I always thought it was “illiegal”, according to FIFA rules, to touch (negotiate) a player still under contract with his Club. I understand that if a Club is interested in a player at another Club that the former contacts the latter & begins to negotiate with the player staying at the margin. Perhaps someone can confirm me this?
Anyway, I start with all the above because Spanish Sports daily “Marca” has announced that REAL MADRID has received the OK from LAZIO Serbian Left Back KOLAROV. The Serb has pushed back offers from Manchester City & Inter Milan to express his only desire to play at the Spanish Club.
Now, Real Madrid has to make (& convince) Italian Club Lazio to sell & release the defender. Last published statement from Lazio President to a speculated 15M€ Spanish offer was met with a “…15M€ is the price of one of the boots of Kolarov”. Firm message to Real Madrid who will have to offer more if they are to finally pull out of Lazio Kolarov.

Lazio Left back Defender & Serbian International KOLAROV is the chosen player that many think Real Madrid will also be making a firm offer & a very serious attempt to get over to Madrid. The 24 year old player is considered to be a “Roberto Carlos proto-type” sharing profile qualities such as strength, speed & powerful shooting capabilities.
