IRREGULARITIES REPORTED WITH THE 2012 FIFA GOLDEN BALL VOTES

TV & Arab World-wide network Al-Jazeera today announced irregularities in the voting for the 2012 FIFA Golden Ball citing that Brazilian Captain Thiago Silva & Czech Rep Captain Tomas Rosicky did not vote for Leo Messi as FIFA reflected in the final vote. This also coincides with comments from Swede Captain Ibrahimovic which mentioned that his votes changed as well.

"I voted for Balotelli, but FIFA gave my vote to Messi," said Rosicky. In the same terms PSG Central Defender Thiago Silva said : "I gave my vote to Balotelli, but according to FIFA I gave it to Messi.'s Very sad."

FIFA rejected the Al-Jazeera news as rubbish & that the voting was totally correct & scrutinized.

However, its not the first or last time that FIFA & France Football come under fire with the Golden Ball choice. Many suspect that huge economic interests lie behind the prize winners choice as sportswear giants compite Wordwide, apart from other similiar interests. No doubt FIFA will put its powerful PR machine in full force to put out the smoke before it turns into a full forest fire, something that up till now has been done successfully.

SPANISH NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM Selector VICENTE DEL BOSQUE won the FIFA Coach of  The Year 2012 ahead of Real Madrid Coach José Mourinho & ex-FC Barcelona Coach Josep Guardiola. The Coach gave a emotive gratitude speech that thanked all his peers, Spanish players, coaches during his playing years plus remembered the importance of ethics in the Sport.

The FIFA WORLD TEAM XI ( Ideal 11 ) 2012 was totally Spanish in that 5 players were from FC BARCELONA, 5 players from REAL MADRID & the one from ATLETICO DE MADRID. A clear tribute to the "Golden Age & Era" of Spanish Football & of an exceptional generation of players. FIFA GOLDEN BALL 2012 | LIONEL MESSI - LEAKED PHOTO

It being called the "leaked" FIFA GOLDEN BALL photo. It first appeared in Argentine daily "Diario Ole" & since then has been doing the Internet circuit. What´s the fuss? That the name LIONEL MESSI is at the middle flanked by Ronaldo & Iniesta which suggests that the FC BARCELONA player will win his 4th straight Ballon d´Or in January 2013

FIFA has not made any comment regarding the photo, the silence at times speaks louder than words. Said this, Messi is the hot favourite, his 91 goals in one natural year is an overwhelming argument in his favour.

FIFA GOLDEN BALL 2012 AWARD | MESSI - INIESTA - RONALDO

FRANCE FOOTBALL handed in today their list of three candidates up for the FIFA GOLDEN BALL AWARD 2012 to be announced the 7th of January 2013 in Zurich( Switzerland). The three chosen are no surprise except perhaps that Real Madrid goal-keeper Iker Casillas was not in the final cut. FC BARCELONA players, the Spaniard ANDRES INIESTA & LIONEL MESSI, join REAL MADRID player CRISTIANO RONALDO. The hot favourite is Lionel Messi to take his 4th straight title, but personally I would hand it to Andres Iniesta, probably from an emotional aspect & because he was denied in 2010 when he should have won it after the Spanish World Cup campaign, title & winning goal.

Said all this, we will have to wait.

The three FIFA Coach candidates:

Spanish National Football Team Coach Vicente Del Bosque
FC Barcelona ex- Coach Pep Guardiola
Real Madrid CF Coach José Mourinho
