REVISED FASTEST FOOTBALL - SOCCER PLAYERS IN THE WORLD | FIFA RANKING

Some time ago I published a list by FIFA listing the "Fastest Football Players on the Planet". The current & ongoing FIFA World Cup in Brazil has put on show some of those listed & apparently has lead to modify the list. One devastating example was the opening match of Group B between Spain & Holland, where Arjen Robben reached 37 Km/h to overtake Sergio Ramos & later score. This registered velocity has put Arjen Robben as the "Fastest Footballer in World Soccer" at this moment. I say at the moment because speed has to do with current physical conditions of the players. The differences between Nº 1 & Nº10 are few & can change over weeks & months depending on how the players are in form at any given time.

Below is the current & latest list of the Top 10 quickest Football Players on Earth

IFFHS WORLD CLUB RANKINGS | FC BARCELONA FALLS TO FOURTH

The FIFA backed "International Federation of Football History & Statistics" (IFFHS) has released  its monthly "World Clubs Rankings". The news is that Spanish Football Club FC Barcelona drops from Top spot to fourth position in the classification table. The defeats at the hands of AC Milan in Champions League  & the elimination of the Spanish Cup by Real Madrid are the reasons for the fall.

Spanish Football Club Atletico de Madrid hangs on to second position even with their elimination of the Europa League competition at the hands of Rubin Kazan. Getting to the Final of the Spanish Cup has assisted At. Madrid to remain second but will fall as Bayern Munich was statistically the "Best World Club" for the month of February.

English Premier League Club Chelsea FC takes over as Top World Club.
