LIONEL MESSI IS THE MOST VALUABLE FOOTBALL PLAYER IN WORLD SOCCER FOR 2013

A great way to get media coverage is to release studies that call the attention of everyone, especially news hungry media. Brazilian Sports Consultancy firm, "Pluri Consultoria", has released their report focusing on the "Most valuable Football - Soccer Player in the World" for 2013. The figures are debatable as the term "value" has been questioned & redefined by philosophers & economist for 000s of the last years.  

Leaving Plato, Adam Smith, Keynes & Friedmann to one side, according to this Consultancy firm, Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona is the most valuable Football player in World Soccer last year with a "market price" of 138, 1 M€. The Argentine is followed by the recently awarded "FIFA - France Football Golden Ball 2013" & Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo.

The first Spanish player to appear in the list is Chelsea FC midfielder Juan Mata in 10th place with a 47, 1 M€ figure.

The most valuable Top 5 World Football Players for 2013:

1. Leo Messi (FC Barcelona) 138,1 M €
2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid CF) 107,3 M€ 
3. Gareth Bale (Real Madrid CF) 71,3 M€ 
4. Neymar (FC Barcelona) 67,4 M€
5. Gotze (Bayern Munich) 60,3 M€.

Big money for top players, in this sense, I think we all agree. The rest is arguable & at least people have now heard for the first time that their is a Brazilian Consultancy that does these types of valuations.

DE GEA - MATA INCLUDED IN THE ENGLISH PREMIER IDEAL 11

The "PFA" - Professional Football Association - of the English Premier League has voted their "Ideal 11" for season 2012- 2013. The distinction is great in that the voting comes from your peers in the "Best 11 of the English Premier League". 

The player most valued by his peers is Gareth Bale of Tottenham Hotspurs. This player as we all know is a Real Madrid CF target for next season. 

The good & proud news for Spanish Soccer - Football is the inclusion of two Spanish Football Players & Internationals doing their jobs in the English Premier League: David De Gea & Juan Mata.

Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea was voted by his peers as the "Best Goalkeeper" for season 2012-2013. Excellent distinction for a young player who started his career at Manchester United in a nervous & criticised fashion. The adaptation process was difficult for young De Gea who had to adapt his game & gain some muscle for English Football. The player has now overcome criticisms & gained the confidence of his Coach Ferguson to be a regular in the team. 

Second Spaniard is Juan Mata for Chelsea FC. His natural talent has never been questioned. The player just keeps evolving & getting better season after season to become a vital asset for his team. From a local perspective I believe Spanish Football Team Coach Del Bosque should take note & find a regular place on the Spanish Team for Mata.

ARSENAL CLOSE TO SIGNING VALENCIA -SPANISH FOOTBALL INTERNATIONAL JUAN MATA

Spanish Football International & VALENCIA CF forward JUAN MATA is very, very close to landing at English Premier League Club ARSENAL FC. The operation is still not shut because TOTTEHHAM has made a last minute offer which has made the selling Club think along with the player. There is another English Premier League Club interested & they are LIVERPOOL FC, however it is Arsenal who is in the box seat with a the superior offer of around 18M GBP.

Juan Mata is considered to be one of Spanish Football´s great young talents & still is evolving in his Football Arts. If Arsenal do manage to sign Mata they will be happy because as the Americans say...pound per pound this lad is top quality , & looking at the price a true bargain.

This signing could be the door the allows the frustrated Arsenal Captain Cesc Fabregas to sign with FC Barcelona , although Mata does not play exactly in the position of Fabragas.

FC BARCELONA TRANSFER NEWS 2010 | TOURE TO MANCHESTER CITY | JUAN MATA PREFERRED OVER ROBINHO

FC BARCELONA is looking for a class “winger” to replace Thierry Henry & accompany new signing David Villa in their forward line next season. Two names had been circling the office tables at “Camp Barça”: 26 year old Brazilian International & Manchester City player ROBINHO & 22 year old Valencia CF & Spanish International JUAN MATA.

According to Barcelona radio station “Onda Cero” the chosen player is JUAN MATA & FC Barcelona may have already come to an agreement for the transfer of the player for around 20M€ with a 5 year contract. The final decision is reported to have been made by Coach Guardiola who considers Mata an exceptional player with speed, dribbling skills & plenty of goal.

FC BARCELONA has come to an agreement to sell & transfer to MANCHESTER CITY their midfielder & Ivory Coast International player TOURE YAYA for 30M€ plus an extra 2M€ in variable incentives. The powerful midfielder fell out of grace with Barça Coach Guardiola during the past season when he began to pass more time on the bench than on the playing field.

The rumour around Barcelona town is that FC Barcelona will now employ the 32M€ cash inflow to attempt to convince LIVERPOOL FC to sell their Argentine midfielder JAVIER MASCHERANO. The current Argentina National Team Captain has been a long time desire of Coach Guardiola & now the Club sees the opportunity & became the "perfect" substitute for the departed Toure.

FC BARCELONA: CHYGRYNSKIY & MATA NOT FORGOTTEN

FC BARCELONA Coach Guardiola has let known to his superiors that
although he has the “Best Team in the World” he desires a couple
of new signings to guarantee two positions: the central defence & a
left midfielder/winger. According to “Sport” the chosen names are
DMYTRO CHYGRYNSKIY of SHAKHTAR DONETSK as defender &
JUAN MATA of VALENCIA CF as the midfielder/winger.

FC Barcelona has made a 25M€ offer for Chygrynskiy, & the player
himself is putting pressure on his Club. It is expected that Barça &
Shakhtar retake conversations & may settle things at Monaco as
they are to play the European Supercup next Friday. In reference
to Juan Mata, Barça will retake the operation & go back to Valencia
CF with an offer after the latter refused to sell their player earlier
in the month. However, the economic “crisis” at Valencia CF hasn’t
been totally solved & they may now see the Barça offer as a
economic “lifeline".

FC BARCELONA OFFERS 20M€ FOR JUAN MATA OF VALENCIA CF

According to “Marca” FC BARCELONA has made a 20M€ offer for
VALENCIA CF midfielder & Spanish International JUAN MATA. It is
published that the player’s representative will communicate this
to Valencia CF this afternoon & see if they can come to an
agreement.

Valencia CF is in serious economic difficulties & needs to pay its
players part of their salaries, therefore they have a need to sell
players, especially after the Club refused to sell it’s big star David
Villa. With this in mind & the set of circumstances described there
exists a real possibility that Valencia may accept to transfer Mata
to FC Barcelona.

SPANISH NATIONAL TEAM: JUAN MATA SUBSTITUTE FOR INIESTA

The Spanish national squads’ medical team have confirmed the injury of
FC Barcelona midfielder ANDRES INIESTA. The player has torn muscle
fibres that will keep him out of the Spanish Team for the upcoming double
World Cup 2010 qualifying games against Turkey, the first match of which
will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid this upcoming
Saturday.

This has forced Spanish Coach Vicente del Bosque call up from U/21
duties VALENCIA CF youngster JUAN MATA to substitute Iniesta
in the “A-team”. This is not the only injury concerns for Coach Del Bosque,
midfielders Xavi Hernandez & Silva have ankle problems along with David
Villa (knee) & Xabi Alonso (muscle), which the medical team is supervising
& will decide if extra action is needed.
