agreeing the transfer of its striker KERZHAKOV to
the UEFA Champions. Zenit asks for 8 & Seville is willing
to pay 6, now the pressure of the player will come into
play, & he is anxious to go to the Spanish club. Looks
like a soon to be done deal.
This makes it clear that Argentine striker SAVIOLA will need to
find a club for next season. He wishes to stay in Spain, but that
decision belongs to Barcelona FC who "own" his contract.
Saviola would love to play for VILLAREAL, but that will depend
on how the FORLAN negotiations develop, were Saviola could
be part of the deal to lower the price that Villareal are asking
Barça for Forlan. Will keep you informed.
Lastly, Spanish player GABRI has signed for 3 seasons with
Dutch Club AJAX OF AMSTERDAM. The now ex- Barcelona
player, rejected another offer from Manchester City to finally
