The FC BARCELONA 3 - 0 victory over Atletico de Madrid in Round 22 of the Spanish League yesterday gave this particular Barça side another SPANISH FOOTBALL record.

Barça broke the record previously held by Real Madrid of 15 consecutive victories in the Spanish League. Real Madrid under its star Di Stefano during the 1960 - 61 season held that priviledge until last night when FC Barcelona with its 2010 - 2011 line -up overtook Real Madrid with their now 16 straight wins. I have no doubts that this Barça will continue breaking other long standing records. Tweet
