BARCELONA will “go” after LIVERPOOL FC & 24 year old Danish
Central Defender DANIEL AGGER. The cited player hasn’t renewed with
his Club & his contract ends on the 30th of June, thus Barça & player can
legally negotiate & there is no transfer fee if both parties come to a final
agreement.
The “hitch” with Liverpool is Agger´s desire to earn 75.000€/week & the
player is comfortably studying all options & offers, included another big
European Club in the name of AC Milan. SFS thinks this is a “tactical”
move by Agger & his representative to force his current Club Liverpool to
feel the pressure & take the “glove” thrown at them by the Dane defender.
FC Barcelona for its part is well endowed with young defenders (Pique,
Caceres…etc) & Agger may not have a secured place in every game, that’s
something he must know beforehand. The only real danger for Liverpool in
losing the youngster is with AC Milan who does need a young defender with
their legend Paolo Maldini possibly retiring at the end of this season.
Staying with LIVERPOOL FC, local daily “AS” informs that the English Club
is seriously interested in ATHLETIC DE BILBAO & U/21 International player
JAVI MARTINEZ (pictured above). However, there is competition from Italian
Club FIORENTINA for the 20 year old promise.
