The transfer market is in full swing & the “offer winds” are blowing
onto all Clubs & particular onto their prized assets. According to
English daily “The Times” – picked up here via “AS” – CHELSEA FC
has offered ATLETICO DE MADRID 52M€ for its Argentine
International forward SERGIO “KUN” AGUERO. There are initial
disagreements over the player’s salary desires, but the offer is
there for consideration. A few days ago, Aguero insinuated to
Argentine TV when asked if he would enjoy playing with Messi at
FC Barcelona that he wished it could be true, opening up a “can of
worms” in speculations & sending a tremor through Atletico. The
Spanish Club President directs all the potential Clubs to look at
Aguero´s contract release clause of 65M€, plus the player has a
wish to continue playing in “Latin” countries – for the moment!

Staying with ATLETICO DE MADRID, English daily “Daily Mail” has
informed that TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS have Argentine International
MAXI RODRIGUEZ on their agenda. The Atletico Captain is valued at
about 15M€ & would help ease his “tensions” with Coach Abel if the
player were to go over to England. Tottenham player ZOKORA is an
attractive asset to Atletico, were Sevilla Fc is also showing interest
& could spur things on. Maxi has expressed that he does not discount
any possibility for his future, be it playing in Italy or England.
