Spain, sorry guys a well known Sports multinational, today presented its new
shirt design which will make its debut in this Saturdays upcoming World Cup
2010 qualifying game against Turkey in Madrid, & will be the uniform in
Spain’s participation in the June 2009 Confederations Cup tournament in
South Africa. In a nutshell a pure marketing gimmick by part of the
multinational that sponsors the Spanish National Football (Soccer) Team that
wishes to sell more shirts & ride on the back of the Spanish Teams National &
International popularity
Here is the explanation for the new design. The dark blue line over the
shoulder represents the two oceans that bath South African shores, the Atlantic
& the Indian Oceans. Plus there is a decorative colour (Gold) that represents
the city of Johannesburg where the final will be played. The multinational has
even done a TV ad that they will bombard us with under the new marketing
slogan “Hunters of The Impossible”. SFS puts the TV ad on this post without
cost in the interest of its readers – SFS perhaps should ask for some cash :-)
Remember this is simply a Marketing "brainwashing" strategy & nothing to do
with Footballs pure elements.

SFS personally thinks it is horrible. But Football is a Big Money sucking

sleepless nights figuring his creative idea. Three black lines on the faces of
the players to represent them as Football (Soccer) warriors...nice one, its all
so obvious!

I really did not like the new shirt . İt is just like a training t-shirt. Spain's pure red shirt has always been a classical one . Black stripe in front of the shirt is really awful. This is not Spanish National Team's shirt .
I like it! The band actually looks navy blue but, anyway, it looks nice and aggressive. Is it better than their previous jersey? I don't know...I just don't think it's that horrible. However, no other team, I assume, will have new kits until shortly before WC 2010 so, I agree with the author...now that everyone's eyes are on Spain, they are going to milk it by getting new uniforms every so often. I don't expect them to wear this jersey for the World Cup for that same reason.
i don't like it. It is pretty ugly. No a little esthetics at all!F**king designers!
