REAL MADRID: ROONEY, VILLA, SILVA, NAVAS, RIBERY & FABREGAS ALL ON 2010-2011 LIST

REAL MADRID may have suffered a “mortal” blow being eliminated from Champions League, but the Club with more than 100 years of history & named “The Greatest Football Club of the 20th Century” by FIFA never stays down, recovers & is already lifting itself to face the local Spanish League title race & the new upcoming season.

These pictured are some of the heavily rumoured players that are on the list of REAL MADRID for 2010-2011. It’s obvious beforehand that not all of them will be gone after simply because there is not enough money or available places vacant on the team. Said this, it is widely known that a left-back, a creative midfielder, a winger & a true Nº 9 forward are being looked for at this moment & names are already sounding with strength. Whether their respective Clubs or the player wishes to arrive, or Real Madrid is willing to pay the amounts the selling Clubs will ask is a different matter all together.

Spanish TV late night Football Program “Punto Pelota” gave two names last night that are interesting & are said to be liked very much within the Real Madrid Club. According to the sources of the journalist Manchester United forward WAYNE ROONEY is an objective & in case of difficulties on this front, Valencia CF & Spanish International DAVID VILLA is the other player on the list. The Wayne Rooney option is also “backed” by the Spanish sports daily “Sport” but the "operation" is complicated & could follow the Cristiano Ronaldo path, but Manchester United needs money & a big offer could tempt them. The latter looks more feasible & Villa was a “hairs breath” away last season from signing before last minute complications halted the operation.

In the midfield position the name DAVID SILVA is growing in credibility, & the FRANCK RIBERY option as a winger has “fizzled” due to doubts over his persistent knee problems of late that has put Sevilla FC star JESUS NAVAS in the spotlight. However, no one listed has been discarded & are viable options that will be generating news headlines throughout the coming summer break period. The other name wagging is CESC FABREGAS who looks more likely bound for FC Barcelona, although the player remains an option.
