SPAIN LOSES 2 - 1 TO FRANCE IN THE U19 EURO CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
Spain was the winner in the first half putting in an exhausting 45 min of domination play that earned them a goal. However the second half was a complete different story with France taking advantage of the Spanish tiredness & scoring twice to take the final & the U19 Euro title.
A grand effort by the Spanish U19 Team to get to the final who were defeated by the better team – France – on this occasion.

SAMI KHEDIRA WILL BE A REAL MADRID PLAYER | STUTTGART ANNOUNCE MOVE ON WEB
It has been written that Real Madrid made a 10M€ offer for the player, but German media cite this figure to be higher & closer to 15M€. Tweet
SPANISH U19 NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM | PHOTO
Many observers are commenting that the U 19 Spanish Team has a list of members with brilliant talent that could make the jump in coming years into the "Absolute" National Team. Names like Dani Pacheco (Liverpool), Segio Canales (Real Madrid), Keko (At Madrid), Thiago (Barcelona), Munain (At Bilbao ) ...just to mention a few.
From here we wish them all the luck in the World for tomorrows Final. Let´s hope they can come back as U 19 European Champs. Tweet
REAL MADRID 2010 | KHEDIRA AGREES & IS CLOSE TO SIGNING
Now REAL MADRID has to come to terms with an economic deal that satisfies the German Club STUTTGART. This should not be a problem because Khedira finishes contract with his German Club & the latter will work to get something out of a “bad situation”
On another note, & staying with Spanish Club REAL MADRID, German team Schalke 04 has made official the signing of RAUL GONZALEZ BLANCO for the next two years on its Web. Tweet
EUROPEAN U19 CHAMPIONSHIPS | SPAIN 3 ENGLAND 1 | SPAIN GOES INTO THE FINAL

INTER MILAN REAL MADRID AGREE TRANSFER OF MAICON ?
The info is that the transfer price has been placed at around 28M€ plus variables for performances, titles & other “inventive” formulas. Now it is Real Madrid that needs to find a suitable agreement with Maicon who is asking for a 4 year contract plus between 6-7M€/ year, an exaggerated sum that is halting advances. Real Madrid is only willing to go as far as 5M€ & thus here is the “negotiating tussle” that could be halting the news from Italy becoming a reality.
Having written all this, it is still pure speculation & I remind you that until both Clubs make an official announcement Maicon is still ( & continues to be) an Inter Milan player. Stay tuned!

Schalke 04 offers a new adventure & the possibility to play in the Champions League where he has a chance to break the all time “European tournaments” goal scoring record of German Gerd Muller (69) who is just 2 goals ahead of Raul who currently has 67 goals. REAL MADRID 2010 | "PROBLEMS" WITH THE SAMI KHEDIRA NEGOTIATIONS
According to the cited paper, Jörg Neubauer representative of Khedira, is using this pre-agreement to pressure Real Madrid in lifting their offer & economic conditions for the German player. Being a “slick” manager Neubauer threatens that CHELSEA FC has also put in a firm offer for his player. The Spanish Club has announced that it will not accept raising their economic offer & does not wish to enter into any “war” with Bayern Munich, thus has asked that the pre-contract be made null before continuing. Real Madrid believes that Khedira & his representative will return to the negotiation table & finish what has been started.

Barcelona based paper “Mundo Deportivo” publish that the deal has been already done, but until both Clubs makes it official we should all be cautious

However, there is a long line of aspiring young candidates that will make securing the position left vacant by Puyol & difficult task. Amorebieta (25 yrs, Ath Bilbao), Alexis (25, Valencia), Alvaro Domínguez (21, At.Madrid ), Victor Ruiz (21, Espanyol)…just to mention a few, will be knocking at the door in any future Spanish Team selection list. SPAIN WINS THE 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP | HOLLAND 0 - SPAIN 1 | SPAIN 2010 FIFA WORLD CHAMPIONS
For once justice has been done, Football has won this time with the victory of SPAIN over HOLLAND 0-1 in the Final of the 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP. It was rough , tough & at times beyond the rules of the game, with possibly one of the "worst" referees in the tournament. However, with the joy radiating from the body one cannot now begin to point out all the negative aspects of this difficult fought out Final Football match.
This is for all the bad mouths ( they & you know who they are), l guys SPAIN is FIFA WORLD CHAMPIONS. For the rest of us who maintained the faith, what a journey & what a "trip" to get to Football Heaven. The European Champions have reached the Olympus of Football with an extraordinary bunch of players that have created a team above all & with the philosophy of playing "Beautiful Football"
We all know the details of the match. Yes, Holland should have been down to 9 men for some terrible fouls that was part of their tactics to stop Spain. But what about Spanish Captain IKER CASILLAS with 3 vital saves. Absolutely amazing, the Best Goalkeeper in the World.
Ramos, Pique, Puyol, Capdevilla, Busquets, Xabi , Xavi, Pedro, Navas, Villa, Torres, Llorente, Javi Martinez, Silva, Mata, Arbeloa, Valdes, Reina, Marchena, Cesc Fabregas...etc ( sorry if I left someone out)...& ANDRES INIESTA with his 115th min winning goal to give us the World Cup & confirm him as one of the "Best Players In the World". Absolutely F**king amazing! They deserve it.
I am happy, full of joy & thanks to the SPANISH NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM for making it so!
2010 FIFA WORLD CUP FINAL | SPAIN STARTING LINEUP AGAINST HOLLAND
Casillas, Ramos, Pique, Puyol, Capdevila, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi Hernandez, Iniesta, Pedro & David Villa.
One will expect Fernando Torres to get a run in the latter part of the 2º half when the Dutch defence is a bit more tired so he can attack them.
Good luck Spain! May the better team win. Tweet

SPAIN FOOTBALL TEAM LINE UP 11 AGAINST HOLLAND, MAYBE!
The very, very latest news – or better said rumour – comes after Spain celebrated their last official training session tonight in the “Soccer City” ground, the stage for tomorrows final. The “wagging tongues” say that 10 players will repeat, the so called 10 untouchables, with just one position in play for 3 players. PEDRO held that position in the semi-final match against Germany & there is “talk” that either FERNANDO TORRES with regain his place or CESC FABREGAS will come in. Said this, no one predicted Pedro for the semi-final & thus an "outsider" like DAVID SILVA is the “dark horse” for many punters. But only 11 can play so I will place my bets on the following names to make up what I think (repeat I think) will be the SPAIN FOOTBALL TEAM STARTING 11 LINE UP AGAINST HOLLAND for the final:
Casillas, Ramos, Pique, Puyol, Capdevila, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas (or Fernando Torres) & David Villa.
This is pure “crystal ball” stuff as Coach Del Bosque has said anything at all tonight & has not even hinted with his choice 11. Either way, good luck to Spain! Tweet

The last winner was Zinedine Zidane (2006).

REAL MADRID HAS GERMAN INTERNATIONAL SAMI KHEDIRA IN MIND?
With this all happening the alternative would be Khedira who is around the 10-15M€ market price range. SPAIN DEFEATS 1 - 0 GERMANY TO REACH THE FINAL OF THE 2010 WORLD CUP
Amazing & historical. The SPANISH NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM put in its most impressive match in the correct moment. SPAIN defeated GERMANY 0-1 in the 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP semi-final to take another step closer to the biggest dream & prize in World Football. Spain has won a place to play Holland in next Sundays World Cup FINAL. Before I continue, great opponent the German team, they will get better as they have a very young team who are talented & will be back. But Spain played & deserved to win.
Spanish Coach Del Bosque surprised everyone by putting in the starting 11 FC Barcelona youngster PEDRO instead of Torres. The move paid off as he added speed up front that annoyed the Germans all the game. In fact, the Germans had tactically decided to give Spain the ball so they could defend & play their "counter-attcak" card which nearly paid off had it not been for a solid Spanish defence & a great IKER CASILLAS.
But it was the whole team, that put in an extraordinary effort taking for example David Villa who ran his life out although he didn´t score, Xavi, Xabi, Iniesta who was magic, Pique solid, Ramos who was an engine ...so on a so on ...& then PUYOL
It was the 73rd min & Spain had a corner. Then Puyol flew from behind to header an unstoppable ball to put it into the back of the German net & put Spain ahead.
This brought down morally the Germans who were having their best moment, plus the tiredness was setting in for them from running all game after the ball which Spain was controlling. From here, the Germans threw everything at the Spaniards to attempt to equalize - plus Spain had some counter-attacking opportunities - to see how the Spainish defence (team) held firm to make history.
Increible night, amazing & historical ...now Sunday. Tweet
SPAIN FOOTBALL TEAM STARTING LINE UP 11 AGAINST GERMANY
I am a bit surprised by the decision, persoanlly, as I would have preferred a midfielder like Silva or Cesc in for Torres, but I must respect the Coaching decision who knows more about these things. Lets hope Torres has his day today!
Therefore this is the apparent SPAIN FOOTBALL TEAM STARTING 11 LINE UP AGAINST GERMANY:
Casillas, Ramos, Pique, Puyol, Capdevila, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, David Villa & Fernando Torres.
GOOD LUCK Spain! Tweet
FIFA WORLD CUP SEMI FINAL 2010 | POSSIBLE SPAIN LINE UP AGAINST GERMANY
The very latest news is that Cesc Fabregas sees his chances fall in starting as he has an annoying ankle & shoulder “injury” that he picked up against Paraguay in the foul-penalty that wasn’t called for Spain. He was taken to hospital yesterday for a scan that showed no signs of any damage, but in training tonight he showed signs that he still felt some pain.
With the Cesc option under a cloud Spanish Coach Del Bosque has a small “dilemma”. Does he keep & put on from the beginning the questioned Fernando Torres or does he give DAVID SILVA or FERNANDO LLORENTE the start. Everything depends on how he finally wishes to play the Germans who have their main strength in their rapid counter-attacks.
Del Bosque can:
1. Place Fernando Torres to open space up for the attacking midfielders & use his pace. These types of games may finally awake the “killer forward” in him.
2. Put in giant Fernando Llorente to give the German Central defenders plenty of work
3. Guarantee the midfield & the possession of the ball with a “5th” midfielder that could be David Silva - or Cesc Fabregas (if fit).
I personally – in my humble opinion – would secure the midfield to control the German play makers & secure the ball. If after 70 mins the game is in a stalemate I would put on a fresh Torres to run at a tired German defence.
Having said all this, everything written at this stage is pure speculation. There are 000,000s pseudo Del Bosque’s with their own game strategy out there including myself. Therefore, following the latest news given by the media observers following the Spain Soccer Team this could be the SPANISH FOOTBALL TEAM LINE UP against GERMANY :
Casillas, Ramos, Pique, Puyol, Capdevila, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi , Iniesta, David Silva (or Cesc Fabregas – Fernando Torres) & David Villa Tweet
