Born in Bilbao, the youngster moved to the city of Zaragoza with three years of age. His Football education has been given at the REAL ZARAOGOZA Club rising up through the junior ranks &he made his debut with the senior team August 2009. From here, his evolution & rise has been rapid consolidating his midfield place with the team & becoming a vital member. Last year English Premier League Clubs (e.g. Arsenal) already were observing the “explosion” of Ander in Spanish Football & made offers in an attempt to lure him over to the Premier League.
Local Football observers are impressed by the player’s mature & cold thinking under pressure, his ability to play in different positions & his likeness to another young Spanish star Andres Iniesta of FC Barcelona. Ander has also consolidated his place as a Spanish International being part of the junior categories &is now finishing off his “apprenticeship” with the U-21 Squad.
Keep an eye out on young Anders as Spanish Football has assured a World Class talent that will keep on growing, evolving & giving us plenty of Football joys during the remaining part of this season at Real Zaragoza & at Athletic de Bilbao as from the next season.
