Round 10 of La Liga kicked off with the Friday night game between Deportivo A Coruña & Atletico de Madrid a match which ended in a 1 - 1 draw result. The encounter was largely dominated by the visitors which went ahead in the 33rd min through Thiago, however a tremendous defensive mistake by Gimenez allowed Lucas to draw the game in the 76th min. Deportivo could have taken the points but hit the bar. A match that complicated itself for Atletico de Madrid.
Real Madrid hosted Las Palmas & won 3 - 1. The home side was thinking more on next weeks Champions League match against Paris St Germain & saved some players while making debut others, like young Mayoral in the 2º half.
Real Madrid wrapped up the game in the 1ºst half with three gaols.

The only goal from Las Palmas came from a fixed play piece with Hernan headed in for goal in the 36th min.
Valencia CF had a huge exam in front of their home supporters hosting Levante. They passed with a good grade after some initial frustration having two goals disallowed. But they overcame negative emotions & took control of proceeding in the 2º half. Paco Alcacer opened the goal can 63rd min, followed by Feghouli in the 71st min & later Bakkali in the 79th min. Important three points for Valencia CF, final result 3 - 0
Villarreal won 2 - 1 Sevilla FC. The home team palyed well & were worthy winners with goals from Mario in the 24th min & Bakambu in the 61st min. Sevilla managed their only goal in the 75th min through Fernando Llorente. Sevilla FC not firing on all cylinders & are below their play from last season.
Getafe hosted FC Barcelona & lost 0 - 2. Getafe was not a worry for Barça which could have scored more goals, one case, the visitors were not given a clear penalty after a Getafe defender handled the ball in the area. The goals for FC Barcelona came through Luis Suarez in the 36th min & Neymar in the 58th min. Andres Iniesta returned from injury coming onto the field in the 60th min, great news for all fans & Barça.
Barça keeps up its good results without their star Messi who is still recovering from injury.
