REAL MADRID: CRISTIANO RONALDO PRESENTED IN FRONT OF A + 80.000 CROWD (SEE VIDEO)

A never seen before greeting to a Football player that surpasses
the welcome that Diego Armando Maradona received when he
joined Napoles. More than 80.000 people filled the “Santiago
Bernabeu
” Stadium - estimated 10.000 left outside - to welcome
the new REAL MADRID player CRISTIANO RONALDO. Along with
the crowd there was more than 500 accredited media from around
the World, plus LIVE TO AIR television coverage that beamed
everything to the four corners of the global.

The player looked overwhelmed & nervous but handled the situation
with skill & with kind words all lead to massive roars from the crowd.
Great presence from all the institutional agents of Real Madrid, &
from Portuguese Football, with the special protagonist being Eusebio,
grand figure of European Football & Portuguese sport.

Here is the presentation on Video (thanks to Soares10Lincoln), excuse

FC BARCELONA: CARLES PUYOL PLAN B FOR MANCHESTER CITY?

MANCHESTER CITY has its eye & bank account aimed at CHELSEA
FC
Captain & Central defender JOHN TERRY. To tempt the England
International to leave London the salary promise is that he will be
the highest paid player in the World, more than Ronaldo of Real
Madrid with 13M€/year. Chelsea FC is not going to sell, but
Manchester City has a
PLAN B

FC BARCRELONA
Captain CARLES PUYOL is the chosen alternative
in case Manchester City is unable to convince John Therry, according
to the English paper “The Sun”. This plan may well be more
complicated as Puyol is a Barça symbol & Captain, plus is on the verge
of extending his contract two more years which will be accompanied
with an economic improvement. SFS believes that it is unlikely that
Plan B will go ahead, if Plan A fails, which is not an impossibility as
pointed out by British media.

Said this, one feels that Puyol is nearly impossible & M.City knows
it.So the latest news is that there is a PLAN C: Brazilian Captain
LUCIO
, according to the "Daily Mail"

TOTTENHAM OFFERS 15M€ FOR ATHLETIC DE BILBAO FORWARD LLORENTE

News from Spanish daily “AS” brings our attention to a supposed
15M€ offer by English Premier League Club TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS
to ATHLETIC DE BILBAO for its star forward FERNANDO LLORENTE.
The English Club has Roman Pavyluchenko on the market & believe
that the Spanish International is the new man they are looking for to

fill the gap.

However, Bilbao considers Llorente to be a vital piece in their team
set up & they are not up to selling the young star. Llorente has
contract until 2011 & has a 30M€ contract release clause, of which
Bilbao has made reference to the English Club. Tottenham has
already “sounded” the possibility of signing Peter Crouch & Real
Madrid forward Huntelaar, in both cases out of their budget.

CRISTIANO RONALDO WILL HAVE THE Nº9 AT REAL MADRID

CRISTIANO RONALDO will wear the Nº9 on his back. The Portuguese
Football star & new REAL MADRID player will be presented tomorrow
at 21.00 (Sp Time) in the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in front of an
expected +70.000 fans. The other number that he liked was Nº17 his
number at Sporting, but he accepted happily the Nº9.

The Nº9 is now vacant after SAVIOLA left it recently with his transfer
to Portuguese Football. The number has a historical significance at
Real as it was the number of their legendary Argentine goal scorer
ALFREDO DI STEFANO. The shirt Nº9 of Cristiano Ronaldo with the
Real Madrid logo is expected to break record sales.

REAL MADRID: WESLEY SNEIJDER IN THE MIND OF CHELSEA FC?

According to English paper “News Of The World” ( that in itself
maybe dodgy) , CHELSEA FC has shifted its interest for BAYERN
MUNICH
Frenchmen FRANCK RIBERY & placed its sights on REAL
MADRID
midfielder WESLEY SNEIJDER.

Real Madrid paid 27M€ for the Dutchmen & is on the “list” of players
for sale. However, Sneijder has already expressed his desire to stay
at Real Madrid, but a good team & offer may change his mind. Other
Clubs rumoured to have shown interest are Juventus, Inter & Bayern
Munich
. This last Club is also sounding with Wesley Sneidjer entering
in a possible operation ( along with Real team-mate Robben) is a
Franck Ribery offer from Real Madrid to Bayern.

Stay tuned.

SFS FLASHBACKS: SPAIN 1 - GERMANY 0: FERNANDO TORRES EURO 2008

It was over a year ago that SPAIN made the jump into the World
Football elite defeating GERMANY 1-0 in the Final of the European
Championships. The only goal came thanks to FERNANDO TORRES

who managed to beat defender Lahm to "clip" the ball over the
goalie & guide the ball into the net. Spain, European Nations Cup
Champions 2008, a
great SFS Flashback moment to remember.

ATLETICO DE MADRID THINK IN AC MILAN MIDFIEDER PIRLO?

Spanish daily “Marca” publish that ATLETICO DE MADRID has thought
about the possibility of acquiring the services of AC MILAN star
midfielder PIRLO. The Italian Club has declared Pirlo transferable &
has placed a price of about 18M€, plus the Italian International has
expressed a desire to continue his Football in Spain.

Atletico de Madrid will have to sell players before they can make
this wish a reality & must get back their investments from players
like Luis Garcia, Reyes, Maxi Rodriguez, Pablo Ibañez, etc. This
year Atletico has a very tight budget & apart from attempting to
find new income cash flows sources they will also have to negotiate
a lower price for Pirlo. The Italian Club & Pirlo has already knocked
back an offer from Chelsea FC because Pirlo desires Spain, according
to the already cited news source.

Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID PRESENTS OFFICIALLY RAÚL ALBIOL

REAL MADRID presented tonight its new Central Defender bought
from VALENCIA CF, 23 year old Spanish International RAÚL ALBIOL.
The turn out was quiet impressive, 8.000 fans to see a relative young
promising & National Football player that understandably hasn´t the
profile of Kaká who drew
a 50.000 crowd.

(photo: elmundo.com)

The layout was exactly the same as for Kaká as Real Madrid doesn´t
wish to differenciate the treatment & presentations of the players.
The next "big event" will be Cristiano Ronaldo next Monday & he

is expected to fill the Staduim Santiago Bernabeu (+80.000), then
followed by Karim Benzema tbc possibly in the same week.

REAL MADRID: FRANCK RIBERY - "...I WISH TO LEAVE...REAL MADRID OR NOTHING"

According to alleged comments picked up in the French sports daily
“L´Equipe”, BAYERN MUNICH French forward FRANCK RIBERY
has done what Valencia CF player David Villa did not do & was
expected. In the first day of training for the new season
for Bayern Franck Ribery told his new Coach Luis Van Gaal
(translated) “… I have made up my mind, I wish to leave”, when
Van Gaal asked what his desires were for the new season. Ribery
than added “…I will go to Real Madrid or nowhere… I would love
to have a chance & speak to the Club directives
”.

(photo: as.com)

This maybe (maybe) the beginning of a “softening” process in
reference to the inflexibility of his Club Bayern Munich who do not
wish to sell the French International - which is their right! The only
opinion that Bayern will consider is an outrageous offer, something
that many intuitively suspect is related to the hard-line posture of
the German Club. Bayern Munich could be tensing the wire as much
as possible & “throwing a glove” at Real Madrid in order to gain the
maximum offer possible if a transfer does finally take place.

Stay tuned, this has a long road to go yet!
