LIVERPOOL TEST FC BARCELONA WITH 32.5M€ OFFER FOR ETO´O

News from the English newspaper “Mirror”, which has been picked up here
by daily “AS” reports that LIVERPOOL FC via its Spanish Coach Rafael
Benitez is willing to go as high as 32.5M€ to convince FC BARCELONA to
allow its star striker SAMUEL ETO´O to think & take up the serious offer to
incorporate himself to the English Club next season.





















The Cameroon forward is having a tremendous season with 25 goals in the
Spanish League putting Eto´o firmly on course to be crowned “Golden Boot”
if he remains in his current goal scoring form. The player is 28 years old & has
an extraordinary physical condition that can keep him at the top of Football
for many years to come. Coach Benitez has in mind that Samuel could create
a “deadly” forward line combining with Fernando Torres upfront. The
FC Barcelona player has another year of contract with Barça but both haven’t
as yet began to negotiate & rumours say that Eto´o is asking for higher & better
conditions that Barça are not willing to meet. This of course, opens the door
to offers & allows Eto´o & Barça to study all options.

Added to all this, the constant rumours on the future of Eto´o & the coming of
new players next season (e.g.Benzema, Ribery, etc) has unsettled the environment
& caused frictions with Eto´o who feels that the media, & especially the Club,
don’t appreciate fully his work & dedication.
