It is speculated that Cristiano Ronaldo signed a pre-contract with REAL
MADRID & agreed to stay one more year at Manchester United if the Club
agreed beforehand to accept his departure at the end of this season 2008/2009.
More news from England, concretely from the English paper “Daily Mail”
publishes that the Portuguese star is tired of English Football after being
questioned as a “penalty area diver”, an “actor” & the hard tackles being
received from defenders that are not being sanctioned by the referees. Ronaldo
feels that he is more protected overseas were the game is prized with free
flow instead of stop start tactics systematically applied in England by
the oppostion teams.
Some analyst have even brought up the observation that Cristiano Ronaldo´s
game has changed & has become much more conservative, with the word
precaution standing out as the keyword. Those same observers say that
Ronaldo passes the ball much more in order to avoid receiving the hard
tackles of defenders & thus avoid serious injury that may hamper his move
to Real Madrid. SFS doesn’t wish to believe that a professional of this calibre
would not render 100%, but it is food for thought & it does raise the question.
