REAL MADRID TRANSFER RUMOUR | KAKA ASKS REAL MADRID TO EASE HIS EXIT

The future of REAL MADRID player KAKA is still giving talk & news headlines. From Italy, concretely from "Corriere dello Sport", Kaka is said to have approached Coach Mourinho & asked that he do his best to facilitate his exit from the Spanish Football Club. That basically means that Kaka asks Real Madrid to lower their transfer price pretensions as to allow another Club to consider his signing.

Transfer Rumours 2012
Kaka

The Club best positioned is said to be AC MILAN, but Real Madrid at this moment will not go below the 35M€ figure. A relatively "low" number years back in an inflated market that is not the case in these hard economic moments. Another Club that has been asking is Paris St Germain, but this option fell when the French Club announced that Kaka was no longer a priority for them.

This can change of course as Football around transfer season is all words & less about truth.

Stay tuned!

THE REAL MADRID CHRISTMAS PRESENT | KAKÁ

Kaka running today with group at
Real Madrid training.

KAKÁ is the Christmas present that Santa Claus has brought to REAL MADRID CF. The Brazilian is back training with the team & running. The training is light & no risks will be taken as the Club & the Brazilian star wish to come back in 100% conditions. If things keep going as scheduled Kaká will be able to sit on the Real Madrid bench end of January 2011 & may then begin to get the much needed playing minutes to gradually go increasing & back to top form again. Nice to see you back Kaká!

REAL MADRID | 2010 | KAKÁ COULD GO TO INTER MILAN IN THE WINTER MARKET ?

At first I though it was just plain “bullshit”, however the news that started coming out of Italy some weeks back is now beginning to spread here in the Spanish Sports press &  I am now not so sure anymore. The piece in question has appear today out in the Spanish Sports daily “AS” online edition & they reiterate that REAL MADRID Coach José Mourinho has given his OK to sell Brazilian star KAKÁ to INTER MILAN if the Spanish Club decides to do so as rumoured in Italy.

Real Madrid player Kaká

Italian press have been claiming for sometime that Inter Milan had approached Real Madrid to scan & study the idea of selling Kaká to them for this upcoming “Winter Market”. The obvious obstacle, apart from the possible player & Club negative desires, was Coach José Mourinho who has control over Football issues & that he may halt any such speculation. With young German International promise Ozil adapting &  playing well at Real Madrid, plus young U 21 International Sergio Canales also an option, the loss of Kaká will not be so noticed & Mourinho has reportedly - Italian Press - given his green light.

I still find this story hard to believe. The news is all Italian based, created &  I doubt seriously that Inter will have 65M€ to spent & that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez will wish to sell his personal bet & star signing. Plus, the class of Kaká cannot be questioned & the odds of the Brazilian bouncing back to his best form after recovering from his current injury is almost assured.

I will keep an eye on this rumour. Although I find it still in the “bullshit category” the insistent stories & the daily turn of events in Football, forces me to at least inform you that there is talk. Stay tuned!

REAL MADRID| GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK RICARDO IZECSON DOS SANTOS LEITE - “KAKÁ”

The best thing from yesterdays Real Madrid 1-2 victory over Zaragoza – apart from the 3 points – was the return of Brazilian midfielder KAKÁ. Just to watch the man smile & score his team’s second & vital winning goal sent warmth throughout most fair minded Football fans.

Kaká has been sidelined for 43 days with a very painful pelvic injury that has stopped him dry, & worst of all put his reputation into question. Many people – fans & media – began to question whether Kaká was thinking more about the upcoming World Cup tournament & his participation with Brazil instead about the Club that was paying him. Serious allegations from people outside the Club that must have added pressure, anxiety & sadness to Kaká that he of all people be questioned in such a manner. The man of “Jesus” was being called a “liar” by a few as his injury extended itself in time.

Yesterday was the night the Kaká shut those vicious & malice mouths with a goal that keeps Real Madrid fighting for the Spanish League title & 1 point away from current leaders FC Barcelona. His come back onto the Football field arrives at the best moment for his team.

Nice to have you back Kaká, Football has been missing you!

WORLD FOOTBALL | SOCCER | FINANCE : 5 SPANISH BASED PLAYERS IN "THE WORLD´S BEST PAID PLAYERS " LIST

Source: Sp Ftball Sprts Blog: /
Ever wondered, just because you’re a curious person, how much you’re Football – Soccer – idols makes a year in money, that is, what they actually earn taking into account salary, bonus, sponsorship deals…etc. ? The prestigious American Financial Magazine “Forbes” continues with its look into the Football – Soccer – World publishing the list of highest earners. Yesterday (& posted below) Forbes examined the Clubs, today they put the focus on the players, with 5 Spanish based players on the top list.

The 35 year old Englishman David Beckham still reins Nº1 with earning of 40M US$ (30M€) thanks to his multiple sponsorship deals. He is followed by Portuguese & REAL MADRID player CRISTIANO RONALDO with earnings of 30M US$ (22,5M€) & third is Brazilian & team-mate KAKÁ with income of 25M US$ (18,7M€). Three other Spanish based players are also mentioned, all from FC BARCELONA, who in the Messi case, he may be the highest salary earner in World Football - Soccer - but falls in the sponsorship area relative to those here mentioned.

The Top List of players is then made up by Ronaldinho, THIERRY HENRY (FCB), MESSI (FC), Frank Lampard, Terry, ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC (FCB), Steven Gerrard y Wayne Rooney.

CRISTIANO RONALDO, KAKÁ & HENRY IN "TIME" TOP 100 INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD VOTING

Source: Spanish Football Sports Blog /
Interesting news piece picked up on my Internet surfing today. The important American current affairs magazine “Time” will publish on the 29th of April its FINAL list of the Top 100 most influential personalities (in all areas) in the World. Time has chosen firstly 200 names of which they cast a poll to see what the public (American in their majority) think will finally constitute a final Top 100 List. Obviously a list of this kind is very subjective & the main idea is to cause debate & thus give publicity to “Time Magazine” especially its online version which will be publishing such list.

What is notable is that three Spanish Football – Soccer – League based players were named within the Top 200 for the voting section. The first is CRISTIANO RONALDO who is currently in the Nº35 place in today’s voting with 5714 votes, along with Brazilian team-mate KAKÁ who also is in the voting & is currently placed in the Nº 54 position with 3016 pts. The other named Football players are Spanish based THIERRY HENRY (FC Barcelona ) currently in Nº 87 with 1617 pts , with English Premier League player Didier Drogba (Chelsea FC) currently 148 with 687 pts &) , plus there are other Sports people like Tiger Woods, Roger Federer & Serena Williams in the voting as well.

What may call everyone’s attention, especially those outside the United States, is the total absence of LIONEL MESSI, current FIFA World Player & Golden Ball winner, who doesn’t get a mention. Plus, what calls my attention is the absence (at least what I have seen) of Spanish Tennis Champion RAFAEL NADAL.

You still have time to cast your vote: TIME ONLINE

REAL MADRID: KAKÁ OFFICIALLY PRESENTED

Took my 6 year old nephew to see REAL MADRID present its first
star signing KAKÁ this evening. There were between 40-50.000

people to witness the event, & quite frankly I haven´t seen anything
like it before. I don´t even wish to imagine what it will be like next
Monday the 6th of July when Cristiano Ronaldo gets presented.

Kaká will show the number 8 on his back, while its previous owner
Gago takes the number 5.

The Real Madrid new project begins...
