Back on the 18th of Febuary I posted an article titled “…Pinocchio Part II”, expresing my personal disbelief to all recent comments from Atletico de Madrid Directives. Please take a moment to put yourself back into context by reading the post.
Today I would like to continue expressing my disbelief with a “Part III” after comments expressed by Atletico de Madrid Director General Miguel Angel Gil ( alias the real owner of the Club) on late night Spanish Radio.
When asked about Argentine forward SERGIO “KUN” AGUERO & the possible interest from REAL MADRID the Club owner answered:
"Tenemos acordado que no puede ir al Real Madrid y no va a ir al Real Madrid, ni aunque pague la cláusula. Seguro que no irá allí..."
translated:
“We have agreed ( Club & Agüero) that he cannot go to Real Madrid ( part of the deal to reduce his contract release clause to 45M€ from 60M€) & he will not go to Real Madrid, even if they pay the contract release clause”
That is, he can go if he wishes to leave Atletico to any other Club, except Real Madrid.
Do you believe this ? Can anyone really force a player of Aguero´s caliber not to go to the Biggest Club in the World if called? Would Aguero really accept such an “illogical”, injust & “carreer blocking” condition? If Atletico de Madrid praises the player publically with their unconditional support, how can they “block” his desires if he wishes to play at Real Madrid if the opportunity arises?
As the title says, Part III & more fan-base smoke screens.
