FC BARCELONA has renewed the contract of Argentine International LIONEL MESSI & in the process increased his yearly salary. The new agreement lifts his earnings to 16,000,000 € per year (net). This converts Lionel Messi in the second highest paid Football player in World Soccer behind Samuel Eto´o who earns a cool 20M€ per year.
