REAL MADRID | HARRY KANE & GARETH BALE

Here is a rumour that may interest Real Madrid & Tottenham Hotspurs fans. According to Spanish Radio, Real Madrid has asked price for English forward HARRY KANE, plus has offered Tottenham ex-player Gareth Bale.

Believe it?

Real Madrid transfer rumours 2017

The asking of price for a player maybe correct, its normal. But offering Gareth Bale could be another matter. What is correct is that there is a growing sector at Real Madrid which believes that the team misses a "true" Centre Forward, a genuine "true Goal killer" that actual striker Benzema is not fulfilling. Added to this Gareth Bale is irregular, hampered by continuous long term injuries that is halting his progression.

Harry Kane has said to English Press that he is a "one Club man", but cannot predict the future. Thus cleverly leaving the door open to opportunities, with Real Madrid as option.

While this news is rumour, what is more viable & realistic is current Coach Pochettino. There will come a moment when current Real Madrid Coach Zidane will leave, either due to bad results, lack of titles or freewill. The Tottenham Coach likes at Real Madrid & showed his worth & skill during the Champions League match between both Clubs a few days ago.

What if Pochettino is the next Real Madrid Coach? Under this scenario Harry Kane landing at Real Madrid is a real possibility.

VILLARREAL TO SIGN ROBERTO SOLDADO - BAKAMBU

Barring "strange events" Tottenham Hotspurs & Spanish forward Roberto Soldado will be new player for Spanish Club Villarreal. Tottenham striker Erik Lamela let the cat out of the bag when he said goodbye to team-mate Soldado via Twitter, which he latter had to eliminate. However, the truth is that Roberto Soldado is currently in Spain, Villarreal, to tie up loose ends & pass the obligatory medical exam.

Its just a matter of hours before both Tottenham & Villarreal announce officially the transfer. Roberto Soldado returns to Spanish Football & will no doubt add experience & goals for Villarreal.

Villarreal signing

But there is more, Villarreal is about to sign another forwardCedric Bakambu comes over from Turkish Club Bursaspor at a price of 7M€.

ATLETICO DE MADRID RETHINKS ROBERTO SOLDADO OF TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS

News this afternoon doing the local Spanish Sports online editions circuit mentions that Spanish Football Club Atletico de Madrid has again focused its "eyes" on Spanish International & Tottenham Hotspurs forward Roberto Soldado.

Recent Friendly matches has alerted Atletico de Madrid that they could be short in the forward line resource area. Although the Spanish Club has signed Mandzukic & Antoine Griezmann the concern is, what if they get injured? The Club technical staff believe an extra forward with proven goal & Spanish Liga experience could be an insurance policy for the long upcoming season.

Roberto Soldado

Atletico de Madrid Coach Diego Simeone has always looked favourably at the idea of incorporating Roberto Soldado. The forward has been on the Atletico list for months, but now as the market gets itself sorted, Soldado gains in value.

The option that most suits the Spanish Club would be a loan. An interesting possibility for Tottenham as the Spaniard has not fully adapted himself to English Football.

TOTTEMHAM HOTSPURS LOOKS AT GRIEZMANN OF REAL SOCIEDAD

Spanish Football Club Real Sociedad & French International player Antoine Griezmann is without doubt a superb player with just 23 years of age. The "youngster" is on the verge of exploding on the World Soccer scene & he may just need to make the jump to a more "resourceful" Club.

Real Sociedad

English Premier League Club Tottenham Hotspurs is showing some serious interest. According to local press the Club is thinking about putting up the 30M€ contract release clause (buy-out) in order to do with the services of the Frenchman.

Tottenham Hotspurs will need however the OK from the player & they are working with their French goalkeeper Lloris (French National Team-mate) to see if he can help convince the Real Sociedad player to say yes to the English Club.

Said this, I have the sensation that Griezmann knows well his potential & may be waiting for a "better" offer from bigger Clubs. It is no secret that Atletico de Madrid has been eyeing the player, while Real Madrid has been also following Griezmann & could be thinking about him to replace Morata who has gone to Juventus FC. Added to all this is the interest from other major European Clubs in Italy, France & England.

REAL MADRID | ARSENAL FC - TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS EYE ALVARO MORATA | LOAN

It was posted here weeks back, English Premier League Clubs Arsenal FC & Tottenham Hotspurs have Real Madrid young U-21 Spanish International forward Alvaro Morata on their list of "Winter Market 2014" incorporations. The Spanish Football Club via the voice of its Coach Carlo Ancelotti has let known that the player will stay, however Arsenal through Manager/Coach Arsene Wenger has been heavily insisting especially after Arsenal forward Walcott injured himself seriously & has solicited the loan of the player.

REAL MADRID ARSENAL 2014

According the news coming out of England - "International Business Times" - today the representative of Morata ( Juanma Lopez ) is in London to sit down with Directives of Tottenham & Arsenal to hear their views. The idea is to then fly back to Madrid & put on the table the loan offers & see if the player decides to take on the "English Adventure".

The truth is that Alvaro Morata has been recently eclipsed by another youngster & Spanish U-21 International in Jese, who has found the confidence of his Coach & technical staff & is getting playing time. The player has taken advantage of his opportunities & is assisting with goals & with his own, the latest yesterday in the Spanish Cup match against Osasuna.

With starting forward Karim Benzema  & Jese in front of Morata,  a loan to another Club that gives the youngster playing time maybe the best option to keep the player evolving & growing. However Coach Ancelotti may be hesitant to let the young player go in case Benzema suffers an injury or suspension which will leave the "Striker" position thin.  Plus, in today´s Press Conference Coach Carlo Ancelotti revealed that Morata himself has asked Real Madrid to stay.

True or not, the issue will be hot in coming weeks & the player ( & Club ) will have to make difficult decisions. No one doubts that a Football Player - especially a young promise - needs to play in order to develop & grow. Morata under that current conditions & circumstances is being "blocked" out & will keep the bench warm.

REAL MADRID TO LOAN ALVARO MORATA TO TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS ?

The tough & long negotiations between Real Madrid & English Premier Club Tottenham Hotspurs build relationships. In the end the "wheeling & dealing" makes friends between the Directives of both Clubs which later turn into benefits & deals.

News from Spanish daily "Gazeta" reports that Real Madrid & Spanish U-21 International Alvaro Morata forward will be a "Winter Transfer Market" addition for Tottenham Hotspurs. There is a "verbal" agreement & the terms will be strictly "on loan". The English Club has been following Morata for sometime & even wanted to include the player this summer as part of the "Bale Deal".

REAL MADRID

This way the young promise would get regular playing time so as to not halt his evolution & progression. While giving Tottenham some more upfront firepower something the English Club has been missing this season.

The option of moving to London for sometime may be good for Morata. Apart from broadening his cultural experience he will get more Football time, as the recent "rebirth" of Karim Benzema has put once again a "barrier" for the young promise.

Stay tuned, as this needs confirmation & is still a "verbal agreement". There is still a month left before the "Winter Transfer Window" & anything could happen. An injury to Benzema would, for example, halt all idea of loaning Morata to Tottenham.

REAL MADRID ANNOUNCE GARETH BALE SIGNING

Its over. Tottenham Hotspurs transfers Gareth Bale over to Real Madrid CF. The Spanish Football Club lifted onto its website the announcement after Tottenham Hotspurs Coach Villas-Boas announced the transfer after their Premier League game against Arsenal in post press conference.

REAL MADRID 2013
REAL MADRID WEBSITE
The Welsh player will fly into Madrid tomorrow morning & face the routine medical exam. Then Real Madrid will present their new signing & player to World media at 13.00 Spanish local time. There will then be a player presentation to fans on the turf of the "Santiago Bernabeu Stadium" & a packed press conference.

For now neither Clubs are releasing the final transfer fee , but Real Madrid insists it is 91M€ ( including the variables ) while Tottenham Hotspurs says its around 100M€. For now Real Madrid & Spanish Football fans can wait, what is more important is that the long wait is finally over.

REAL MADRID - GARETH BALE NEWS TRANSFER UPDATE

Few emails received by readers asking me what is the latest news exactly happening with Real Madrid & Gareth Bale from a local point of view.

Real Madrid

The following is what we know locally about the situation:
  • Last Wednesday the deal was agreed : 91M€. Apparently Real Madrid, players rep & Tottenham Football Director Baldini , under Levy guidance, shut the deal.
  • Tottenham Hotspurs asked Real Madrid to wait until they secured Willian & Lamela, the substitutes of Bale
  • Basically it was agreed that between last Friday & yesterday things would be made official & Real Madrid can present locally
So what happened?

The main reason: Chelsea FC lured away from Tottenham their initial target Willian on Friday & Lamela of AC Roma is yet to be secured. Tottenham still has not the "substitutes" for Bale.

The news racing out of the UK is that Tottenham Hotspurs has halted the negotiations & that Club President Levy is upset because:
  • Real Madrid prematurely announced the deal was done
  • Real Madrid set up a "stage" at their Stadium for a presentation
  • Bale flew off to Marbella Spain this weekend , where Real Madrid President Florentino Perez was as well. A coincidence, & they never meet.
However, the above claims / reasons are "distorted". Tottenham has deals with big sponsors that previously signed with Bale on-board.  The Club needs to secure Top replacements to keep sponsors happy. Secondly, it was agreed Tottenham will not make things official until they secure substitute replacement. Thirdly, President Levy has an "image" to look after as he wants to keep his "hard man" profile intact in the face of the Club, fans, investors & other Club stakeholders.

Bale obviously is "furious" as he can´t understand why a deal struck last week ( Wednesday ) has been halted. He has pressured more today by not going to training.

Why has Tottenham said its looking at other offers? Don´t really know. Could be the excuse to win time as they attempt to secure the Bale replacements or raise the price in the last minute. But there is no Club in the World that will surpass the 91M - 100M€ ( depending on payment terms ) being offer by Real Madrid. Plus the player only wishes to play at Real Madrid.
All Football observers locally say that its a done deal. Tottenham is just waiting to secure replacements. As it has always been said here when the first rumours appeared months back between Real Madrid & Gareth Bale, the deal would go right down to the wire, that is, possibly the last day for transfers.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS - REAL MADRID AGREE ON GARETH BALE TRANSFER | NEWS FROM ITALY

News out of Italy via "Sky Sport" & from journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. According to the flash Tottenham Hotspurs & Real Madrid have come to an agreement in the Gareth Bale Operation. The transfer figure is 93M GBP plus Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao, however this needs further explaining.

REAL MADRID 2013

Real Madrid will pay Tottenham Hotspurs 93M GBP in transfer payment, a payment that is over two years- 50% now 50% next year. Real Madrid has included in the deal Fabio Coentrao who has been valued at 7MGBP. These cash figures will need to be confirmed as the news is recent & just out. But if added it sums 100M GBP (pounds)

Apparently Real Madrid made the offer yesterday to unblock negotiations & Tottenham President Levy has given the "green light". In fact, the English Club is now moving quickly to reinvest its new found money on Anzhi winger Willian & AC Roma forward Erik Lamela. One would expect that once these players have been tie up by Tottenham both Clubs ( ...Real Madrid CF ) will announce the Gareth Bale transfer as official which could be this weekend.

If all the above is true, Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti will have another headache to overcome & "problem" to solve. Apart from the current "Iker Casillas vs Diego Lopez" goalkeeping dilemma, he could face a "who do I take off from the midfield" issue with the current Real Madrid squad. Interesting times ahead for the Italian Coach.

Said this, it is wise to repeat, this is still speculation & Football rumour. Nothing is 100% ( not even the "World Record Transfer Price" for Bale ) until both Clubs make it official. Please keep this in mind.

Stay tuned!

MORE NEWS : Payment details:
- Real Madrid will pay Tottenham Hotspurs 109M€ - in two year terms.
- Tottenham will pay Real Madrid 17,5M€ for Coentrao - in two year terms

GARETH BALE LATEST NEWS | REAL MADRID OFFER - SITUATION

The Gareth Bale "saga" continues in the media as it should, it is the only real "interesting" piece of news left before the start of the Spanish Football season this weekend that sells Sports papers.

Lots of news coming out from England. However most are strategic "leaks" or "false". There is no real big interest from Manchester United ( at least not in the prices being offered ) as its a Tottemham Hotspurs inspired "leak" & Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti has not said so directly as published that "Bale does not fit in his team scheme".

REAL MADRID 2013

This is the very latest situation with Gareth Bale. Last night in a popular TV Football programme the situation was debated between Football observers,  & those close to Real Madrid gave the local news:

  • Real Madrid offers Tottenham Hotpsurs 87M€ in cash.
A second option:

  • If Tottenham Hotspurs accepts payment in four terms, Real Madrid would lift their offer to 98.7M€
In both cases there are no players to exchange from Real Madrid, as speculated by press ( Coentrao, Di Maria, Morata or Jese .

The local Football observers comment that Tottenham Hotspurs President Levy is attempting to lift the price as high as possible with "differing stories". The actual player, Gareth Bale, is said to be extremely upset with his President because the latter had promised him that if Tottemham did not make Champions League & if an important offer were to come the Club would let Bale go. The player feels that the Club has gone back on their words as both conditions have been met & he wishes to play at Real Madrid.

This is the news from Spain. The offer is on the Tottenham Hotspurs table for them to make a decision. Stay tuned!

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS - REAL MADRID CONTINUE TALKS ON GARETH BALE

Back after a few days relaxing.

The local Spanish Sports papers have the summer pre-season matches on-board with a "curious" Real Madrid - Chelsea match coming up & a "rancorous" Mourinho with his latest comments, FC Barcelona passing through the Middle East & now in Thailand, Atletico de Madrid bettering in South America, Valencia putting in 4 goals in their friendly, Cesc Fabregas apparently "safe" at Barça from Manchester United & some news on local signings.

REAL MADRID 2013

However, the paper seller continues to be the Gareth Bale interest from Real Madrid. This has now turned serious & looks definitely a reality. The only issue is the transfer payment & how that money will be paid: we are talking big money.

Tottenham Hotspurs Coach Villas-Boas has upset Bale with latest comments & the Club is upset with the players attitude, so much so, that Tottenham has threatened to leave Bale on the bench all season. I take it they are just words, but serious enough to indicate that things are on the move.

From Spain the news is that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez met up with Joe Lewis - Club "Heavyweight ( not punt intended) of the English Club - in the USA where Real Madrid is doing part pre-season to advance on the Bale operation.

The latest figure is of a 115M€ transfer payment, the hurdle are the payments. Real Madrid wants to pay in 5 instalments, while Tottemham wants to money now so as to re-invest in new players in the quickest possible time. Plus Tottenham asks Real Madrid for payment guarantees, we are talking big money, a new World transfer record.

With these issues settled, in theory, the transfer deal should be shut & announced as Real Madrid technical staff wish Bale to begin his adaptation as soon as possible. Apart for Football there will be a "cultural" adaptation period which is just as important.

I will keep attentive on the situation as most of the Football World.

VALENCIA CF - TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS CLOSE DEAL FOR FORWARD ROBERTO SOLDADO

After days of negotiations & speculations, Spanish Football Club Valencia CF has officially announced via its website ( as has Tottenham ) that they have come to an agreement to transfer their Spanish International & forward Roberto Soldado to English Football Club Tottenham Hotspurs. The only thing now remaining is that the player pass the obligatory medical exam before closing the deal 100%.

The deal was shut for 30M€ which is the players contract release clause. Roberto Soldado will sign with Tottenham Hotspurs for the next 4 seasons.

Spanish Football 2013

Another Spanish Football export & from here I would like to wish the player all the luck in the World. To the Tottenham Hotspurs fans just say that they will be adding to their Club a fine professional with plenty of goal. Soldado is a hard working team player that will give plenty of joys & goals for the Club. Nice buy & great addition.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS 120M€ BALE AGREEMENT WITH REAL MADRID ?

The "pressure" from the player has been decisive. Tottenham Hotspurs Welsh International Gareth Bale has let known to his Coach & Club President Daniel Levy that he wishes to leave for Real Madrid & to leave now. The offer from Real Madrid is already on the Tottenham Hotspurs table, its a World Record 98,5M€ which the English Club has turned down for the moment.

REAL MADRID 2013

Today, local Spanish Sports paper "AS" goes out on a limb. According to them - or their sources - there is a "verbal agreement" between Tottenham Hotspurs & Real Madrid CF for the transfer of Gareth Bale. The novelty is that the price, the value, has risen to 120M€ much more than the reported 98,5M€ which smashes the 96M€ World Record of the Cristiano Ronaldo signing from Manchester United. The Tottenham Hotspurs President Daniel Levy has asked Real Madrid to wait until the English Team can secure three reinforcements.

According to the Spanish Sports paper Tottenham likes Real Madrid defender Coentrao, which could come into the operation & reduce the 120M€ figure. But Tottemham also likes Real Madrid winger Di Maria & has attempted to add young U-21 International Morata, the last rejected by Real Madrid.

The other two players are Valencia CF forward Roberto Soldado which seems to be on the verve of concluding within the next hours, & apparently Liverpool FC forward Luis Suarez which will be a harder operation as Arsenal FC is involved & has the issue well advanced.

With the three reported players shut for the English Team , the Gareth Bale operation would make a huge advance with only the details remaining of payments, players inclusions & financial juggling to break World Football Records. It seems that it is a question of time.

Said & reported all this, it still remains speculation & rumour. What can be said with certainty is that we are witnessing some hard negotiations that has brought to light some incredible payment figures that are mind blowing. The next days & weeks will be interesting. Stay tuned!

Latest:
According to English paper "Daily Star" Tottenham Hotspurs & Real Madrid have come to a deal worth 109M€ for the transfer of Gareth Bale. That figure would fall to 97M€ if Tottenham could include in the operation Real Madrid young forward Morata.

With the money received by Tottenham the English Club would attempt to sign Argentine International & Paris St Germain winger Pastore.

Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID - GARETH BALE | APPROACHING A NEW WORLD RECORD TRANSFER ?

The news from the BBC ( UK ) is that Tottenham Hotspurs has knocked back an incredible 98M€ offer from Real Madrid for its player Gareth Bale. According to the English news sources Bale is not impressed at all as he desires to move over to Spain this season. Apparently the player ( & his family ) has began to pressure the Club & its "tough" President Daniel Levy to negotiate to let him go.

REAL MADRID 2013

As said here many months ago, this operation was never going to be easy.

From here, Spain, the news is that Tottemham Hotspurs wishes 150M€, which is pure madness, but is it? Real Madrid will plant itself around 100M€ & ask the player to pressure locally. In the operation Real Madrid will offer defender Coentrao &/or Argentine forward Angel Di Maria. These two players may reach the 150M€ figure if we sum up cash plus value of the players.

It is rumoured that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez & Tottenham Hotspurs President Levy have scheduled a face to face reunion next week in Miami (USA) to talk about & perhaps shut the transfer of Gareth Bale over to the Spanish Football Club.

The agreement between player & Real Madrid is closed & defined. The contract is for 6 seasons & the salary for Bale is 10M€ per season. The player was apparently promised by the Club that if Tottenham did not play Champions League this season that the Club would negotiate his transfer. Bale is unimpressed with the stance of his Club.

Conclusion, this operation will take a lot longer than everyone expects. Plus an imminent agreement will need to be seen while things are still very unsure. Tottenham Hotspurs is not impressed either with Gareth Bale & his attitude & less with Real Madrid which they considered have being "eating away" at Bale. Levy may not sell after all.

Stay tuned, we could be on the way to a new "World Record Football transfer" for a player. Again Real Madrid in the forefront.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS ABOUT TO SIGN VALENCIA CF ROBERTO SOLDADO

Everything indicates that Spanish Football is about to export another asset to the English Premier League. English Club Tottenham Hotspurs has indicated to Valencia CF that they will pay the 30M€ contract release clause of Spanish International & Valencia forward Roberto Soldado. The deal is so close that it is said that the only thing needed is to come to an agreement on the forms ( manner ) of the payment.

Spanish Soccer 2013

The negotiations between the Clubs has been long with Valencia insisting on the 30M€ figure throughout.

Valencia CF has already a few names on their list to replace Soldado. There is Portuguese International & Zaragoza player Postinga , RCD Espanyol forward Sergio Garcia or Getafe striker Adrian Colunga.

Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID | TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS PRICES BALE AT 120M€

Tottenham Hotspurs 24 year old player Gareth Bale still is grabbing headlines on Spanish Sports papers. Most are contradictory, in that he will not be leaving his Club this season while others insist that players wishes to transfer to Real Madrid.

The Welshman is definitely the signing objective of Real Madrid President Florentino Perez but not at any price.

REAL MADRID CANDIDATE 2013

Today local media publish that Tottenham Hotspurs will only sit down to discuss a possible transfer with a starting price of 120M€, a record figure, as it surpasses by far the 96M€ paid by Real Madrid to Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo. Clearly a signal from Tottenham to Real Madrid that their star player is "out of bounds". The London Club is said also to be offering Bale a salary raise from 4.5M€ to 9M€ to convince his stay while Directives also wish that Bale stay at least another season to help the Club get into Champions League.

Tottenham Coach Villas-Boas insists the player is not moving & local Football personalities like ex Coach Harry Redknapp believes that player will stay as well. But Real Madrid has a "wild-card" up their sleeve, Argentine International Di Maria.

Real Madrid will be willing to go as far as 80M€ plus include their winger Di Maria in the operation. The Argentine is liked at the Club & by Coach Villas-Boas & could be the "natural" replacement for Bale if he were to leave.

What is clear at this stage is that "nothing is clear" with Bale. There is wide consensus that negotiations between Tottenham & Real Madrid will got to the wire, to the last day of transfers operations which is the 31st of August.

Stay tuned!

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS FOCUSES ON REAL MADRID YOUNGSTER JESE

The Real Madrid youngster has been knocking at the doors of the first team all last season. Jese Rodriguez has comeback from the U-20 FIFA World Championships with 5 goals & with the attention of the mayor European Clubs. According to the English Press, Tottenham Hotspurs is very interested & will prepare a 12M€ offer for the young Spanish Football promise.

The player has a year left of his contract & there is "doubt" at Real Madrid whether the forward will renew. Jese wishes to play & is doing everything he can to get a "guarantee" from the Club that he will have minutes. Real Madrid from its end see Jese as a future promise & also thinks about possible loans to keep the player active. The competition is fierce at Real Madrid upfront with Higuain ( still a Real Madrid player apart from said outside offers ) , Karim Benzema & another youngster Morata.

The other news connected with this story is that it may open the door for Real Madrid with their attempts to negotiate with Tottenham Hotspurs over their winger Gareth Bale. Jese could be a negotiation piece between the Club, a lever that could lower the transfer price & also fill the gap created with a possible Bale departure.

At this stage it is all speculation & rumour. So much so for young Jese as it is for Gareth Bale, the last in a complex & difficult stage between Clubs. Stay tuned!

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS LOOKS AT VALENCIA FORWARD SOLDADO (OR VILLA ) ?

English Club Tottenham Hotspurs is on the local Spanish Sports daily s for third reasons this morning:
  • Tottenham apparently has Brazilian International midfielder Paulinho in "the bag", beating Real Madrid CF. However, it was never clear Real Madrid made an offer for Paulinho in the first place
  • Gareth Bale gets very complicated for Real Madrid as the price tag of 80-100M€ is for "madmen". Plus apparently Tottenham does not wish to sell.
  • The interest of Tottenham Hotspurs to sign Valencia CF & Spanish International Roberto Soldado hits hard locally in the press.

Spanish Football 2013

Roberto Soldado is as well on the agenda of Atletico de Madrid. However it is being reported that Tottenham Hotspurs has entered the picture & wishes to sign the forward for next season. The English Club values the player around 18M€ while Valencia CF puts the price around the 30M€ suggesting some serious negotiations ahead if Tottenham really wishes to sign Soldado.

Tottemham looks set to sell Adebayor to Turkish Club Besiktas for 6M€ & this will leave a vacant position upfront that the Club will need to fill. The explosion of the Roberto Soldado Tottenham interest in the press makes me think Roberto Soldado "smells" more of a "Plan B" , as the real target is FC Barcelona forward David Villa. Added to this it may also be that doubts may have set in within the English Club, Soldado is a more younger player than Villa.

Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID THINKING IN BRAZILIAN INTERNATIONAL PAULINHO ?

This piece of news is doing the rounds in England ( "The Times" ) & locally in the Spanish Sports papers  Real Madrid it is written has set its "signing eyes" on Brazilian International & Corinthians midfielder Paulinho. The story gains weight & attracts further attention if the content mentions that the player is a signing asked specifically by the new Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti which makes Paulinho thus a priority.

REAL MADRID CF

Said & read all this, a Club like Real Madrid constantly attracts rumours, speculations & players of all types especially in the summer transfer months simply because its Real Madrid CF. It is true that Ancelotti maybe concerned with pivotal Real Madrid  midfielder Xabi Alonso who is under a "injury cloud" & may wish to have a "Plan B" up his sleeve. But Real Madrid has "overbooking" in the midfield area with Khedira, Modric , Isco & even young Casemiro. Granted they aren´t Xabi Alonso - no one is in World Football - there are all competent Football players.

The only Club to date that has officially made an offer for Paulinho is English Club Tottenham Hotspurs which has put on the table 17,5M€. This does not mean that Real Madrid will not lift & bid higher, but the Spanish Club has other "bigger fish" to aim for like Tottemham star Gareth Bale whose price is around 80M€ & a centre forward with names like Cavani & Luis Suarez in the air that also have a price around the 50M€.

For the Real Madrid fans & followers I would recommend caution with this rumour & see how things develop. Paulinho may be finally signed by Real Madrid this is always a possibility but lets wait till the "fat lady sings". Summer is a terrible period for Football rumours.

REAL MADRID SIGNINGS | ISCO, CAVANI & GARETH BALE THE CHOSEN

A popular Spanish Football late night TV show has revealed the three Real Madrid signings for next season. Journalist Juan Gato, reinforced by Alfredo Duro & the shows journalist ( Antonio Luque etc ) analysed the Clubs situation & according to their "inside information" gave the following scoops.

  • The next Real Madrid Coach will be Carlo Ancelotti. His official announcement is being delayed for two prime reasons. Firstly, PSG needs to find a substitute Coach & until then, from respect , Real Madrid does not wish to make the signing of Ancelotti official. The second is for financial tax reasons, if Ancelotti signs in June his tax rate in Spain will be more than 50%, if he signs in July it drops around 25%. Its about time limits living in Spain if you pay one % or the other. Meanwhile, Ancelotti is already planning the season from "a far".
  • It was believed ( still a possibility ) that Manchester City was in the front running for the signing of Spanish Football youngster & "Football Pearl" ISCO. The Spanish U-21 International & Malaga FC player seems to have changed his mind, & according to the mentioned Spanish Football observers there is agreement between Real Madrid & Malaga FC & a tacit agreement with the player. The transfer sum being said is around the 25-30M€ mark.

    Obviously
Manchester City will make a last big effort & today in Spanish online media "elconfidencial" journalist José Felix Diaz says all the contrary to the above, that ISCO has chosen Manchester City to follow his ex-Malaga Coach Pellegrini who guarantees Isco playing time.
Real Madrid 2013 transfers

  • Real Madrid knows it needs a number 9 , a pure striker. The chosen player is Uruguay & Napoli player CAVANI. The deal is apparently advanced & needs to fix some minor issues. The price is around 55M€, but Real Madrid wishes to lower this to 35M€ including players in the operation. Napoli asks for Khedira & U-21 International Morata, both of which we doubt Real Madrid will accept. However whatever the final formula, Cavani is the chosen foward, over Liverpool FC forward Luis Suarez or the talked about Borussia Dortmund Lewandowski

Real Madrid transfers 2013
  • Lastly, it was commented that the signing of Tottenham Hotspurs Welsh International Gareth Bale was on course & virtually tied up. Tottenham Coach Villas-Boas is saying that Bale is not going anywhere but locally commentators insist that this is smoke. The price of Bale started around 90M€ but it is speculated that it will be finally closer to 70M€. There is no rush here from Real Madrid, the Spanish Club has Bale as the maximum priority to sign for next season & they wish to do things correctly with Tottenham & the player. But locally those in "the know" are convinced Bale will come & tied.
Just an ending note, although the Spanish TV programme is full of reputable Spanish Football journalists & observers their "inside information" remains speculation & even rumour. As I always say until Clubs make things official nothing is certain. Having said this & made it clear, the news is that the three big player signings for Real Madrid will be: ISCO; CAVANI & BALE

Stay tuned.
