According to the FIFA backed "IFFHS" organization – International Federation of Football History & Statistics – Spanish International & FC BARCELONA player DAVID VILLA is the “Best Goal scorer/Forward currently in World Football”.

They base this with mathematical formulas & coefficients that simply described goes something like the following. Since the 1st of January of 2010 David Villa has scored 7 goals with the SPANISH NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM, four of which he has scored in this current World Cup tournament. To this the IFFHS adds his European competition goals which are four, this gives Villa an overall goal score of 11.
