IRREGULARITIES REPORTED WITH THE 2012 FIFA GOLDEN BALL VOTES

TV & Arab World-wide network Al-Jazeera today announced irregularities in the voting for the 2012 FIFA Golden Ball citing that Brazilian Captain Thiago Silva & Czech Rep Captain Tomas Rosicky did not vote for Leo Messi as FIFA reflected in the final vote. This also coincides with comments from Swede Captain Ibrahimovic which mentioned that his votes changed as well.

"I voted for Balotelli, but FIFA gave my vote to Messi," said Rosicky. In the same terms PSG Central Defender Thiago Silva said : "I gave my vote to Balotelli, but according to FIFA I gave it to Messi.'s Very sad."

FIFA rejected the Al-Jazeera news as rubbish & that the voting was totally correct & scrutinized.

However, its not the first or last time that FIFA & France Football come under fire with the Golden Ball choice. Many suspect that huge economic interests lie behind the prize winners choice as sportswear giants compite Wordwide, apart from other similiar interests. No doubt FIFA will put its powerful PR machine in full force to put out the smoke before it turns into a full forest fire, something that up till now has been done successfully.
