The local press, following coach Aragones training line-ups &
comments, have insinuated that Spain will put out an offensive
looking team & give some other players a run. It´s certainly the
last chance to try out some new ideas, tactics & combinations
before Spain´s 1ยบ match against the Ukraine in Group H.
This is the rumoured kick off line-up:
REINA
SALGADO - PUYOL - PABLO - A.LOPEZ
JOAQUIN - XAVI - X.ALONSO - REYES
RAUL - VILLA
This line up may change before kick -off, but there is a
clear willingness to see if this team can exploit the wings,
& thus give Spain another option it can use once in the World Cup
tournament. Croatia who have qualified for the World Cup, will
be an excellent opponent to see how well Spain is developing in
its preparation.
