ABRAMOVICH TORPEDOES REAL MADRID´S PLANS?

An interesting front cover from the Spanish Sports daily “Marca” today.
The paper highlights that REAL MADRID, via its ex-President Florentino
Perez
who is rumoured & speculated to be working behind the scenes to
tie up his “NEW REAL MADRID” to be re-elected President in the
upcoming June 12th Club elections, is not having things going his way.

According to “Marca”, CHELSEA FC owner Roman Abramovich has
entered the stage & has made a huge offer for the Coach that Florentino Perez
had on top of his list: AC MILAN Coach CARLO ANCELOTTI. The rumour
is that the Italian may have already given his OK to the English Premier
League Club & thus torpedoed Real Madrid’s plans. The other news here
connected with what has just been written is that Abramovich is said to now be
planning an offer for
AC MILAN star KAKA, taking advantage that he has
Ancelotti tied up & that would certainly be a huge blow for Florentino Perez &
Real Madrid. Let’s wait & see this outcome as SFS suspects that KAKA may
have already signed some pre-agreement, although I cannot prove it as it is
pure SFS speculation.

This has forced Real Madrid to look for alternatives for the Coaching/Manager
position & there are two names being talked about at this point. Firstly,
ARSENE WEGNER with the added plus that CESC FABREGAS would come
in the same package. Secondly, the other person favoured is VILLAREAL
Chilean Coach MANUEL PELLEGRINI who has supposedly been chosen by
to be General Manager, Jorge Valdano. Both are difficult as they are currently
tied to their current Clubs. SFS will like to add its own piece; there could be a
third person “hidden” behind this smokescreen. What about Jose Mourinho?

Independently of all the talk, what about JUANDE RAMOS? Is it so certain
that he is destined to be replaced next season? Doesn’t he deserve to continue?
What is your thought?

Lastly, the top right position of the cover mentions that FABIO CANNAVARO
will leave in June. Apparently, the player knows that he doesn’t enter into the
new plans for Real Madrid for the 2009/2010 season.

I hope they keep Ramos and brings in Kaka, Diego or Gourcuff because we lack creativity in the middle of midfield.
