News vibrating out of England - again - has been picked up locally by Spanish Sports paper "AS", that ARSENAL Dutch forward ROBINVAN PERSIE is a REAL MADRID target for next season. This is not the first "vibrator" impact reached locally as the forward has been splashed on local press during the past seasons, which FC Barcelona also sounding in the past.
Van Persie
The 28 year old player ends contract June of 2013 & has already notched up 37 goals this season for Arsenal. The rumour from the English press is that Real Madrid is willing to offer 30M€, but Manchester City is also in there as well with a big figure offer.
While this is a story from England, here in Spain, the centre of the spring of "Real Madrid" Football waters, there ate strong rumours with theses players: Javi Martinez ( At. Bilbao) & the return of Sergio Aguero ( Mnachester City) ...these are real "vibrators" & locally.
So stay tuned as things - as every year - are heating up. Plus lets not forget, with the Euro 2012 competition soon there may arise a "new star" that may have all Clubs running over themselves to sign. Tweet
Truth? Hype? The players representative pulling strings? Or just all Bullshit? The beauty behind Football & Spanish Sports paper "Marca" is that all four possibilities can exist &/or co-exist?
That REAL MADRID & FC Barcelona (also mentioned) are following, plus the latter thinking in signing next season the Dutch forward is not at all new. The last couple of seasons VAN PERSIE has sounded - & loud - through the SPANISH FOOTBALL speakers.
Put a Football heroe, kids & a TV camara together & you get what happens to this poor boy. He literally hits the post - with his head. Arsenal & Dutch International Star Van Persie was obviously affected.
This video simply goes beyond Spanish Football as it is universal :O)Tweet
Source: SFS Blog According to Spanish daily “AS”, FC BARCELONA has ARSENAL FC Dutch International forward VAN PERSIE on their list of new 2010 – 2011 season objectives, along with the already mentioned below player David Villa. In fact the paper goes on further to mention that Barça is already talking with Arsenal about the 26 year old Dutchman. No need to remind you that another Arsenal player CESC FABREGAS is rumoured to be heading also Spain way next season, thus this will leave the English Club without two key players if theses stories turn out true.
Understandingly Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger is not too receptive to the idea of the Club selling Van Persie to Barcelona. But the Spanish Team is persistent & for now are holding firm to their objective. I see it difficult that Arsenal will sell two of its Top players, with Cesc Fabregas more likely than Persie to end up at Barça (or Real Madrid) if either do eventually leave the English Club.
Stay tuned! Anything is possible, especially with a World Cup coming up. Tweet
