REAL MADRID | JESUS VALLEJO PRESENTATION

Spanish Football Club REAL MADRID continues rejuvenating & adding the Best talent possible to their squad with the official presentation of young 20 year old Central Defender JESUS VALLEJO. The Spanish U21 International has the Nº 3 dorsal taking over from Pepe who has left the Club for Turkish Football. 

The young Football talent Vallejo was already the Captain of Real Zaragoza with just 18 years of age. Real Madrid signed the player & loaned him to German Club Eintracht Frankfurt were he has grown further as a Footballer. His performance in the recent U-21 European Championships has made Real Madrid bring back Jesus Vallejo to replace Pepe & begin his "era" with the current Spanish League & European Champion title holders. The defender will begin the pre-season from the start & will begin to find his position within the squad managed & Coached under Zidane.

It is expected that Real Madrid will continue to announce new signing in coming weeks. Ex-Atletico de Madrid ( Alaves) left defender THEO will be presented next in coming days, along with Marco Llorente who will also be called back from loan,  while Real Betis youngster & sensation Dani Ceballos is said to be very close.

Internationally, French International & Monaco 18 year old star MBAPPE is said to be a serious target as well. Things here a bit more complicated as PSG & Arsenal are also entered the bidding. However before launching after Mbappe Real Madrid wants to transfer Alvaro Morata & has asked for 90M€ as the transfer price. At this moment Manchester United is very interested but only offers 70-75M€. Real Madrid wants Mbappe to fill the space left by the a possible departure of Morata & reinvest the transfer money given for the French star.

SEVILLA FC SIGNS BRAZILIAN GANSO

Spanish Football Club Sevilla FC has paid 10M€ for Brazilian International Ganso.

The new Liga signing Ganso of 26 years of age midfielder is an express request from new Chilean Coach Sampaoli. In his long career in Brazil he has played 87 matches for Santos: where he has scored 15 goals and with 19 assists, while he has played 221 games for Sao Paulo: with 24 goals and 49 assists.

It is the 6th signing by Sevilla FC for the upcoming 2016-17 season. Ganso will travel soon to Sevilla to pass all the compulsory medical tests and sign with his new Club, to later join the team in the 'pre-season stage' in Germany.

SPANISH FOOTBALL LIGA | SIGNINGS NOT MAKING THE GRADE

Not much relevant & differing content from Spanish Football these days with the Liga on hold as the Football Calendar makes room for International commitments. However, Spanish Sports daily "Marca" publishes an interesting article worth a post. The paper looks at some of the big name signings for Liga Clubs this last summer & compares their playing time. Some names & their lack of team contribution will surprise.

Some notable examples, this summer FC Barcelona made a considerable economic effort to strengthen their defensive line. Two names Vermaelen &
Douglas were signed but have been virtually unseen, with the former with zero playing time due to injury & the latter just 73 min & a bad prformance in his only game to date. Another surprising name is Mexican International goalkeeper Ocha who has not played an official match as yet. This is surprising as he was a "revelation" in the last World Cup in Brazil. Lastly, another name to note - from the many - is Cerci who has only played 77 mins with Atletico de Madrid, he is currently a regular "bench warmer", but paradoxically has been called up to the Italian National Team.

Most of these names will have to lift their game & Club contribution as the "Winter Market Transfer" window opens the 1st of January & some may find themselves on the market as transfer opportunities or loan candidates.

FC BARCELONA ABOUT TO SIGN 17 YEAR OLD CROATIAN ALEN HALILOVIC

Alen Halilovic is a 17 year old Dynamo Zagreb player which has caught the attention of the big European Clubs. The son of ex-Valladolid player Sejad Halilovac, the Football observers project that the youngster is headed for big things in World Soccer. Spanish Football giant FC Barcelona has been following the boy for sometime & is about to shut the signing of Alen. Barça Football Director Zubizarreta is currently in the city of Zagreb to get the signature of Halilovic for next season.

The idea that Barça has in mind is to get the "kid" over for next season & put him into the Barcelona B team so he can adapt to Spanish Football, the "Barça way" of play & keep him evolving. The terms of the signing are not all too clear but some comment of a 5M€ payment with a series of extras that can be gotten by achieving "objectives".

Alen Halilovic has risen to grab the attention as a creative & talented left-footed midfielder who had Real Madrid & other European Clubs asking. FC Barcelona seems to have positioned themselves in the front row & are about to secure the future Football promise.

LIVERPOOL CLOSER TO GOALKEEPER VICTOR VALDES ?

It is no news that Spanish International & FC Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes will be leaving his Club at the end of the season. Apart from his what makes Valdes a prize to fight for is that he is free of transfer fee, a free agent, with costs that are only his salary.

With one of the World Best Goalkeepers on "the loose" European Clubs have their scouting men focused on Victor Valdes & are endeavouring to entice the player over to their Club. For months ( even last season ) French Club Monaco was the much talked about new destination for the Barça keeper. Today Barcelona based Spanish Sports paper "Sport" writes about English Premier League Club Liverpool.

According to the paper, Liverpool & Valdes have been talking for a while. In fact, "the Reds" have recently comeback with a bettered offer in order to convince the player to join them next season. Liverpool Coach Brendan Rodgers is said to have been insistent with his Club about Valdes & his desire to get him over.

As one would expect, there are talks that other Clubs are also sounding the Barça goalie, Clubs like PSG, teams in the US & Arab Clubs. However, there is another English Premier League Club that has won positions recently. According to "Mundo Deportivo" Manchester City is pressuring to convince Valdes, this is a very serious move & could be a real threat to the Liverpool aspirations. I would keep an eye on developments with City.

The player himself has been silent all this time preferring his representative do the work while he concentrates 100% on his Football & on FC Barcelona.

XABI ALONSO TO STAY AT REAL MADRID | WILL RENEW HIS CONTRACT

Huge sigh of relief for Real Madrid Directives, the Technical Staff, the squad & the fan base after Spanish International midfielder & 32 year old player Xabi Alonso announced formally his intention to continue at the Club & renew contract.

The wait has been long, & perhaps with hindsight over exaggerated. The very latest was that Xabi Alonso would leave due to "personal reasons", however in the last days "alternative" commentators suggested a financial motive was also in play. Seems the financial obstacle was "higher" than the "personal" & it has been jumped. 

Whatever the real reason, Xabi Alonso has been offered a 2 year extension to his contract with an option to a 3rd season. Also his yearly salary of 4M€ jumps now to 6M€ which is not too bad at all.

The other European Football Club pretenders were Italian Club Juventus & some English Premier League Clubs with Chelsea FC in the forefront.  One can say that this is a "true" Winter Market signing by Real Madrid which secures one of the Best Midfielders in World Football & a player many agree is currently irreplaceable in the current World Soccer scene.

REAL MADRID SIGNING NEWS | CURRENT FOUR CANDIDATES - EXITS

The major European Football Clubs are making their moves & planning the upcoming 2013-2014 season. Real Madrid CF is one of them & rumours - as expected - are fast flying around on a daily basis. The associated names 6 possible next season candidates are long, but today I would like to home-in on four candidates. Just four names that are sounding on a regular basis, persistently, come from varying news sources & seem consistent. 

The four current Real Madrid candidates for next season are:

• Sergio Aguero ( Manchester City ) 
• Isco ( Malaga FC )
• Gareth Bale ( Tottenham Hotspurs )
• Carvajal ( Bayern Laverkusen )

In order to enter,  players must leave. Currently these names are sounding to see the exit door:

• Antonio Adan ( Goalkeeper)
• Ricardo Carvalho ( Defender)
• Raul Albiol ( Defender)
• Essien ( on-loan back to Chelsea FC)
• Kaka ( Midfielder )
• Higuain or Benzema ( Forwards) 

But exit names are not only on the players front. It is speculated that Coach José Mourinho will leave at the end of the season. The Clubs sounding as a new possible home for the Portuguese Coach are Chelsea FC, Paris St Germain & Inter Milan. However nothing is confirmed or certain at all with Mourinho & things will depend on how things evolve from here to the end of the season ( how the team progresses in Champions League & the Spanish Cup Final).

In summary, this is the current state of affairs at Real Madrid to this date with their next season planning. This can change tomorrow or next week. Football is in constant flux & names of players keep appearing on a daily basis. We have said nothing about Falcao or Cavani, but they to have been doing the rumour circuit as well lately & are not to be discarded at all.
