REAL MADRID NEWS | THE CURRENT GONZALO HIGUAIN SITUATION

Italian Club Napoles - Napoli - has come to an agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Argentine International forward Gonzalo Higuain. The deal is 37M€ plus 3M€ more if certain objectives are achieved, the only thing needed is the OK & signature from the player.

However, the player has become "prisoner" of his unilateral negotiations. Higuain prefers to go to English Premier League Club Arsenal FC where he has a more succulent personal offer. But Arsenal only will pay 28M€ & Higuain has been attempting these past days to convince Arsenal to lift their offer & match Napoles. Arsenal FC is not willing to lift 12M€ & has Rooney & Luis Suarez as alternatives. 

Napoles Directives are currently in Madrid attempting to convince Higuain that their project is attractive for the player & that a move to Italy will be beneficial for the forward where he will join ex-team mates Jose Callejon & Raul Albiol. 

Real Madrid Coach Ancelotti spoke to the Argentine last week & let him known that he is welcomed to stay at the Club, but the player is determined to exit the Club as expressed publicly. The only door open for Higuain is Napoles, Real Madrid will only sell their player for 40M€, price that Napoles is willing to pay, the only Club.

REAL MADRID OK TO HIGUAIN TRANSFER TO NAPOLES ?

According to the Italian press Real Madrid has accepted a 35M€ offer for its Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain from Italian Club Napoles ( Napoli ). The Sports daily says that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has given his OK personally to the operation. Now Napoles has to shut its deal with the economic conditions with the player.

Gonzalo Higuain would cover the gap left open at the Italian Club by the departure of Cavani to Paris St Germain. Plus if this story is correct, the Argentine striker would join ex team-mates Jose Callejon & Raul Albiol.

As with all news of this type there is no official communication from the Clubs. It is best to wait for a confirmation before considering the story as fact.

NAPOLES SHUTS TRANSFER OF REAL MADRID DEFENDER ALBIOL ?

News out from Italian, more concretely "La Gazzetta de lo Sport", indicate that Real Madrid & Spanish International defender Raul Albiol may join his ex-team-mate Callejon at Italian Club Napoles.

The Italian news source claims that Napoles has come to an agreement with Real Madrid to transfer Albiol for 12M€. The agreement with the player would be for a contract for 4 seasons.

The idea fits in with the desire of Albiol to find "more playing time". He would join a Coach that knows him well from his days at Valencia CF & knows well Spanish Football in general in Rafael Benitez. If it is all true, Napoles incorporates a very fine & solid defender that can give security & guarantees.

As with all news of this type, there is as yet no official communication from the Clubs & thus it is prudent to wait & receive official confirmation before stating this as fact. Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID CALLEJON TO SIGN WITH ITALIAN CLUB NAPOLES

According to Italian source "TuttoNapoli" Real Madrid player Jose Callejon will fly off to Napoles ( Italy ) tomorrow to sign & seal his transfer with the city Club. Its been speculated the past week that Napoles Spanish Coach Rafael Benitez wished to incorporate that Real Madrid player for next season & was negotiating. 

Apparently both Clubs have come to an economic agreement of 10M€ in transfer fee, & the player will receive 3,5M€ per year in salary. Callejon will join a list of Spanish Football Players that have chosen Italian Football like Fernando Llorente ( Juventus ) , Joaquin - Borja Valero - Marcos Alonso ( Fiorentina ) & Pedro Obiang ( Sampdoria )

The Italian team gets a very good Football player, very professional, hard working & committed with his team. Callejon was very effective with Real Madrid & scored lots of important goals, but he was almost always on the bench & every Football player needs regular participation & full matches to bring out all of their full potential. 

The soon to be transfer is as yet no official & we should all be prudent & await notification. Until then, from here I wish Callejon all the luck in the World with his Italian adventure. To the Napoles fans, you are receiving a fine Football player.

REAL MADRID SIGNINGS | ISCO, CAVANI & GARETH BALE THE CHOSEN

A popular Spanish Football late night TV show has revealed the three Real Madrid signings for next season. Journalist Juan Gato, reinforced by Alfredo Duro & the shows journalist ( Antonio Luque etc ) analysed the Clubs situation & according to their "inside information" gave the following scoops.

• The next Real Madrid Coach will be Carlo Ancelotti. His official announcement is being delayed for two prime reasons. Firstly, PSG needs to find a substitute Coach & until then, from respect , Real Madrid does not wish to make the signing of Ancelotti official. The second is for financial tax reasons, if Ancelotti signs in June his tax rate in Spain will be more than 50%, if he signs in July it drops around 25%. Its about time limits living in Spain if you pay one % or the other. Meanwhile, Ancelotti is already planning the season from "a far".

• It was believed ( still a possibility ) that Manchester City was in the front running for the signing of Spanish Football youngster & "Football Pearl" ISCO. The Spanish U-21 International & Malaga FC player seems to have changed his mind, & according to the mentioned Spanish Football observers there is agreement between Real Madrid & Malaga FC & a tacit agreement with the player. The transfer sum being said is around the 25-30M€ mark. 
  
  Obviously Manchester City will make a last big effort & today in Spanish online media "elconfidencial" journalist José Felix Diaz says all the contrary to the above, that ISCO has chosen Manchester City to follow his ex-Malaga Coach Pellegrini who guarantees Isco playing time.

• Real Madrid knows it needs a number 9 , a pure striker. The chosen player is Uruguay & Napoli player CAVANI. The deal is apparently advanced & needs to fix some minor issues. The price is around 55M€, but Real Madrid wishes to lower this to 35M€ including players in the operation. Napoli asks for Khedira & U-21 International Morata, both of which we doubt Real Madrid will accept. However whatever the final formula, Cavani is the chosen foward, over Liverpool FC forward Luis Suarez or the talked about Borussia Dortmund Lewandowski

• Lastly, it was commented that the signing of Tottenham Hotspurs Welsh International Gareth Bale was on course & virtually tied up. Tottenham Coach Villas-Boas is saying that Bale is not going anywhere but locally commentators insist that this is smoke. The price of Bale started around 90M€ but it is speculated that it will be finally closer to 70M€. There is no rush here from Real Madrid, the Spanish Club has Bale as the maximum priority to sign for next season & they wish to do things correctly with Tottenham & the player. But locally those in "the know" are convinced Bale will come & tied.

Just an ending note, although the Spanish TV programme is full of reputable Spanish Football journalists & observers their "inside information" remains speculation & even rumour. As I always say until Clubs make things official nothing is certain. Having said this & made it clear, the news is that the three big player signings for Real Madrid will be: ISCO; CAVANI & BALE

REAL MADRID | EDINSON CAVANI THE CHOICE OF ANCELOTTI

Edinson Cavani has scored 29 goals in 34 games this season & seems the striker that Real Madrid wishes for next season. Current Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain looks all set to leave for Juventus ( or England ) & there will be a place for the Napoles Uruguayan International. 

News from Italy & locally cite that current Paris St Germain Coach - & next Real Madrid Coach - Carlo Ancelotti has called personally the representative of Cavani to let him know that he & Real Madrid count on his player for next season. Plus days back the Real Madrid Director General Jose Sanchez flew to Napoles to tell the player of his Clubs interest for his services.

Meanwhile the Italian Club Napoles is "auctioning" the player in order to get the most money possible from a transfer. The Club has let known to Real Madrid that English Club Manchester City is already negotiating for their player. The advantage that Real Madrid has in this "tug-of-war" operation is that it seems Cavani wants to play at Real Madrid & not in England.  Either way the transfer price will be high as speculation puts it around the 35-40M€ mark. No doubt Real Madrid will force downward & may attempt to put in a player.

REAL MADRID | CAVANI WANTED BUT PRICE OF RELEASE CLAUSE TOO HIGH

Real Madrid is looking for an specialist goal scorer, a goal square "killer, a classic Number Nine Striker. It all looks clear that Gonzalo Higuain will be shown the door at the end of the season & Italian Club Juventus could be his new Club, while Karim Benzema seems safe for now, but a great offer may change minds at Real Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund forward Lewandowski has been informally approached but he looks tied up for Bayern Munich, Sergio Aguero is still a serious candidate & so is Napoli forward Uruguayan International Edinson Cavani.

That Real Madrid is looking at & even willing to make an offer for Cavani has been verified via his brother in an interview to Napoli Radio. Walter added that apart from the interest their exists an important obstacle, the contract release clause of Cavani which is elevated & is halting progress with Real Madrid.

His brother added that he believes it is time for Cavani  to move on from Napoli & Italian Football in order to progress. He could not guarantee that Cavani would stay at Napoli next season.

The Napoli forward has scored 101 goals for the Italian Club, a feat that has attracted the mayor European Clubs, Real Madrid included. Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID NEWS | CARLO ANCELOTTI - CAVANI TIED UP ?

This next story should be taken for what it is, speculation without any official statement. The news comes out of the Barcelona based Spanish Sports daily "Sport", something good & bad, the first its out of the Real Madrid dominated media & the second bad because "Sport" is always attempting to put a spoke in the Real Madrid bicycle.

According to reports, many observers believe that current Coach José Mourinho will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season. Some have gone further in commenting that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has a pre-agreement with Italian & Paris St Germain Coach Carlo Ancelotti in the case that Mourinho announces his exit.

One of the demands of Carlo Ancelotti for Real Madrid if he was to take over is the signing of Uruguayan & Napoles striker Cavani. The mentioned Spanish Sports daily report today that Real Madrid has Cavani tied up for next season in accord with the solicitation of Ancelotti thus making the Uruguayan the first signing for next season.

REAL MADRID REALLY WANTS NAPOLES CAVANI ?

Gareth Bale, David Silva, Falcao & now EDISON CAVANI of NAPOLES is sounding as a possible REAL MADRID signing attempt for next season. As with the already mentioned other names, Cavani is growing in strength as the weeks go on.

The 25 year old Uruguay International has been starring in Italian Football the past seasons & the Italian Press believes that the player will find new shores next season. 

The Spanish Sports daily "Mundo Deportivo" pick up on the news from Italy & place in their headlines that REAL MADRID will make a 56M€ offer, an offer that they believe the Napoles Club cannot refuse ( no punt attempted ).

However, my personal opinion is that the prime objectives are others & double. TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS Welsh winger GARETH BALE is a firm target & the other is ATLETICO DE MADRID Colombian International striker FALCAO. This last is steps above Cavani as a forward & may have already a pre-agreement with Madrid.

Cavani maybe more a "Plan B" in case the Falcao option falls sour.

REAL MADRID FOLLOWING CAVINI ? AGAIN ?

Most take it for granted the Atletico de Madrid & Colombian International Falcao will be moving over to REAL MADRID at the end of the season. They cite an apparent "pre-agreement" between Falcao & Madrid to support their belief.

However there is another South American in Italy causing a "scream" with his 18 goals to date for NAPOLES in the Italian Serie A. Uruguayan striker CAVANI is said to be on the REAL MADRID agenda for next season. I would brush this off as another rumour but its not the first time that Cavini sounds for the Spanish Football Club. The player is a constant & ongoing rumour that at least lifts an eyebrow & forces you to pay attention.

The player has apparently let known to his representative & the Club that he would like to move onto other shores to play his Football.  But as nearly always, the top class players in demand have more than just one Club interested in them. In this case, it is written from England that Manchester City is also looking at the Napoles forward as a next season reinforcement.

This raises the question? Sergio Aguero? Can we be witnessing a game of musical chairs happening this summer? Someone may be left standing. Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID FOLLOWING FEDERICO FERNANDEZ OF NAPOLES ?

Its rumour time again folks, & the end of this season is still months away. From Italy, we get the news locally that REAL MADRID is following closely 22 year old Argentine Central Defender for NAPOLES, FEDERICO FERNANDEZ. The Spanish Football Club has even put a price, 10M€ which will obviously now raise seeing it is Real Madrid showing the interest.

If there is any truth at all to this rumour, it could signal the "end" of the road at Real Madrid for current defenders Albiol &/or Carvalho. The young Argentine will then come in to "rejuvenate" further the Real Madrid defensive line.

VILLAREAL 2 NAPOLES 1 | VILLAREAL GO THROUGH TO KEEP THE SPANISH FLAG FLYING

Fantastic news for Spanish Football as VILLAREAL won 2 - 1 Italian Club NAPOLES to go on in the EUROPA LEAGUE competition. It was never going to be easy & the Italians put up a good game & fight but were overcome by a more determined & better Villareal.

The Italian team via TAMSIK scored first in the 16th min to make us all wonder if the Spanish team could pull things off to their favour. But they buried our doubts & fears as NILMAR equalized in the 42nd min & ROSSI scored a second in the 46th min of extra time in the first half.


Napoles hit the post twice in the second half as they fought to turn things around but failed in their heroic attempt, something that one has to give them merit.
