ANGEL DI MARIA & RADAMEL FALCAO SHATTERED REAL MADRID DREAMS

The names Radamel Falcao & Angel Di Maria have sounded heavily all summer within the Spanish Football Sports media & particularly linked with Real Madrid. The first for his "obsessive desire" to play at Real Madrid & the latter for his wish to leave said Club. Connected fates, Real Madrid for both & the some representative Jorge Mendes who will play his part.

The end result, Falcao saw his dream shattered & ended up in Manchester United, & Di Maria left but admitting he did not want to leave but pushed out. In both cases, both players have "spewed" some bad blood towards Real Madrid & seem to be expressing their ill-feeling. Their disappointment is obvious, the fact is Real Madrid did not fold to their demands, & in some sense their "black-mail".

So what happened to shatter dreams? Money. The Di Maria case was obvious, the Falcao case was indirectly, a badly played strategy.

Manchester United has now Radamel Falcao, a loan that will turn into a +60M€ buy-out next season. The arrival announcement from the player to English Press was that "he dreamt of playing at Manchester United". This has made many laugh here in Spain & illustrates the "white-lies" syndrome that most Football players are afflicted. If your a Man Utd. fan, don´t hold it against the man, but it was never the objective to end up at Manchester.

The number one objective of Falcao, his true dream & desire of was always Real Madrid. The player & his representative did everything to get Real Madrid to sign the Colombian. They applied daily pressure & media manipulation in Italian, French, Portuguese & Spanish Sports press to keep the pressure on. The players inner circle even manipulated social media channels announcing "news" that Real Madrid had signed the player to later eliminate the comment & claim they were hacked. 

The truth is that Real Madrid & Coach Ancelotti did not want Falcao. Not the profile needed, the team does not play to wingers crosses into a heading centre forward. Karim Benzema is their chosen Centre Forward, the Frenchman is undisputed & with a more creative, back playing & setting up wingers profile. The team did not wish a "super star" - Falcao - to ruffle the dressing room feathers with sitting on the bench whining & a huge super salary. All this plus a recent knee injury that placed "doubts", even Man Utd. made Falcao pass twice a medical exam due to his knee before announcing his signing.

Falcao could have ended up earlier in Real Madrid, but chose Monaco for the money, 14M€ a year. This is a fact.

The truth is that the player is not being to honest about things with his comments - & his fathers comments to media. The tragedy for Falcao is that his decisions again will not allow him to be seen in any European competition indicating at the very least, bad strategic planning. Or does it? He does have his money after all.

Lastly talking about money & "dishonesty", we have been delivered on a nearly daily basis personal comments from ex Real Madrid player Angel Di Maria with certain "nastiness" aimed at his ex Club. The now Manchester United player expressed in a "bitter" letter to Spanish media & again in media interview that:

• he never wished to leave Real Madrid,
• it had to do about being appreciated & valued by the Club,
• that he was pushed out by Club Directives, especially Club President Perez.

The truth is, that Angel Di Maria wanted 8M€/year salary & the Club offered 6M€. Added to this the Argentine did not look at favourably the arrivals of Gareth Bale & later James Rodriguez with better fanfare, salary conditions & ... more competition for the midfield positions. What is also conveniently forgotten by the player were the continual "poker stances" with the Club, a deliberated "go slow" attitude on the field to pressure for his demands, & messages to the Real Madrid stadium & their members with "touch my balls" gestures & sobbing substitutions gestures. Overall not very professional.   

In both cases this summer - Falcao & Di Maria - Real Madrid was being pressured by their shared representative Jorge Mendes who distorted Sporting contacts & Football media around Europe to manipulate public opinion - especially the Real Madrid fan base - to give into his players demands.  In the end Real Madrid chose to stand firm, sanitize their financial balance sheets & send a clear message internally that no player is bigger than the Institution, the Club will not be "pressured". 

I finish with those other players who recently attempted a similar "dangerous" strategy of pushing Real Madrid to the limits & lost. The names of ex Real Madrid players like Robinho, Higuain & Ozil - just to mention three - comes to mind, players that have now lost World Football exposure & prestige. Their inner circles claim "in privately" that perhaps they made the wrong decision. They did get their money of course, but left the biggest Club in World Football. They decided to step down from the Football Olympus voluntarily after dedicating their Football life to achieve it. Falcao was close & Di Maria may join the long list of players full of later regrets. The money will soften the blow, but we the public need to be "smart" enough to distinguish between reality from player manufactured illusions. A practice as old as the devil himself.

REAL MADRID ANGEL DI MARIA WILL GO TO MANCHESTER UNITED

The future of Argentine & Real Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria has been settled. English Premier League Club Manchester United will be - awaiting official announcement - the new destination & Football home for the player.

The transfer figures vary between those media sources that say 75M€ plus 15M€ more in variables & others who go higher with a 80M€ figure. In any case it the biggest transfer figure in the History of the Spanish Football Club & Di Maria finally gets his desire to earn 8M€/season. 

The player called everyone's attention last Thursday when he was surprisingly left out of the Real Madrid squad for the 2 leg Super Cup game against Atletico de Madrid. This caused a run of speculation & rumours all leading down the Manchester United path. Yesterday, the suspicion was practically confirmed as a reality when Di Maria went to the Real Madrid training session to say goodbye to all his team-mates. Quickly Real Madrid players expressed their "best wishes" via their social media accounts, with Xabi Alonso & Marcelo being the more talked about wishing Di Maria good luck at his new Club. 

It is expected that the Argentine flies to Manchester today for the habitual medical exam & later contract signing with presentation. The official announcement between Clubs on the Di Maria transfer is hours away.

ANGEL DI MARIA WANTS TO LEAVE REAL MADRID

Argentine International & Real Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria is unique in World Soccer. The player has evolved & matured into a "Total Football Player", the type most Coaches dream of having in their squad. Angel Di Maria attacks, passes, scores goal &, here is his speciality, defends with tireless running that keeps the team in equilibrium. A revolutionary that can win a stalemate match in minutes.

So why is everyone convinced that Angel Di Maria will leave Real Madrid ?

The truth is that it is the player who desires to leave the Club. Official reason is that Di Maria does not feel appreciated, or said differently & less diplomatically, wants more money. The player has asked for 8M€/season but the Club only offers 5M€/season. Here is the current impasse & the state of things. 

Angel Di Maria wants out, & in doing so breaks the Real Madrid Club culture & President Florentino prerequisite to stay at the Club: a personal desire to belong. The Real Madrid team-mates also considers Di Maria an important member & are trying to convince the Argentine to stay, but apparent neither have worked. Angel Di Maria knows that Gareth Bale & now James Rodriguez are considered more playing starters for obvious reasons (according to Di Maria) & does not want to be a second or third playing fiddler. 

Current speculated news is that English Club Manchester United is preparing a big offer of around 70M€ to bring over the Real Madrid player before the closing of the Summer transfer window on the 31st of August. Will it happen? The Real Madrid fan-base gave the player a stadium lifting roar of encouragement & warmth when he came on in the 75th min of the Spanish Super Cup against At. Madrid last Tuesday. However, Di Maria does not want fan-base "warmth" as such but financial heat & secure playing time.

PARIS ST GERMAIN WILLING to PAY 80M€ FOR ANGEL DI MARIA ?

Real Madrid Coach Ancelotti was clear when asked about Argentine midfielder Angel Di Maria... "I have no news concerning a possible transfer & expect the incorporation of Angel Di Maria to the squad for pre-season the 5th of August". The truth is that Carlo Ancelotti hopes things will change course as Di Maria looks more closer to joining Paris St Germain than reuniting with his current Real Madrid team-mates. The Argentine wants "out" & his "situation" settled before the 5th of August.

Latest news indicates that Di Maria & Paris St. Germain already have a deal settled. The French Club is willing to pay the 8M€/season salary that Real Madrid is not. Apart, Paris St Germain is also willing to pay Real Madrid between 75-80M€ in transfer fee which makes it hard for the Spanish Football Club to say no. If the deal goes through Angel Di Maria would become the highest (biggest) transfer deal in the History of Real Madrid. It is no secret that Club Directives look favourably at the possibility as the "fresh cash"will cover most of the already big signings, James Rodriguez in particular.

Football observers indicate that the official deal & announcement could be within days as PSG need before to transfer either Pastore, Lavezzi or another to stay within the "UEFA Financial Fairplay" limits. Said all of the above the operation could be totally halted if Carlo Ancelotti real puts his foot down & forces his will upon the Club. But can anyone resist the close to 80M€? Can Ancelotti guarantee a regular place to Di Maria in the midfield this coming season?

JAMES RODRIGUEZ CLOSER TO REAL MADRID

In Football nothing is impossible, & with Real Madrid it seems the slogan is the same. What started as a media driven clamour has turned into a real transfer possibility according to the major Football papers. Yesterday French daily "L´Equipe" wrote that Monaco & Colombian International JAMES RODRIGUEZ was very close to signing for Real Madrid CF. In fact, the French paper speculated that next Monday could be the day that things could be official. 

Today Spanish Sports daily "Marca" gives details of the negotiations. Real Madrid & James Rodriguez have an apparent agreement which consists of a 5 year contract at 8M€/season. According to the same source Monaco & Real Madrid are negotiating with the former asking for 85M€ while the latter offers 75M€. Thus the front cover of today's "Marca" saying "...just 10M€ away from Madrid".  Other media sources add that Real Madrid could include a player in the operation to lower the Monaco price, like goalkeeper Diego Lopez, but I personally doubt that Lopez will accept. However, if Real Madrid signs Keylor Navas - Levante & Costa Rica goalie - they may offer Navas out to Monaco on loan for a season. An interesting option which may interest. 

The possibilities of James Rodriguez landing at Real Madrid depends on Argentine International Angel Di Maria being transferred. Real Madrid Coach Ancelotti is against selling Di Maria but the player is determined to leave after the Spanish Club refuses to lift his economic conditions. The Argentine has offers with Paris St Germain apparently a firm candidate with a 60M€ + offer that would go to buy James Rodriguez from Monaco.

But there are more signs that indicate a James Rodriguez signing by Real Madrid as published by Spanish Sports paper "AS":

• Real Madrid has assigned a room at "Valdebebas" (their training HQ) already to James Rodriguez, room 110 between Benzema (Nº9) & Bale (Nº11),
• James Rodriguez will have the Nº10 on his shirt,
• Real Madrid is currently looking for a home for James Rodriguez & his family in Madrid.

The transfer will be official once Real Madrid announce officially the transfer of Angel Di Maria.

As you can read (& see) things have raced since we first speculated a possible Real Madrid interest for James Rodriguez. In fact it looks a certain reality & a question of days. Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID - JAMES RODRIGUEZ AGREEMENT ?

The following news piece comes out of Spanish Sports daily "AS". The fanfare could be a paper selling tactic however the news in itself has been gaining "speaker volume" over the past days. According to the media source Real Madrid has come to an agreement with Colombian International & World Cup sensation James Rodriguez. The player would receive a salary of 7,5M€ /season & Real Madrid now needs to negotiate with Monaco to seal the operation. 

News yesterday mentioned that rival FC Barcelona had entered the picture with a 90M€ bid to "complicate" the plans of Real Madrid soliciting the player for 2015, but it seems that the Monaco forward has only "eyes" for the Madrid Club & for this new season.

Monaco owner Rybolovlev started high in his price around 100M€ + mark but Real Madrid has managed to lower the price to around 80M€ & could further lower it to 70M€ including a player in the operation. Monaco asked for Pepe or Coentrao but both were rejected, however young Brazilian Casemiro likes & is valued at 10M€ which would make the operation 70M€ in cash + Casemiro 10M€ = 80M€. 

Real Madrid is expected to sell in the coming days Argentine International Angel Di Maria to Paris St. Germain for around 60M€, money which will be used for the James Rodriguez operation.

JAMES RODRIGUEZ | ANGEL DI MARIA OUT FIRST FROM REAL MADRID

It started off as media generated hype,  but slowly the idea of Colombian International & Monaco 22 year old forward JAMES RODRIGUEZ ending up next season at Real Madrid is gaining credibility. The fact that James Rodriguez publicly voiced his dream to play at Real Madrid has opened the doors of the Spanish Football Club as President Florentino Perez always wants the "Best" & tacitly requires that candidates openly voice the "love" to the Club beforehand. 

Today Spanish Sports daily "AS" writes that Monaco has put its price on their player for a possible transfer operation, a cool 80M€! The World Cup performance of James Rodriguez has sky-rocketed his market price from the 45M€ that Monaco paid Porto last season. However, Real Madrid could lower this initial price to around 65-70M€ if the player pressures his exit & Real Madrid includes some of its players into the operation. Monaco is interested in goalkeeper Diego Lopez, Coentrao, Casimiro & Alvaro Morata. 

Before a possible James Rodriguez landing at Real Madrid a midfielder with similar characteristics has to leave. At this moment the candidate looks like being Argentine International ANGEL DI MARIA, its the players choice because Real Madrid Coach Ancelotti wishes the player to stay. The Spanish Football Club has already big offers of around 60-70M€ from Manchester United & Paris St Germain, with other said interest from Manchester City, Monaco & Arsenal.

If Real Madrid sells Di Maria the Club would have the money to go after James Rodriguez & the Colombian a position to work for at Real Madrid. A position that will be competitive as James Rodriguez will have to compete with Isco a rising World Football talent in his own right & destined to be a regular in the Spanish National Team.

MANCHESTER UNITED EYES ANGEL DI MARIA

While Argentine International is on duty with his Nation at the World Cup, locally the rumours increase that ANGEL DI MARIA is looking to force his exit for Real Madrid CF. Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti is not in favour of letting go the midfielder, but the Argentine is "rubbing up the wrong way" the Real Madrid Directives with comments & behaviour. A situation which is not new at all & has been ongoing for the last 18 months.

In a nutshell, Di Maria wants more money, but Real Madrid are not willing to renegotiate his contract. The pulling & easing from Di Maria has feed-up the Club & the latter has put a 50M€ + price tag for bidding & interested Clubs.

The Clubs that are most sounding is Monaco & Juventus FC, but in the last days English Premier League Club Manchester United has entered the picture. According to the English paper "Daily Star" Manchester United is willing to put up the 50M€ to take the Argentine over to "Old Trafford".

The exit of Di Maria opens the door to Colombian International & World Cup sensation James Rodriguez. The money from Di Maria would be channelled to attempt to sign the Monaco player. That´s what Real Madrid may be thinking, what Monaco may be thinking is another story. I have no doubt that Monaco will not be opening the door or making things easy for James Rodriguez to leave. REAL MADRID NEWS | ANGEL DI MARIA WANTS TO LEAVE

The Angel Di Maria musical chairs game is back on at Real Madrid. I am happy, I am sad, I want to stay, I wish to leave, I am unhappy, I am sad... its been like this for years with Di Maria. The Spanish Sports paper "AS" publishes today that the Argentine International midfielder has communicated to Real Madrid that he would like to leave. The reason? He feels the Club does not value him as he would wish. What does this mean? Simply said, Angel Di Maria wants more money. 

There are big Clubs obviously interested, like Juventus FC, Manchester United, Paris St Germain & Monaco. Insiders say that Real Madrid would sell their player for a figure around the 50M€.

The words from Angel Di Maria yesterday saying that his National team-mate Lionel Messi was the Nº1 player of World Football, has been interpreted as a indirect "attack" on his Club team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in order to force the Clubs doors to open up for an exit.

With the possible transfer of Angel Di Maria, speculation has grown over which player will be the possible substitute. The name being "thrown around" is the current World Cup Colombian sensation 22 year James Rodriguez. Although this is a rumour, it is more a fan & local media generated desire & hype,  & as for now there is nothing official from a Club perspective.

The only real names sounding as possible signings for next year for Real Madrid at this moment are Bayern Munich midfielder Toni  Kroos & Monaco forward Radamel Falcao.

THE MANCHESTER CITY-MONACO-REAL MADRID-FALCAO-MENDES MADRID DINNER

Curious & attention grabbing event last night in Madrid. The background is the following, a dinner in one of Madrid´s famous restaurants with the following guests all around the same table:

• Falcao ( Player of Monaco )
• Jorge Mendes ( representative of Falcao - & Di Maria )
• Txiki Begiristain ( Football Director of Manchester City)
• Dmitry Rybolovlev ( Owner of Monaco )
• Peter Lim ( Asian Magnate )
• Florentino Perez ( President of Real Madrid CF )

Real Madrid President Florentino Perez joined the dinner last & stayed for around 20 minutes according to the insiders. Obviously this has lead to all types of speculations & Football rumour. What surprises me was that it was not exactly a very "private" place to keep things under wraps, except if those involved wanted to deviate information & let us all into a dead end.

Whatever the true reasons, the local Football observers have put forward this interesting theory that has to do with transfers & signings next season. Real Madrid would transfer Di Maria over to Monaco, in return Monaco would transfer Radamel Falcao to Manchester City which finally, Manchester City would transfer Sergio Aguero to Real Madrid.  Wooow, right?

The fact is we don't know, just that the dinner did occur last night in a Madrid restaurant with all the mentioned European Football "Heavyweights". Stay tuned!

ANGEL DI MARIA "GRABS HIS BALLS" & HIS FUTURE AT REAL MADRID

Just got back home after a few more days off enjoying the last end of the Festive Season. My relative surprise was to see todays Spanish Sports papers in complete unison after a Football Player grabbed his nuts. 

Now you may think that grabbing ones "balls" is a fairly common masculine habit, you are correct, but that "primitive" action magnifies itself if you're Real Madrid player Angel Di Maria, just been signalled to get off to be substituted & you get onto your balls in front of local Real Madrid 40.000 fans.

In fact the 40.000 fans & millions of TV spectators interpreted Di Maria as "telling" the crowd to "grab this ... & like it" as he was severely whistled off the ground during the substitute. The Argentine midfielder is losing credit at Real Madrid & with Fans after weeks of "rebellious signals" which are also interpreted as looking to find a way out of the Club in this "Winter Market".

The player himself denied it all to "Fox Sport Radio" & said that he did not salute the home crowd & that he was only "replacing the Family Jewels" in a more comfortable position. The image above indicates Di Maria has "Elephants Balls" & the the weight is immense. The latest excuses & gestures from Angel Di Maria have fallen short of their objectives as locally everyone knows that the player is looking to "provoke" his exit from the Club. The Argentine supposedly had a mega-offer from French Club Monaco to which Real Madrid answered with a "Not for Sale" sign. Supposedly there are currently other offers ( example, Juventus ) which the player is using as leverage & is dangerous playing with fire.

So much so, that the Club is studying an internal punishment with fine for the player. The Club could go further if provoked again by leaving Di Maria out & sitting in the stadium seats until the end of year, thus putting in danger his World Cup 2014 place with Argentina. What ever action taken ( or finally not ) the Argentine has placed a "X" mark on his own face; this could be the strategy of the player, but if this is the case, its is extremely low & a very unprofessional manner to go about things which will blemish his career & reputation.

The player denies everything, he says that it is Spanish media that are working to tarnish his image & are distorting his words. In any case, the days ( or months ) of Di Maria at Real Madrid are now counted & on one doubts that the Club will "kick him out" soon & at the Best possible market price. 

LATEST: Angel Di Maria has publicly apologized if he offended anyone. He maintains his innocence & that things have been taken out of context. However, I feel the player has already damaged beyond repair his credit. Only a Champions League Final winning goal can save him, & I don´t see Real Madrid reaching the Final this season.

REAL MADRID DI MARIA TO LEAVE FOR MONACO ?

Months back the Argentine International & Real Madrid player Angel Di Maria was praised for his determination to stay at the Spanish Football Club even though his regularity was in question. The arrival of Gareth Bale has "displaced" some players with German Ozil taking the decision of going to Arsenal to maintain his playing time. Di Maria months back took the decision to stay at Real Madrid & "fight" for his place to which many praised as showing character.

Well this character has buckled to pressure. The quick adaptation of Gareth Bale with goals included seems to have convinced Di Maria that it maybe better to move on elsewhere if he is to have regular playing time with the 2014 World Cup around the corner. I say its seems because Spanish Sports papers announce that there could be an agreement for the Argentine International to leave in the "Winter Transfer Market" to Monaco.

Monaco & Di Maria apparently have a 35M€ transfer fee agreement to leave Real Madrid. Plus Monaco offers a higher salary to Di Maria to make the move more smooth & less "painful". The only element that can halt the operation is Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti who will have the final say in the matter. The Argentine asks for more playing time something that perhaps Ancelotti cannot guarantee.

ARSENAL MAKES A 30M€ OFFER TO REAL MADRID FOR DI MARIA ?

The imminent arrival of current Tottenham Hotspurs player Gareth Bale to Real Madrid will force changes at the Spanish Football Club. There is currently a midfield "overbooking" situation where not everyone can play & most big European Clubs know it. 

English Premier League Club Arsenal FC is said to already have made its move. First it was a speculated offer for forward Karim Benzema which was rejected by representative comments this weekend. Now the news from Spanish Sports papers is a 30M€ initial offer for Argentine International Angel Di Maria.

Weeks back the talk around town was that Di Maria saw himself more in than out at Real Madrid. However, Real Madrid is said to be looking at the Arsenal FC offer with positive eyes & that it is a viable option. The only difficulty is the player, Angel Di Maria, who has just one week to think about it as the transfer window shuts the 2nd of September. Plus few players really desire to leave a Club like Real Madrid & finally leave after a dose of "reality shock" that sometime takes longer than a week to occur.

Staying at Real Madrid another midfielder who anticipates that Gareth Bale arrival will have a negative impact on his playing chances is German International Mesut Ozil who is said to be thinking seriously a move. Some local Football observers claim that he could be soliciting that the Club facilitate his exit. A rumour is currently doing the rounds that Manchester United could be in the shadows. Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID TO RECEIVE MANCHESTER UNITED OFFER FOR OZIL ?

English Club Manchester United is looking "desperately" for a World Class midfielder & play-maker.  Their number one priority FC Barcelona Cesc Fabregas has declined their offer & the "Plan B" widely commented locally is called Mesut Ozil.

Spanish Sports media is speculating that Manchester United will be making a 45M€ offer to Real Madrid for its German International. At first glance one may think that Real Madrid & the player will decline the offer, but it could be more viable than one thinks. 

The imminent arrival of Tottenham Hotspurs player Gareth Bale to Real Madrid will have effects on the squad which include the necessity of finding a "space" for the Welshman in the current team set up. The arrival of Bale will displace,  or worst,  sideline players like Ozil, & the German with a World Cup coming up next year wants to play, & play regularly.
Ozil knows that Bale will affect his regularity & may look positively at the United offer. 

Real Madrid also will seriously think about the 45M€ ( or more, if negotiated ) offered as the Club will want to "soften" the financial balance book impact of the almost 100M€ transfer payment to Tottenham Hotspurs for Gareth Bale. 

Lastly, while on transfers & Real Madrid, another midfielder may also soon leave the Spanish Football Club. It is expected that Real Madrid will receive an interesting offer for Argentine International Angel Di Maria. The speculated Club interested is Paris St Germain although there could be another.  Selling Di Maria would ease the current "midfield congestion" within the team squad & help pay the Bale transfer operation.

All the above is speculation, bear this in mind. However, stay tuned as things may jump out to light within days. Remember, the transfer opportunity "window" shuts the 2nd of September.

REAL MADRID | "MIDFIELD OVERBOOKNG" - THE NEWCOMERS PLUS BALE EFFECT

Real Madrid has an "overbooking" situation especially in the midfield area. Have a look at the current squad names Xabi Alonso, Casemiro, Illaramendi, Khedira, Ozil, Modric, Isco...lets also add Angel Di Maria as well. As you can clearly see not everyone can play & on top of it all  next year is FIFA World Cup time & everyone needs to play to secure a spot on their National Teams.

If we add to this the most probable arrival of Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspurs we have a clear "problem" that can only be solved with exits. It is unfortunate for some but Real Madrid is betting on local young talent & those they have/will pay big money to get over.

News from France, "Le Parisien", comments that Paris St Germain is interested in the services of Angel Di Maria. The arrival of Gareth Bale would relegate the Argentine International to a second level. PSG is awaiting for a reaction from Di Maria who in turn is waiting for the final solution & conclusion in the "Bale Operation". We can assume that Real Madrid is not big enough for two "heart creators" :O)

Another rumour floating around locally is that Manchester United has placed its eyes on Mesut Ozil. The English Football giant has FC Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabragas as its prime objective but things are turning out to be more difficult than expected & Ozil may be a solution. Some Football insiders claim that Real Madrid may receive a 45M€ offer for the German International next week. Again, if this story is true, the "midfield overbooking" situation may play a role in the final decision.

Lastly, staying with the Real Madrid midfield , German International Khedira is not so sure about keeping his position this season with all the competition that has arrived. The German is looking & scouting other Clubs as his idea is a possible exit. The German will talk to his Coach Ancelotti to know exactly what to expect this season, but meanwhile Clubs like Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC,  Borussia Dortmund & Wolfsburg are interested to know what final decision Khedira will take: stay or move.

MANCHESTER CITY COACH PELLEGRINI WANTS REAL MADRID DI MARIA

The Manchester City new Coach Manuel Pellegrini has clear ideas on how he wishes the English Club to play their Football. With the signing of Sevilla FC & Spanish International winger Jesus Navas, it was clear that pace & "opening up the field" will be important i his scheme. With a right-side winger secured Coach Pelligrini needs to sure up the left side with a class player, & that player is Real Madrid Argentine International Angel Di Maria.

News out of England via the paper "Daily Mirror" comments that the Manchester City Coach has asked the Club specifically to attempt the signing of Di Maria. The initial speculated offer is 35M€ but Real Madrid will not drop below 40M€ for starters. This has lead to rumours that Manchester City "top brass" are expected to fly over to Madrid to begin the initial negotiations with Real Madrid.

The signing will not be easy at all. The expected new Coach of Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti counts with Angel Di Maria for next season. Plus, the player expressed to Argentine press ("Ole") that he was very happy at Real Madrid & wishes to continue at the Club.

As with all the top World Football players apart from Manchester City, there have been continuing rumours of interest from Paris St Germain, Monaco & Manchester United. I will keep an eye on proceeding with Di Maria & inform of developments.

REAL MADRID | ANGEL DI MARIA CLOSE TO PARIS ST GERMAIN ?

It has been speculated for months that Real Madrid Argentine forward Angel Di Maria could be sold at the end of this season. The player has offers & Real Madrid needs to fill the bank account if they desire to sign big names some of which are costly like Gareth Bale, Cavani etc.

Portuguese press, "A Bola",  make echo of the real possibility of Di Maria signing for Paris St Germain for an offer of around 25M€. Manchester United & Chelsea FC are also said to be hoovering around the winger but the French side is in a favourable front position.

The exit of Di Maria would leave vacant a position that would suit very well Sevilla FC & Spanish International winger Jesus Navas, an old favourite of President Florentino & of the Real Madrid "top brass". Navas has interest from Manchester City but the winger has voiced his preference to stay & play at Real Madrid.

To end, Spanish Sports paper "AS" adds that the arrival of Di Maria to PSG at "reasonable" conditions would ease the "release" of PSG Coach Ancelotti towards Real Madrid. Stay tuned!

INTER MILAN FOCUSES ON REAL MADRID DI MARIA ?

This is a very brief post that picks up news from Italy, concretely from "Il Corriere dello Sport". According to the Italian paper INTER MILAN will be going after REAL MADRID Argentine International DI MARIA this summer.

This option would be easier for the Italian Club if Coach Mourinho does leave at the ed of the season as some speculate.

The paper advances that Di Maria has already moved pieces & contacts regularly with Argentine & Inter player Javier Zanetti to interchange impressions on Italian Football & more specifically on Inter Milan.

Di Maria has fallen out of grace with his current Coach Mourinho & may be upset with his marginalization. Other Clubs have seen an opportunity & PSG & Manchester United have sent out signals to see if they get response. Real Madrid may wish to sell & take the money this summer.  Real does have Gareth Bale of Tottenham in mind. Anything is possible.

REAL MADRID PREPARING OFFER FOR GARETH BALE?

The name of Welsh & TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS player GARETH BALE keeps sounding strong in Spain as the weeks advance. It was a whisper last season & continually grew to a murmur to now become a talked about rumour that is well heard & being passed around.

REAL MADRID CF has its eyes firmly on Bale & here we have reported this many times in past posts. Now English paper "The Guardian" writes that the Spanish Football giant is preparing a transfer-signing offer for the player.

The Tottenham winger has already 13 goals this season & most of the big European Clubs are following closely the player. The English Club will have it difficult to retain their star next season if the Club cannot finish in Champions League positions. The Welshman has already said publicly that his hero is Cristiano Ronaldo & to play alongside the Real Madrid star would be a dream.

The Bale rumour leads to another question, is Real Madrid player DI MARIA on the way out? The Argentine is being signalled out by Coach Mourinho as one of the players not giving his full 100% to the team. Mourinho has left out the Argentine for tomorrows Liga match against Sevilla FC & the fall out is leading to speculation that Di Maria could be moving next season.

REAL MADRID | DI MARIA CLOSE ACCORDING TO PORTUGUESE MEDIA

The saying goes the following way in giving credibility to a sure winning bet… “It Comes Straight From The Horses Mouth”. In this case the “horse” ( metaphorically speaking ) is the country Portugal where its Champion Team BENFICA is located in its capital city Lisbon & where Argentine International & already mentioned Club player ANGEL DI MARIA is ongoing hot news.

Speculation has been ripe for weeks concerning the interest that REAL MADRID has towards the young Benfica winger. Today the Portuguese paper “Record” publishes that there is a principal agreement between Benfica & Real Madrid for the transfer of Di Maria for next season. The contract release clause is of 40M€ but the Spanish Club considers this to be too high & has added the possibility of including some players in the operation (a list from Drenthe, M Diarra, Garay & Gago). The paper goes further to add that Real Madrid wishes to shut the deal 100% before the start of the World Cup. The interest of Italian Club Juventus in these last days has also accelerated the negotiations between the Spanish Club & Benfica which explains the “sudden rush”.

Lastly, if all this is really true & Di Maria does finally sign for Real Madrid, one may conclude that the David Silva (Valencia CF) & Jesus Navas ( Sevilla FC) options will be shut. That would be the logical assumption...in an illogical Football World...or vice versa Tweet
