Internet is a difficult affair, I hope you will excuse the less than
usual extensive summary for this week.
The Spanish "Liga" celebrated three matches tonight of Round
17 in freezing conditions, as with the rest of Europe.
ATLETICO DE MADRID travelled to VALLADOLID & showed its
Dr.Jekyll & Hyde personality. The former won 0-4 with goals from
JURADO, DIEGO FORLAN, REYES & AGUERO to win three
valuable points & gain some lost respect after the mid-week
Spanish Cup disaster. However, one will have to be honest,
Valladolid are not the best benchmark, but a win is a win & at
this point any good news is welcomed.
SEVILLA FC hosted RACING & had scouts to check out you Racing
sensation CANELES (above) who buried them. The youngster scored
his teams two goals to defeat Sevilla 1-2 & put Sevilla further
behind in the Liga classification race. The only goal for Sevilla
came via ROMARIC.
VILLAREAL & ALMERIA played out a great match that finished in a
1-1 draw. NILMAR scored for Villareal in the 39th min & then
CORONA equalized for Almeria via a penalty in the 67th min.
