PRE-AGREEMENT TER STEGEN - FC BARCELONA ?

It was advanced here about a month ago, FC BARCELONA had in mind 20 year old BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH goalkeeper TER STEGEN to replace their current goalie VICTOR VALDES when the latter left at the end of his contract period.

Other names sounding are Thibaut Courtois, David De Gea, Pepe Reina & Andres Fernández, but Ten Steger is strong. So much so the Spanish TV announced via a popular late-night Football show that the German goalie had a pre-agreement with Barça. The Spanish Football Club has a budget of between 12-20M€ to find the goalkeeping replacement & their choice has been made. Ter Stegen is the German goalkeeping promise who was named "Best Goalkeeper in the Bundesliga" last season.

The representative of Ter Stegen rejects the news coming out of Spain & denies a pre-agreement. The agent has no choice but to do so, as his player is still under contract with his Club & negotiating with Barcelona is not legal under FIFA laws without the players Clubs content.
