SWEDEN after its 3-0 victory tonight the secures its pass onto
the final stage of next years Euro 2008 tournament.
Its been a hard slog with difficulties & plenty of hard criticism
along the way, but coach Aragones & Spain slowly got its game
together in the important final long stretch.
It was a game dominated by Spain, & they could have got more
goals during the match. First to score was CAPDEVILA in the 14th
min after scoring from a corner with a powerful close range shot.
Then in the 38th min INIESTA got onto the ball in the square &
rammed home the 2ยบ goal.
Lastly, SERGIO RAMOS ( pictured above) scored in the 64th min
to secure the game for Spain.
Word of mention for Spain´s midfielder XAVI who was superb all
night.
Spain will play Nth Ireland in a few days to end the Group qualifying
