The news published by the English paper “The Daily Mirror” about the conflict generated between ARSENAL FC Captain & Spanish International CESC FABREGAS with his Club President Peter Hill-Wood has made its way down Spain way. The falling out between player & Club is apparently serious & is due because Mr. Hill-Wood made the comment that Cesc Fabregas isn’t good enough to play with FC BARCELONA.
However there is more to this than meets the eye. The Arsenal President has been swerving questions the last few weeks about an “existing” gentlemans “pact” between Arsenal & FC Barcelona to sell the player to the latter next season. The reply to this bombardment of questions by the Arsenal President was that Fabregas hasn’t a place in the current Barça teamWhile the storm builds & continues, I would like to put forward my theory. This could be a fabricated press strategy to begin to “break the message” softly to the Arsenal fans. There is nothing better than to justify the departure of Fabregas because of an irreconcilable
difference & professional disappointment. This way the Arsenal fans will not be so hard on Fabregas if it does come that he is transferred to FC Barcelona next season.
But is FC Barcelona also a 100% shut deal? I am not so sure at this point although Barça does seem to have all the cards, or that’s how it looks like, right? Tweet
