MOTO GP - VALENCIA 2009: SPANIARDS DOMINATE

Spanish riders won all three catagories of the MOTOGP Valencia
circuit today & the last for the 2009 season.

In the Gp catagory, Spaniard PEDROSA won from the start as he pulled
away & opened an unbeatable lead. Italian & 2009 World Champion
Valentino Rossi finished second with Sub-2009 World Champ & Spaniard
LORENZO third. Earlier Casey Stoner fell on the warm-up lap & did not
start.

GP Final World Championship standings:
1.Rossi 306pts; 2. Lorenzo 261pts; 3. Pedrosa 234pts

In the 250cc catagory Spanish rider HECTOR BARBERÁ won ahead of
Spaniard BAUTISTA & Italian De ROSSI. Barberá managed to finish
Sub-2009 World Champion behind AOYAMA who took the 2009 World
Championship title after a scare when he went off the track to
luckily come back in. Italian Simoncelli fell & said goodbye to his
slim chances of beating Aoyama for the title.

250cc Final World Championship standings:
1.Aoyama 261pts; 2.Barberá 239pts; 3.Simoncelli 231pts

In the 125cc catagory Spanish 2009 World Champion JULIAN SIMON
won ahead of the Brit SMITH & Spaniard ESPARGARÓ

125cc Final World Championship standings:
1. Simon 289pts; 2. Smith 223,5pts 3.Terol 179,5pts

MOTO GP - MALAYSIA 2009: ROSSI WINS NINTH CHAMPIONSHIP & SIMON WINS IN 125CC

SFS congratulates VALENTINO ROSSI for his 9th World Championship
after finishing 3ºrd & ahead of rival Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo to
give the Italian an unbeatable lead with only one race left this season.

The "Old Chook" (chicken) laided his ninth "golden egg" as shown on
the podium while he celebrated.
























However, Australian Casey Stoner took the race with Spanish rider
Dani Pedrosa coming in second.

The 250cc catagory saw Japanese rider Aoyama get closer to the
World title after winning ahead of Spaniard Hector Barbara & Italian
Simoncelli.

250cc - Current World title standings:
1. Aoyama 227pts; 2. Simoncelli 215pts; 3. Bautista 194pts


















In the 125cc catagory, newly crowned World Champion Julian Simon
(above) won ahead of Smith & Spanish rider Esparago.

MOTO GP AUSTRALIA : JULIAN SIMON 125cc WORLD CHAMPION

Great news from Australia after the three categories of Moto GP
have been run with Spanish 125cc rider JULIAN SIMON proclaiming
himself WORLD CHAMPION for 2009.

In the other categories not so much good news with Bautista falling
behind in the 250cc title race & Jorge Lorenzo falling off his bike
saying goodbye to all chances for the GP title.
