A JUAN PABLO CARRIZO & MAXI RODRIGUEZ SWAP? DOUBT IT

Italian paper “Corriere dello Sport” makes echo of the interest by Spaniards
ATLETICO DE MADRID for Argentine goalkeeper JUAN PABLO
CARRIZO who is currently with Italian Club LAZIO. The daily adds that
the Italians may let the goal stopper go if Atletico agrees for an exchange
with fellow country man & Atletico Captain MAXI RODRIGUEZ.

The story develops further adding that this is an idea that it is being put
forward by the Italians in order to “assist” find a solution to their unhappy
goalkeeper who is distressed by his bench warming time. The Argentine was a
9M€ investment which was an effort for Lazio & they wish to at least cover

some costs. However, there is another “difficulty”, Maxi Rodriguez has a salary
of more than 1.5M€ per season which could be out of reach of the Lazio purse
strings.

SFS will follow this & keep an eye out, however I don’t see this advancing
much further than being at this point pure speculation. However we have seen
stranger things happen.
