Spanish Football Soccer League celebrated tonight three matches as part of Round 30 of "La Liga".
REAL ZARAGOZA managed to win & keep off a "sticky" MALAGA 2-0 in a battle to survive in the 1º Division as both are dangerously close to the relegation zone. PONZIO opened the scoring in the 45th min for Zaragoza & SUAZO (above) got the sealer in the 75th min. Valuable points for the home team.
Not only did FC BARCELONA run over ATHLETIC DE BILBAO with a 4-1 victory, they sent a clear message to their title rivals Real Madrid that they did the job with a "B-team". Barça Coach Guardiola started with Jaffren, Chygrynskiy, Jonathan & Bojan, the latter after Ibrahimovic injured himself before the match. The "B-side" did not matter as they played as good as the "A-team" & even better, with BOJAN scoring two goals ( 41st & 58th min) , JAFFREN scoring first in the 26th min & MESSI in the 66th getting his teams fourth goal & equaling Man Utd. Wayne Rooney in the "Golden Boot" goal tally. At. Bilbao managed a consolation goal in the 76th min via SUSAETA. Barça regain the Top Ladder spot while they wait to see tomorrows Racing vs. Real Madrid result.
SEVILLA FC got back to "normal" with a convincing 3-0 win over bottom placed team TENERIFE. KANOUTE scored first in the 22th min, followed later by LUIS FABIANO in the 44th min & JOSE CARLOS in the 85th min with a brilliant free-kick. A calm atmosphere returns to a tense Sevilla who will appreciate this important soothing win.
