FC BARCELONA MAKES OFFICIAL KEIRRISON SIGNING

FC BARCELONA continues with their new player signings. The Club
has announced officially on their web that they have signed young 21
year old Brazilian promise KEIRRISON da Souza Carneiro from
Brazilian Club PALMEIRAS

The transfer operation is estimated at 16M€ & signs for 5 years. The
most likely strategy of the Club will be to loan the player to a
competent European Club (BENFICA, OPORTO & AJAX is being
talked) so the forward can get European Football experience &
continue maturing as a player to then be called back & form part of
the Barça team.

FC BARCELONA NEWS: KEIRRISION & THIERRY HENRY

Barcelona based daily “Sport” announce ( it´s on their front cover) that FC
BARCELONA has come to an initial agreement with 20 year old Brazilian
youngster KEIRRISON de Souza Carneiro, currently playing for Brazilian
team PALMEIRAS. The young player is the “pearl” of Brazilian Football at
the moment with 57 goals in the last 16 months & has other Clubs hovering
as well like Liverpool, Real Madrid & Valencia CF. The estimate price for
Keirrison is said to be around 15M€ which usually ends up rising with
negotiations. Stay tuned to see if their is any real substance to this story!

More news from “Sport” & this time on THIERRY HENRY , is that FC
BARCELONA is talking with the Frenchmen to extend his current contract
3 years more. The French International has recovered his form & is seen
happier after his hard adaptation to Spanish Football & is again scoring lots
of goals. SFS reminds as well that stories from the UK say that Manchester
City is interested in Henry & are preparing an offer to get him over for next
season.

YOUNG KEIRRISON "SENDS A MESSAGE" TO FC BARCELONA?

According to local sports paper “AS”, the young Brazilian Football (Soccer)
promise & goal scoring star KEIRRISON is sending “love messages”
to Spanish Club FC BARCELONA. The PALMEIRAS player that in
Brazil they call the “new Romario”, or “K9” after finishing as the maximum
goal scorer of the passed Brazilian Championship with 21 goals has said
to TV “ESPN” that he admires Barcelona & dreams of playing alongside
Leonel Messi.

The youngster has been followed in the last years by several big European
Clubs & is on the verge of making the jump to European Football. If we
are to believe news sources, his desire is Spanish Football & FC Barcelona.
However, if we follow observation & experience Brazilian Footballers
(not all, but most) will usually finally go to the Club that bids highest.
