MALLORCA came back on track with a convincing 3-0 win over
VALLADOLID. The opening goal came early via NUNES (above)
in the 3rd min, with the last two fought out with ADURIZ in the
70th & VALERO 72th min. Mallorca surprisingly are riding high.

REAL ZARAGOZA needed a win & they managed to "crush" GETAFE
3-0, the latter totally out played & out of position all match. Zaragoza
defender PAVON headed the opener in the 16th min & his team-mate
AGUILAR scored twice ( 23rd & 81st min) to seal things. Important
three points for Zaragoza over an unknown Getafe.

Second straight victory for OSASUNA over an unlucky REAL SPORTING
DE GIJÓN with a minimal 1-0 win. The only goal was scored in the 56th
min with a penalty which NEKOUNAM converted.

ALMERIA camback to equalize & finish in a 2-2 draw against RACING.
The latter got ahead via CRUSAT in the 16th min but slowly lost control
to Racing who equalized via TCHITE in the 59th min. Racing continued
with its dominance & went ahead via LACEN in the 71st min. Then Racing
"went to sleep" & paid the price as Almeria equalized & turned the game
with a 89th min goal by UCHE.
DEPORTIVO defeated 1-0 a VILLAREAL team who is surprisingly
disappointing everyone with their low form. They are currently in
the bottom part of the ladder, a place not habitual for them. The
only goal came early from JUCA in the 6th min, & Villareal tried hard
from there all match but did not find the break through.
