REAL MADRID has defeated BAYERN MUNICH 1 - 2 in the 1º leg match semi-final of CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. Very handy result for the Spanish Club that gives them two valuable away goals & an advantage for the return leg down for the 3rd of May in Madrid. The semi-final is still wide open & the Germans still have their options open but will need an enormous effort to pull this result back.
Bayern Munich did not play badly at all, in fact the Germans had the Spanish team on the back foot most of the match. They created numerous goal opportunities, but Real Madrid had the "luck of the Champions" along with an inspired Real Madrid goalkeeper in Kaylor Navas. The Real Madrid goalie made numerous saves, especially from Ribery, that kept his team alive.
Along with all this, Bayern Munich was unlucky in the injury "department". They lost Robben early in the 1º st half to injury & a little later defender Boateng which obviously shifted the Bayern Munich match plans. However the Germans & their substitute team-mates made an extraordinary effort to keep the level high, create permanent danger & hold the side solid.
Said all this, experience won the night. REAL MADRID has greater Champions League experience & even after the first Bayern Munich goal in the 28 min by KIMMICH, the Spaniard remained cool under pressure. In fact they remained cool during the continual waves of attacks, that if Bayern had played another Club not Real Madrid, the Germans would have had this semi-final wrapped up. Bayern winger Ribery can vouch for this as he gave everything tonight & was their main "spearhead" upfront, to only see how his numerous goal opportunities were foiled time after time.
Real Madrid just needs to exploited their given chances & their opponents mistakes to get ahead in the match. Their equalizer came in the "psychological" moment of the game, the 44th min when MARCELO got onto a ball in a magnificent fashion for goal. Real Madrid Coach Zidane made a substitution for the 2º half with ASENSIO coming on for Isco, & it paid off quickly. ASENSIO scored the second goal ( & the winner ) in the 57th min after a Bayern midfield mistake that gave the ball to Lucas Vazquez who found Asensio.
This was enough & Real Madrid then pulled from experience to manage the times, the fouls & the defending. Speaking of defending, CRISTIANO RONALDO will not be on tomorrows front page of the Sports papers, but his performance was absolutely outstanding. Tonight he sacrificed the "limelight" to do the "dirt work" of defending & chasing down Bayern Munich players. When he did appear they disallowed (correctly) a fabulous goal for hand-ball.
Excellent victory for Real Madrid which has to finish off the work next week. Bayern Munich will attempt everything the can to stop Real Madrid & attempt to turn around this semi-final tie to their advantage. Another great Football game assured.

JAMES RODRIGUEZ GOES TO BAYERN MUNICH
Its official. Real Madrid & Colombian International james Rodriguez heads off to German Club Bayern Munich on loan. The move is good for James, great for Bayern & excellent for Real Madrid as it firms relationships with the German Club.
The conditions are good. The player goes on loan to Bayern until June 30th of 2019, after which the German Club has the option of buying outright. Bayern Munich pays 5M€ per season for the loan, plus the players 8M€ salary; if the buying option is taken the transfer price is 32,5M€. Real Madrid will receive around 45M€ for a player which cost them 80M€, however not all is down to money, Real Madrid saves salaries, gets rid of a potential problem & maintains good relations with Bayern.

Negotiations were accelerated in the last hours so to avoid James Rodriguez going with the Real Madrid squad to the United States & doing the pre-season. Instead James Rodriguez begins pre-season with Bayern Munich & will travel to China were the Germans have some friendlies & the Colombian plenty of "marketing power".
We wish James the best.
RAPHAEL VARANE THE DARLING OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CLUBS
Real Madrid French International Central Defender Raphael Varane is considered one of the Best defenders in World Football. Young, quick, solid & full of confidence the player has two giants of World Soccer focusing on him.
Manchester United, who is said will be Coached next season by Jose Mourinho, is said to be preparing a 35M€ offer to get the Frenchman over to "Old Trafford". The other Club is Bayern Munich who will be taken over by Coach Carlo Ancelloti, is also said to be very interested
Raphael Varane has worked under both Coaches & has obviously impressed.
While Varane is not a permanent starter at Real Madrid, I would bet the defender ain´t going no where fast. Firstly, current Coach Zidane was the person that brought him over to Real Madrid. Secondly, while Varane interchanges with Pepe, the future is Varane. Thirdly, from Real Madrid there are few places to leave too. Fourthly, the defender is worth around 60€, much more than the said offers.
The player via his agent may be playing poker with these signing interests to get a better & renewed contract with Real Madrid, claim a more permanent role or just receive more tender loving care.
Stay tuned!

ATLETICO MADRID INTO FINAL & ELIMINATES BAYERN MUNICH | CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Spanish Football Club Atletico de Madrid eliminated tonight German Club Bayern Munich from the Champions League competition to win a place in the Final. The final result of the 2º leg return match of the Champions League semi-final was 2 - 1 for Bayern Munich, but the away goal & the 2 - 2 aggregate result was enough for Atletico.
Hard fought out match with two clear heroes for Atletico de Madrid, goalkeeper Oblak who stopped a penalty from Muller in the 1º st half & Antoine Griezmann who scored the goal away worth double in the 53rd min.
It was obvious that Bayern Munich would go all out to get the result & the tie. The Germans boxed in the Spaniard most of the 1º st half with a Xabi Alonso free-kick goal in the 30th min included. Shortly after while Bayern was on a roll a penalty was called in the 33rd min. Muller had the chance to put the semi-final firmly in the hands of the Germans but Oblak stopped it, or Muller failed. Either way it was an important turning point that was to change the course of things around.
In the 2º half Atletico Coach Simeone made his "master move" & decision, to take off a defensive midfielder Augusto & put on an attacker Carrasco. Atletico changed from 4-4-2 to a 4-3-3 system which made Bayern move back more within their area. Atletico had decided to change from defending exclusively to take the game in the German area. The move paid off when Griezmann combined with Griezmann in a 1 - 2 touch action that left the French alone with only Neuer to beat, which he did in the 53rd min to score.
The away goal now forced Bayern to score twice if they were to survive, & the Bayern attacks began again its advances. Ribery was dangerous, Alaba was outstanding, Vidal a nuisance but very active & Lewandowski always dangerous. Atletico sinned by again falling back in defence to wait for Bayern & they paid a second German goal when Alaba found the head of Vidal who headed into the path of Lewandowski in the 73rd min.
Nervous & tense moments, Atletico was brave enough to attack a tiring Bayern defence which committed penalty on Fernando Torres in the 83rd min (fouled by Martinez). However, Fernando Torres had his penalty attempt stopped by Bayern Munich goalie Neuer & the Germans were still alive.
The remaining 10 mins was Bayern attacks after attack, but At. Madrid held firm till the final whistle to go into the Champions League final.
Tomorrow we will know the other finalist when Real Madrid hosts Manchester City in their 2º leg return semi-final.

AT MADRID 1 BAYERN MUNICH 0 | CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI - FINAL RESULT
Spanish Football Club Atletico de Madrid won 1 - 0 German giant Bayern Munich in tonight's 1º leg Champions League semi-final clash. Brilliant & emotional game that had everything & much more. The semi-final tie is still wide open as the Spaniards must travel to Munich for the 2º leg match next week, but the sensations are good for Atletico
Atletico Madrid overpowered Bayern Munich in the first 15 minutes of the game. Their pressure was intense & were awarded with an 11th min goal from youngster Saul. A player who has came of age & has earned himself to be a serious candidate for the Spanish National Team for the upcoming Euro 2016 Championship. Spanish team Coach & Selector Vicente del Bosque was in the crowd watching & must have been delighted with the performance of Saul & his outstanding goal.
In the second half Bayern Munich showed why they are a top class Football act as they dominated most of the last 45 min. Bayern Brazilian winger Costa is a class act along with team-mates Alba & company. The Germans put under siege the Spanish area & here appeared another name, Atletico goalkeeper Olbak who was outstanding. Two close calls, Alaba hit the bar while Fernando Torres hit the post. Both actions which could have radically changed the course of this semi-final.
Lastly, the defensive exhibition from Atletico de Madrid during the German Blitzkrieg in the second half was a "Masterclass". A defensive wall which repelled everything thrown at it, standing firm, with every player showing solidarity & intensity. A theoretical lessen that many Coaches will be studying & we were privileged to witness tonight in motion. Mention here to the tireless Atletico midfielder Augusto, along with Central defender Gimenez & Savic. In all fairness it was a total & collective supreme effort.
Now off to Munich to settle the tie, hope we get the same level of game as tonight.

REAL MADRID - ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI | SOMETHING GOING ON
The Real Madrid - Robert Lewandowski rumours seems to have a real connection. The lastest piece stamped over local Spanish Sports papers is the comments from Cezary Kucharski the players representative picked up by polsatsport.pl.
When asked at a recent Football ceremony the representative was asked... "Is there anything going on with Real Madrid"? The answer from Kucharski was "There is".
With these comments, there seems to be no doubt that there are real possibilities that the Bayern Munich striker could end up next season at Real Madrid. However, the negotiations are apparently being tough as news sources cite that the player asks for 18M€ per season. Big money as this would put the player with the Cristiano Ronaldo salary range.
Added to this, German Club Bayern Munich will not make it easy. They will fight to keep their player, & if unsuccessful will ask for a 100M€ transfer price. If this was not a difficult hurdle for Real Madrid, a new competitor may intervene in the player operation.
Manchester City, which will have current Bayern Munich Coach Guardiola next season, has their sights also on the Polish forward.
Stay tuned!
08.02.2016 Today the players representative Cezary Kucharski denied any connection with Real Madrid. This indicates that there is :O)

LEWANDOWSKI | SAYS ONLY GOES TO REAL MADRID
Real Madrid News
The Robert Lewandowski affair with Real Madrid has a history. Years back when the Polish forward was at Borussia Dortmund, & after defeating Real Madrid at the "Santiago Bernabeu Stadium" in Champions League game, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez went down to the dressing rooms looking for the forward. It is said that both crossed each other & Perez asked Lewandoski, "would you like to play at Real Madrid"? The forward declined with education & finally went to Bayern Munich where he have a pre-agreement, but neither have forgotten each other or that first brief encounter.
Currently both are said to be "dancing" to the transfer tune, metaphorically speaking. The Football Sports papers have been dedicating space & headlines speculating about possible negotiations, with circunstancial evidence added when the players representative was invited by Real Madrid President to watch a game.
Latest news comes out from England & the paper "The Independent" where they claim Lewandowski has rejected succulent offers from Manchester United, Manchester City & Chelsea FC. The reason? The Bayern Munich forward only wants to go to Real Madrid.
So keen is the apparent interest that it is written that Lewandowski has accepted to wait a further year if FIFA is successful with their non-signing sanction until 2017 placed on Real Madrid in the "under-age players accusations". If Real Madrid successfully appeals the FIFA sanction, Lewandowski landing at Real Madrid could be sooner, next summer.
Stay tuned for further developments.

BAYERN MUNICH 3 FC BARCELONA 2 | BARÇA THROUGH TO FINAL WITH 5-3 AGGREGATE
Spanish Football Club FC Barcelona eliminated German Club Bayern Munich tonight after taking the semi-final home & away tie 5 - 3 on overall aggregate. The actual final score of tonight's 2º leg match was a 3 - 2 victory for Bayern Munich a just score & fair reward for a proud showing of Football from their part.
The endeavour to attempt to turn around this semi final from the Bayern point of view was always going to be an extreme task with all the odds against them. However, the Germans deserve merit & put in an excellent match showing courage, a belief in themselves right until the end & a performance worthy of what they actual are in European & World Football ; a Great & Champion Club.
The match started intensely with Bayern looking for the early goals to attempt the "miracle". The doors of possibility opened very soon with their 7th min opening header from defender Benatia. It was looking very positive & hopeful for the Germans until Barça settled themselves & shut the door firmly with deadly & effective attacking Football that combined Suarez, Messi & Neymar. The equalizer for Barça came in the 15th min when Suarez found Neymar who tapped in the ball & the the second goal came in the 30th min with Neymar again finishing off a Messi & Suarez combo. An almost knock-out punch that took the wind out of the Bayern Munich sails.
But as mentioned, undaunted by the Football reality Bayern kept looking for the necessary goals to make the miracle, but smashed into one of the players of the night for Barcelona, their goalie Ter Stegen who made 3-4 outstanding saves (one off the line) that kept Bayern "on hold".
The second half was taken with a bit more calm by Barça & the rhythm fell. However, the German pride dominated & Bayern kept looking for the goals & at least the victory in front of their supporters. The equalizer from Bayern came in the 59th min through Lewandowski & the third - their winner - in the 74th min through Muller.
Barça then concentrated on keeping things under control & dampening the German enthusiasm as much as they could, just in case of a possible accident. The final whistle blew & Barcelona celebrated their pass into the UEFA Champions League Final in Berlin next month, their 8th final where they have won four.
Tomorrow their Finals opponent will be known from the Real Madrid - Juventus semi-final 2º leg game were the Italians take a slight lead after their 2-1 result from the 1º leg. Another Top match that cannot be missed.

BAYERN MUNICH - FC BARCELONA | POSSIBLE STARTING 11 LINE-UPS
FC Barcelona takes a magnificent 3 goals in their pocket over to Germany to play Bayern Munich in the 2º leg semi final of the UEFA Champions League tonight. With this advantage Barça is a game away of getting into the Berlin Final. However, Bayern Munich have faith that they can turn around the tie, thus making this game a "must see".
The possible starting 11 line-ups for both teams look straight forward. For FC Barcelona they will keep with the 11 players that did the job last week:
FC BARCELONA : Stegen, Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Alba, Busquets, Ratikic, Iniesta, Suarez, Messi & Neymar
Bayern Munich has some top players out with injury & Coach Guardiola has what he has available, with the possible exception of starting this time with Gotze. Last week the Coach surprised - & was criticised - for not starting with the player. If Bayern Munich are to turn things around they have to put in a very offensive line up:
BAYERN MUNICH : Neuer, Bernat, Benatia, Boateng, Rafinha, Xabi Alonso, Lahm, Thiago, Muller, Gotze & Lewandowski
Said this, these are speculated pre-match starting 11 line-up predictions. Changes may well occur as Coaches could have surprises up their sleeve. Stay tuned!

FC BARCELONA 3 BAYERN MUNICH 0 | 1º ST LEG SEMI CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
The 2nd UEFA Champions League 1º leg semi-final match concluded with FC Barcelona defeating 3 - 0 Bayern Munich. A marvellous game of intense & tactical Football that needed the brilliance of Lionel Messi to break the "gridlock".
Both teams should be congratulated, Barcelona for the win & Bayern Munich for their brave attitude attempting to play offensive Football while tactical firm defensively while it lasted. It was FC Barcelona that created more the opportunities as their squad is filled with the highest individuals talents in World Football. This is not putting Bayern Munich a step below, not at all, as they too are packed with stars, some out of this planet like their goalkeeper Neuer who made 3 - 4 game savers in his habitual extraordinary fashion.
The German created their own chances only failing to finish them off & they seriously frustrated Barça most of the second half making many observers think perhaps a draw result would be achieved.
However, Lionel Messi appeared & burst onto the scene changing the course of the game in favour of his team & perhaps setting them firmly on the road to the Berlin Final. The Argentine had been relatively kept under control most of the game but in the 77th min he appeared like a Superhero scoring the opener & 3 minutes later scoring the 2º goal leaving Bayern defender Boateng on the floor & beating Neuer in magical fashion.
These two blows were "knock-out" punches as they drained the moral out from the German who had done an excellent game up to that point. With the tiredness setting in from their earlier efforts, their mental strength lessened & Barça surfing their own wave of confidence, Neymar scored the 3rd goal in the 94th min with collaboration from Suarez. The ticket to the Berlin Final is virtually secured barring an enormous effort from Bayern Munich next week to turn this semi around. It is possible, but the odds are stacked against it.

THE END OF THE ROAD FOR SAMI KHEDIRA AT REAL MADRID ?
The Liga loss against City rival Atletico de Madrid 4 - 0 by Real Madrid has left causalities. Marked down as the worst match under Coach Ancelotti, Club President Perez has had to intervene to put in a voice of authority.
Some players have been seriously "wounded", have lost credibility & maybe will be banished forever. Local media & fans are pointing the finger at Iker Casillas, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Nacho, Coentrao & Sami Khedira - to say a few. Many - not all - of those mentioned then went off after the game to celebrate the 30th birthday of Cristiano Ronaldo with lots of "happy faces" shown in their social media accounts. A situation that has rubbed up even more Real Madrid fans which witness the lethargic & embarrassing performance of their team against Atletico de Madrid.
However, one player in particular may experience the full effects of last Saturdays disappointment, midfielder Sami Khedira. The German did not put in a good show & was later injured - 3 weeks out is the diagnostic. Later the German was seen partying with certain "flow" at the Ronaldo party. This last part is private & should not be a factor, but the midfielder could have been more cautious in his manners.
Will this "atmosphere" Spanish radio last night announced that Sami Khedira will no longer play with the team this season. Added to which, that newly signed Brazilian Lucas Silva will be taking on as of now the midfield responsibilities of Khedira. There is the idea that Sami Khedira has his head elsewhere, with many speculating that he has a pre-contract with Bayern Munich for next season. This obviously effects the on-field efforts of the player.
If true, harsh indeed for the World Champion who may feel he is a scapegoat. But Football has no past, & if things get awkward & injuries mount-up Coach Ancelotti may have to turn to the German in the future. Either way, we are seeing the end of the Real Madrid road for Sami Khedira who has gone through the Club without much glory, lots of injuries & with lots of doubts.

SAMI KHEDIRA HAS A PRE-CONTRACT WITH BAYERN MUNICH ?
Real Madrid & German International midfielder Sami Khedira becomes a free-agent as of the 1st of January, that is, the player can negotiate with any Club & leave free of a transfer fee at the end of the season. The German ends his contract with Real Madrid the 30th of June 2015 & has not renewed with the Club, in fact, Khedira has knocked back offers from Real Madrid all last season.
Spanish radio has commented that the midfielder has a "pre-agreement"/ pre-contract with Bayern Munich. The German Football giant are willing to pay Sami Khedira a more attractive contract now that the player can go over without a transfer.
The injury of Real Madrid Croatian midfielder Modric - out for 8 weeks - has given back a protagonist role to Khedira. The player will have more playing time & Khedira himself has hinted that perhaps he should stay at Real Madrid. However, Real Madrid is reported to be "disgruntled" with the players early negative responses to their contract renewal offers & more so with his apparent "pre-contract" with Bayern Munich.
There is a list of ex-Real Madrid players who decided to risk & play "poker" with the Spanish Football Club that have lost professionally speaking: Higuain, Ozil, Di Maria etc. Sami Khedira may be regretting his strategy, but it may be too late to consider staying on at the biggest Club in World Football.

SPANISH FOOTBALL RUMOURS | MUNIR & SAMI KHEDIRA
Interesting news coming out of Spain in reference to possible signing interests for players from Spain s two biggest Football Clubs, FC Barcelona & Real Madrid.
The first news piece comes from France - "Le10Sport1" - picked up locally by Spanish Sports media. According to the French source Paris St Germain & Bayern Munich have set their aim & target on young Barça sensation Muñir. Apparently the players Club value is around the 12M€ mark thus making the Footballer a bargain. Obviously FC Barcelona has the option of bettering the players contract & economic conditions which would make it harder for interested third parties to swoop away the youngster. In fact, the news piece could be a "planned strategy" from within the Munir "inner circle" to force FC Barcelona to negotiate & better the conditions of the player. Stay tuned!
The other news piece comes from England. The unofficial statement is that Arsenal FC has reached agreement with Real Madrid to transfer German International midfielder Sami Khedira in the "Winter Market". The transfer fee being said is 14M€ & its an expressed petition from Arsenal Coach Wenger. Stay tuned!

XABI ALONSO CLOSE TO LEAVING FOR BAYERN MUNICH
Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso is making news today, not only has he announced his retirement from the Spanish National Football Team, but there is a "flash" that Alonso may be close to German giant Bayern Munich.
Spanish Sports media has picked up this afternoon that Xabi Alonso has full agreement with Bayern Munich & now depends on the negotiations at Club level. Real Madrid is likely to not put too many obstacles but will ask for money which is speculated to be around 10M€. The player is said to have been offered a fantastic contract of around 10M€/season.
The arrival of Toni Kroos at Real Madrid has forced the situation as the German has become a regular starter putting Alonso on the bench. Bayern Munich & their Coach Guardiola are currently suffering in the midfield area precisely due to the exit of Toni Kroos & the injury of Javi Martinez. Coach Guardiola considers Xabi Alonso as the perfect substitute & the piece need to bring back the missing equilibrium to his midfield.
Stay tuned for developments. This story & option does make sense to all parties & the relations between Real Madrid & Bayern Munich are optimal.

ATLETICO DE MADRID LOOKS FOR "GOAL": SHAQUIRI, CERCI OR LAVEZZI
There is concern at Atletico de Madrid with the lack of goal effectiveness. The pre-season & yesterdays 0-0 result in Round 1 of Spanish Liga against Rayo Vallecano highlighted the lack of "goal punch".
Atletico de Madrid has signed well; Mandzukic, Griezzmann & Raul Jimenez, but they still need time to get into the groove & many still remember Diego Costa & his explosive counter-attack runs from midfield. With the Summer transfer summer window to close the 31st of August Clubs are rushing to shut their final offers & transfer/signing attempts.
Spanish Sports paper "AS" informs that Atletico de Madrid has targeted Swiss International & Bayern Munich player Shaquiri. The problem is that Italian Club Juventus FC is also interested & is bidding hard for the Swiss. Added to all this it seems the player has his own preference & would prefer to play in Italy.
Atletico has alternatives in case Shaquiri fails, names being said are Cerci (Torino) & Lavezzi (Paris St Germain). The former was nearly a "done deal" days back & Cerci even put on his Twitter that he was going over to Atletico before removing the tweet & blaming "hackers".
Stay tuned, it looks as if Atletico de Madrid may make a final push & effort to sign one of the mentioned players in the next days.

FC BARCELONA EYES JEROME BOATENG ?
Just been announced on Spanish Sports radio that Bayern Munich & German International defender Jerome Boateng is said to be on the list of possible candidates for FC Barcelona. The Spanish Football Club is having difficulties finding "suitable" Central Defenders within the "Barça profile" on the market & has placed its eye on Boateng.
It has been mentioned (always by the said local source) that Bayern Munich has placed a 39M€ price tag in order to start talking. The 25 year old is reliable in defence & strong in the air, apart from being "cheaper" than Fiorentina defender Cuadrado who is priced at 50M€.
The also apparent - or not - interest from rival Real Madrid has speed up FC Barcelona Directives to make the moves necessary to figure if this signing option is viable. Stay tuned!

ATLETICO DE MADRID SHUTS MANDZUKIC FOR 22M€ ?
It is hot news currently coming out from Germany, via "Bild", the English Press & racing around the social media channels. According to all of them Spanish Football Club & Liga Champions Atletico de Madrid is very close to shutting (or has already) the transfer-signing of Croatian International & Bayern Munich forward Mario Mandzukic.
In fact German paper "Bild" has gone further & says the deal is done. I personally however advise caution & await official Clubs announcements.
The details published say the operation will cost the Spanish Football Club 22M€. The 28 year old has been offered a contract until 2019, that is, three years more than his current Club Bayern Munich.
If all of the above is true, Mandzukic knocks back offers from the English Premier League. While the speculation-rumour that Manchester City Spanish International forward Alvaro Negredo was to be the new At.Madrid signing also falls.
The Spanish Club needs to fill the gap left behind in its squad with the transfer of Diego Costa to Chelsea FC. Local Football observers cite that Atletico de Madrid Coach Diego Simeone likes the profile & characteristics of Mario Mandzukic who scored 18 goals in the German League last season.
Stay tuned for an official confirmation.

BAYERN MUNICH SIGNS YOUNG JUAN BERNAT FROM VALENCIA CF
German giant Bayern Munich has announced the signing of 21 year old Valencia CF & Spanish U-21 winger JUAN BERNAT. The player had another year of contract with Valencia CF but was sold for 10M€. Surprising as Valencia CF lets go a huge talent that Bayern Munich did not doubt for a minute in getting over to their Club.
The player is known for being extremely rapid, with excellent skills & a powerful shoot at goal. Qualities that Bayern Munich Football Director Sammer recognized after saying that the Club had been following very closely Bernat for sometime.
From here we wish the player all the luck in the World at Bayern Munich & congratulate the Germans for their keen eye & excellent acquisition. The Spaniard is a future European Football talent that will give plenty of glory in the future.

REAL MADRID - BAYERN MUNICH NEGOTIATING FOR TONI KROSS?
Spanish Sports paper "Marca" has gone out this morning with the story that Spanish Football Club Real Madrid CF & Bayern Munich have began negotiations over German International Player & 24 year old midfielder Toni Kross. This "rumour" has been ongoing for months & it seems - according to the paper - that it is slowly becoming a reality.
The Bayern Munich player has one year of contract left & he has refused to extend it telling his current Club that he desires to play elsewhere. It is in the interests of Bayern Munich to sell Kross this season because not to do so allows the player to go next season to the Club of choice free of a transfer fee. As of the 1st of January 2015 the player becomes a free agent.
Real Madrid has the negotiation advantage & it is written that they have made a 25-30M€ offer to Bayern Munich for Toni Kross. The Player & Real Madrid seem to have come to an agreement already with the Spanish Football Club offering a 5 year contract with a 5M€/season salary.
As I always add we will all have to wait until official notice from the Clubs before jumping to conclusions. The player will not make an announcement - or a visible move - while concentrated with Germany in the World Cup where his National squad is attempting to keep advancing & trying to win the title.
Stay tuned!
PS. Competition Sports daily "AS" publish all the contrary. They write that the players representative Volker Struth denies any negotiation with Real Madrid or any other Club. He claims Kross will decide after the World Cup.

TONI KROSS IN THE LIST OF REAL MADRID POSSIBILITIES
Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti has given instructions to Club Directives for the desired new incorporations for next season. The names are many but the "main plan/area" is to build up further the midfield zone (apart from others), thus Ancelotti has given a "list" of candidates" with the other areas - like a Centre Forward - open to a wider decision that will be warmly welcomed if it occurs.
The names circulating the "rumour mill" for the midfield are two players from Juventus FC, Pogba & Arturo Vidal & a player that Ancelotti likes a lot, Italian International & PSG player Marco Verratti. All three have contracts with their respective Clubs, apart from interests from other Clubs. For Real Madrid to get these players "on-board" will need long negotiations & lots of money.
In the last week another interesting name has appeared as possible Real Madrid signing: Toni Kross. The Bayern Munich & German International ends contract next year & has not renewed. This is a clear indicator that the player wants to change Clubs & try a new Football adventure elsewhere. Real Madrid seems to be his desired Club, as his representative has offered his player & has meet with the Spanish Club up to three times. Real Madrid does not want to enter into a "transfer war" &/or "hostilities" with the German Club which they enjoy cordial & a respectful relationship.
With this in mind, the player seems to have taken on the initiative & has requested Bayern Munich Directives to hear offers & especially the interest from Real Madrid. He has reiterated that he has no intentions of renewing his actual contract with them.
Real Madrid has no rush to sign at this point as it watches developments from Munich. Meanwhile English Premier League Club Manchester United is also interested & may get the German International if Real Madrid does not make a move soon or a "signal" that they are in fact ready to pounce.
Stay tuned for developments. When you are the European Champions, players come looking themselves, Real Madrid knows this & will use it to its advantage. They have time, money & prestige on their side.
