If yesterday we were glad to hear that Frenchman Eric Abidal of FC BARCELONA was given the green light to return to Football after his cancer & a liver transplant, today we are at the other end of the spectrum. FC BARCELONA announced that their current Coach TITO VILANOVA will be urgently operated tomorrow after falling back with his own cancer fight. The Barça fought off a glandular ( saliva gland ) cancer months back & now it seems that his disease has come back & needs urgent attention. This will keep Tito away from the Football fields months as he has to undergo chemotherapy & radiation treatment.
The second Coach of Barcelona JORDI ROURA will take over, starting with this Saturdays LIGA match against Valladolid. There will then be the Christmas break & there is no news if Barça will search for a new Coach.
