sets 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 to the Swiss, who was absolutely in top flight.
However, its been a fabulous tournament for the Spaniard who won
the same games a Federer but just could´nt win in the important last
clash. SFS is sure we will see Ferrer in the future clinch some
important finals in upcoming tournaments.

Reaching the Masters final in his first appearance is a major acomplishment for David Ferrer. In his best season ever. Plus Ferrer finishes the season as the number 5player of the world.
Spain has 3 in the Top 10 which is another major achievment.
