DAVID SILVA SENDS SIGNALS TO REAL MADRID ?

Could it be really true? Can one really interpret that Spanish International & MANCHESTER CITY 26 year old midfielder DAVID SILVA is making signs to REAL MADRID? Apparently this is the "in-between the lines" speculation by English newspaper "Daily Mirror", which says that the refusal by Silva to renew his contract with City maybe a tactic to pressure his Club.

It is believed, or better said, rumoured that Real Madrid has made a 45M€ offer for Silva to which the English Club has refused. Silva finishes contract with City in 2014 & refusing to renew makes it now the right moment for City to reap in the money as next season his selling figure will "drastically" drop. This type of pressure is often used by the player to at least open some kind of negotiation which was initially non-existent.

Funny thing is that Silva days back voiced his desire to re-sign another 5 years for City. What has changed? Possibly nothing & we as in England are just looking for news where there is none. Or not? Stay tuned, we still have a very long hot summer ahead.

SPECTACULAR WINNING GOAL BY DAVID SILVA FOR MANCHESTER CITY AGAINST BLACKPOOL | 2010 VIDEO

Great to see Spanish International & MANCHESTER CITY midfielder DAVID SILVA be protagonist in the 2 - 3 victory over Blackpool in the English Premier League. In fact, Silva came on as substitute in the 65 th min & ended up scoring the winner in World Class fashion & with a must see to believe goal.

Here is the video of the spectacular goal. This is a calling card that his time on the bench could be coming to an end & that his difficult intial adaptation to England could be bettering so he can finally begin to give all his undoubted Football talent.

DAVID SILVA AGREES TO MANCHESTER CITY OFFER?

The news from insiders, the last couple of weeks, was that VALENCIA CF was negotiating with an overseas Club & that Spanish International midfielder DAVID SILVA was rejecting succulent overseas offers because he wished to stay in Spain. However, the “surprise” news this afternoon is that according to Spanish radio “Onda Cero” - & picked up by local press – David Silva has come to an agreement with MANCHESTER CITY to play there as from next season. The agreement is said to be a 5 year contract for a cool 5M€/ year net in the bank account. What Valencia CF will get in "fresh" transfer cash is speculated to be around 35M€.

It was already known that Valencia CF & Manchester City had come to an economic agreement, but the big unknown was if the player would agree to take up the English offer. In the last hours CHELSEA FC had come into the picture, plus David Silva was also still waiting & hoping to see if REAL MADRID would finally put life into the rumour of their interest, an interest that sadly for the player never materialized.

Finally, if it is true what Spanish radio has announced, David Silva is said to have accepted the Man City offer & thus we now await an official Club announcement to verify the transfer 100%.

MANCHESTER UNITED TEMPTS VILLA & TOTTENHAM TEMPTS SILVA

Correctly put if what Spanish sports daily “As” mentions concerning Spanish National Football Team & VALENCIA CF players DAVID VILLA & DAVID SILVA is correct. The drum beats from England suggest that MANCHESTER UNITED is considering a 52M€ offer for the former & TOTTENHAM is willing to offer 32M€ for the latter, which may “torpedo” some local business.

Both offers are more than the locally rumoured business deals that BARÇA proposes for Villa & REAL MADRID CF for Silva. However, if I had to make a bet I would say comfortably that the FC Barcelona – David Villa deal is almost certain & sealed, while David Silvia has a “real” desire to play at Real Madrid next season. What is certain is that Valencia CF will be forced to sell their two stars in order to get much needed financial “oxygen” as their balance sheet is a disaster.

REAL MADRID: DAVID SILVA BEFORE THE WORLD CUP?

VALENCIA CF & Spanish International midfielder DAVID SILVA is on the list of MANCHESTER UNITED (along with Real Madrid forward Benzema) for next season according to reports coming out of the British press. However, local Sports daily “Marca” has published today that REAL MADRID has David Silva in mind & will return to Valencia to make an offer of around 25M€ which is higher than last time they attempted the signing at the start of the season.

Real Madrid wishes to shut the deal before the World Cup because an “outstanding” performance by Silva will increase the value of the player. Stay tuned! Tweet

DAVID SILVA THE MAN CHOSEN BY BARÇA COACH GUARDIOLA?

The idea that FC BARCELONA forward THIERRY HENRY will decide
to finish his career in the United States is gaining in strength. The
speculation is so credible that Barça is said to be already making the
moves to assure that they will have an appropriate substitute to
cover the left wing position.
























According the Spanish local daily “AS”, Barça Coach Guardiola has put
on the table the name of VALENCIA CF forward DAVID SILVA. The other
alternative would be Valencia team mate JUAN MATA whom Barça
made a 20M€ offer earlier in the season that was rejected, but SILVA is
the Nº1 objective.

However, not as simple as it all sounds:
1. FC Barcelona are heading into Presidential elections
2. Both players have important competitors who will have counter-
offers
3. Relations between Valencia & Barcelona are not good after the
David Villa “incident”

VALENCIA CF: MANCHESTER UNITED THINKS ABOUT DAVID SILVA

Since Cristiano Ronaldo left MANCHESTER UNITED the team hasn´t
found that "extra" something that gives them the edge over their
opponents. It is obvious, you lose the current Best Player in The World,
but with the hugh injection of cash from the sale (94M€) there is room
to buy a suitable replacement.

English media have published that Man Utd. manager/coach Ferguson
has the ideal candidate, Spanish International & VALENCIA CF forward
DAVID SILVA.

The "plan" is to make a 28-30M€ offer to Valencia CF in the "Winter
Transfer Market" which opens the 1st of January 2010. Having
mentioned this the other rumour was that Man Utd would go after
the Brazilian Nº9 LUIS FABIANO of SEVILLA FC, & why not they
have the money right?

This in itself highlights certain "problems" at Man Utd that needs
fixing, like the over dependence on Rooney & that Berbatov is
not "working" out as planned. However, if this is all true & Man Utd
do in fact go after David Silvia, there are a few point to bear in
mind:

1. Does Silva wish to leave Spain for England?
2. Is 30M€ enough? Some would say his youth & class take him
to around 50M€
3. What makes Man Utd think they are the only Club interested in the
player? FC Barcelona is looking for someone like Silva, & what about
Real Madrid if Ribery decides to extend his contract at Bayern & stay.
4. Will Valencia CF want to sell its star? Apparently they are slowly
getting out of their "Financial hole".

REAL MADRID: LATEST ON DAVID VILLA - NEXT WEEK

As you can image the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer to Real Madrid has
dominated all the media with front covers & inner pages that saturate
the news. But there is another REAL MADRID soon to be announced
transfer in the pipeline that is Spanish International DAVID VILLA. All
the media consider that David Villa will soon be a Real Madrid player,
some are saying as some as next week. There is total agreement
between the player & the Club & what is left to negotiate & shut is
the formal agreement with VALENCIA CF. The solid fact which leads
to such optimism is that the player has communicated to Valencia that
he will not move anywhere except to Real Madrid & Valencia MUST
sell Villa due to its disastrous financial situation. It is speculated that
the transfer figure being debated is around 40M€ plus the inclusion of
forward player NEGREDO who was on loan to Almeria last season.

Latest news about another wanted Valencia CF player, DAVID SILVA,
by Real Madrid is that his current Club has announced he is NOT on
sale – for the moment.

REAL MADRID: DAVID VILLA CLOSE WITH SILVA HALTED

With one prime objective achieved – "KAKA" – REAL MADRID continue
working for the rest. Today Spanish sports daily “Marca” put on their
front page an “exclusive”, that REAL MADRID & VALENCIA CF has a
"total agreement" to transfer DAVID VILLA. The supposed & agreed
transfer figure is around 38M€ plus incentives for titles, friendly
games with Real to give TV royalties, etc.

It is speculated – rumoured – that Villa could soon be the next player
that Real Madrid presents officially. However, SFS thinks that this
news maybe premature, as there is a 45M€ offer from Chelsea FC on
the table & new Valencia CF President Manuel Llorente is known
in Football “circles” to not like too much Real Madrid due to
historical frictions that have left scares ( past attempts to take
players away by Real, ej Mendieta & Ayala).

In line with these last thoughts, another player on the Real Madrid
list DAVID SILVA is commented that he will be very difficult to
convince for a transfer. It is written in the media that Silva is a
priority for Valencia & their new President has “stopped”
negotiations to send a signal to Real that they will have to really
fight hard or convince the Club with a huge sum of money that may
not be within the spending marks of the Madrid Club.

SPANISH FOOTBALL BRIEFS: FC BARCELONA, FLORENTINO PEREZ & DAVID SILVA

Hi guys, I am alive. After walking 32 km with a backpack of 10
kilos, I am back hooking up from a online connection in the North
of Spain. My attempt was a fail, as the objective was 75 km, but
as always the experience was much greater than the aim & the
new friends were the real prize. I am recovering now from feet
blisters, leg muscle problems & burnt lips, but here to give the
SFS readers a quick summary of current local events.












What a game yesterday in the SPANISH CUP FINAL. FC
BARCELONA did the job on ATHLETIC DE BILBAO 1-4.
Managed to watch the game on TV & was dazzled, now for the
"Liga" title & who knows the European Cup.










It´s official, Florentino Perez presented himself to a packed media
to announce what we already knew, that he is an official candidate
for the upcoming June REAL MADRID Presidential elections. Did´nt
say much except, that he wishes the team to have more Spaniards
(we suppose people like Villa, Silva, Cesc, Alonso), that Cristiano
Ronaldo is the best ( smells like ...see you here soon) & that Real
will be the team of the 21st Century. More news soon on his signing
/transfer plans next week
















Speaking of DAVID SILVA, the rumour is that LIVERPOOL FC
Coach Rafa Benitez has the VALENCIA CF player in his book of
transfers. He will compite with Real Madrid, Atletico de Madrid
