While ATLETICO DE MADRID, via their owners, keep their "Pinocchio" masks on denying that current goalkeeper DE GEA & forward SERGIO AGUERO have alternative plans other than with Atletico, local Spanish Football news indicates all the contrary. Apart from the fact that Atletico de Madrid is badly managed overall, or if at all well it is managed for other reasons far from Football, the Clubs facial "nose" growing techniques do not accompany the very public search by the Club for a new goalkeeper & forward for next season. The chosen "substitutions" for De Gea & Aguero are Villareal International goalkeeper DIEGO LOPEZ & Espanyol forward OSVALDO.

VILLAREAL have taken advantage in the negotiation process knowing beforehand the urgent need by Atletico to find a replacement for young David De Gea who will go to Manchester United. Thus Villareal has put the price of 12M€ on their player.

RCD ESPANYOL also know beforehand the urgency at Atletico to solve & find a replacement for Sergio Aguero & have placed a "stiff" 20M€ price tag onto OSVALDO. It is obvious that negotiations will take the usual pull - push strategy until things come to good port.
Therefore, we already know where big part of the "new" cash income will be destined from the sale of De Gea & Aguero, even though our "Pinocchio´s" still are attempting to make everyone think & believe the "obvious" will not happen.
