Entertaining match worthy of a watch as it was intense by both sides, with plenty of chances & with goals. VILLAREAL lost 1 - 2 to GETAFE & in the process the former "return" dangerously close to the dreaded "relegation zone" of the ladder.

Getafe got ahead very early when DIEGO CASTRO scored in the 5th min. Villareal reacted a managed a penalty which VALERO missed in the 18th min. Villareal was undeterred & continued looking for the equalizer which came with another penalty call which this time around was scored in the 45th min by NILMAR.
Intense 2ยบ half with both teams looking for the victory & it seemed that the minimal mistake by either would tip the balance. That happened in the 72nd min when Villareal´s attempt at an off-side failed & BARRADA managed to get through & find a great pass that ended in the Villareal net.
In the end a defensive mistake settled the result & Getafe took the points.
