FC BARCELONA NEW UNIFORMS SEASON 2013 - 2014

Just bought yourself this season FC Barcelona shirt - uniform? After forking out between 80 - 100 € for an official version it must look great, correct? Well marketing speaking, you have just been "rolled", your old news, old school & behind the times.

FC Barcelona has presented its season 2013 - 2014 new uniform for home & away matches as we can see below. In fact, it does not differ radically much from previous seasons except the away look & that they have a new sponsor.

However, if your one to want to be with the latest & right in the groove begin saving your bucks. The other alternatives are to look through the Internet,   there are some interesting cheap uniforms coming out of China. I believe the Chinese have the collection rearing to go before the official is in the stores :O)

FC BARCELONA NEW UNIFORM TOPS FOR 2013 - 2014

So you just bought yourself the lastest FC Barcelona shirt for 80 - 90 € & you look sharp. Well in a couple of months you will be "old school" as FC Barcelona will have a new line -up of gear. Spanish Sports Barcelona based daily "Sport" has let known in advance how FC Barcelona will look next season. 

As you can see Barça regain their "old" look with strips & the black away from home shirt which was popular in its day. As you know already its a marketing strategy to keep changing shirt designs & player numbers in order to encourage the million of fans around the World to change, or better said buy, with the newer look.

You may also notice that the sponsor will also change from a "Foundation" to an "Airline".

So get your 90 € saved & run out soon to your local Sports store to keep looking sharp. I personally enjoy wearing the past & old uniforms, but that is just me.

SPAIN NEW ALL RED UNIFORM AGAINST FRANCE

Thought it maybe of interest to the readers. The Spanish National Football Team will try out a "new look" uniform against France tonight in their Group I World Cup 2014 Qualifier. Well its not exactly new, the novelty is that Spain will dress with red shorts - a first in its History - which will give Spain an all Red aspect. Below is a picture of how Spain will look tonight in Paris

Strong colour that remains us of fire, energy & passion. Three adjectives that we all hope here in Spain that the National Football Team will carry & show against France in a must win game to secure top spot of the Group.

Amazes me how the issue of a uniform change can generate so much news & how the fans (naturally) take it on so seriously. The FC Barcelona Marketing department must be smiling knowing the fans have to rush out ( just before  Champions League Final) to get the "new design" & fork out around 80-90€ per shirt.

ATLETICO DE MADRID | NEW "LOOK" UNIFORM DESIGN SEASON 2011 - 2012

Hi guys, Happy 2011 to all.


Seen this piece of news in Spanish Sports daily "As" whom in turn picked it up from Dutch website "footballshirtculture.com", the later specialized in the following news items. The multi-national that sponsors the ATLETICO DE MADRID uniform ( along with Arsenal, FC Barcelona...etc) has designed, proposed to the Club & apparently been accepted the "new-look" uniform for the 2011-2012.

The first visual impact is "rejection" from my end as it breaks with tradition, but hold on, this does not mean that I´m a conservative "old" foe. I suppose that it will grow on me with time as there are more lines & the neck is circular. Apart from appearance,  the seasonal changes of uniform kit designs are marketing tools now used to keep shirt sales healthy & ongoing.


According to the some news source FC BARCELONA ( with the same sponsor ) will also experience a "kit" design change very similar to the At.Madrid changes. I imagine that the immediate effects will be the same as with me in that you (like myself)  are not accustomed to such "radical" breaks in looks.

REAL MADRID | NEW UNIFORM 2010 - 2011 & TV SPOT

REAL MADRID via one of its main sponsors release this TV spot to coincide with the launch of the new 2010-2011 uniform, & while at it, heal some hurt pride suffered during season 2009-2010 & restore faith in the Club for the new upcoming season under Coach José Mourinho. Part of this is, of course, continued Marketing & brand consolidation as this video goes viral as it’s passed around by interested & fans alike. I post it up here for the interested Spanish Football Sports Blog readers around the World who follow the Club & may get a pleasant kick out of watching it. The motive is purely informative as I know that I indirectly give a hand to the Sports Company which is not my intention, but succumb in the greater interest.

The Video shows Club members recalling the glorious history of the Club from the 60s right up till now finishing with the slogan “Together We Are Bigger” , then a few seconds showing off the new look uniform. It’s in Spanish but its fairly “universal” …

FC Barcelona recently presented their new uniform with the presentation of new signing David Villa & ATLETICO DE MADRID used the presentation today of their new signing , the ex-Arsenal midfielder FRAN MERIDA, to show off their next season home & away uniforms.

SPAIN WILL DEBUT AGAINST FRANCE WITH NEW "AWAY" OUTFIT

SPAIN with debut with its "new away outfit" tomorrow night against France in their International Friendly game in Paris. Below is the new shirt that goes recovers its darker traditional blue with "retro" elements from 1964 Euro Cup Champions side & the 1998 World Cup team.
