AT BILBAO 2 SLOVAN BRATISLAVA 1 | EUROPA LEAGUE GROUP F RESULT

SPANISH FOOTBALL representative ATHLETIC CLUB BILBAO defeated SLOVAN BRATISLAVA 2 -1 in their EUROPA LEAGUE Group F match. The fact that Group "mate" PSG lost its game,  & the victory to Athletic tonight, assures the latter the Group top spot with a game still to play.

Athletic got off to a good start when DE MARCOS opened the scoring in the 14th min, but Bratislava kept at their game plan & equalized in the 38th min via SEBO with help by Gorka ( Bilbao goalie) who made a mistake. From here it was pressure stuff Football for big boys as the visitors looked for the points. However, Bilbao lifted from the knocks & scored the second & eventual winner in the 74th min via SUSAETA.

Bilbao held on till the end & even have more chances to score.
