FC BARCELONA ANNOUNCE ARDA TURAN SIGNING

While FC Barcelona awaits the result of their upcoming Presidential Club elections the "Intern Management Team" has announced the signing of Turkish International & Atletico de Madrid midfielder Arda Turan. The player signs for the next 5 seasons & costs Barça 34M€ plus 7M€ in variables in accordance with agreed objectives reached by club & player.

However there are a couple of catches:

1. Arda Turan won´t be available to play with Barça until the 1st of January 2016,
2. The newly elected President - if not Bartomeu - can decide to revoke the agreement & signing if he decides so as from the 20th of July.

The rush to sign the player came from the last President Bartomeu who cites the solicitation from Coach Luis Enrique, the pressure from Atletico de Madrid to sell & from the player who has other offers on the table.

Everything indicates that there will be no problem with the transfer & signing, but one will have to await the Presidential election result & see who wins & if he (his Directive Team) are in accord with the operation.

ARDA TURAN | GET PAID MORE RUN LESS

Turkish International 28 year old midfielder Arda Turan has officially communicated to Atletico de Madrid Directives that he wishes to leave the Club. Reasons? Two:

• Has offers that promises more money,
• Runs too much at Atletico de Madrid.

What !...you may say looking at the 2º  reason, but this is what Spanish Sports paper "Marca" publish. Apparently Atletico Coach Simeone makes the Turk run too much in his tactical set-up. If this is true, its something I haven´t heard before publicly from a Football Player for wanting to leave a Club. Alternatively it could be a "Club thing" to sway public & fan opinion away from the player to allow an easier exit.

Either way, Turan has apparently a Paris St Germain offer & a possible FC Barcelona offer as well with one of the Club Presidential candidates - Bartolmeo. Also there is rumour that Manchester United may also be asking & talking with the player.

Atletico de Madrid has it clear; for any Spanish Club its 41M€ + VAT (contract release clause), if the offer comes from outside Spain the Club will negotiate the transfer price.

Stay tuned as we all await to see an official offer from another Club. If no offer arrives, Arda Turan will continue, he has contract with At Madrid until 2017. In this last case, who knows Coach Simeone may make the Turk run a little bit more.

ATLETICO DE MADRID | ARDA TURAN TO STAY

Good news for Atletico de Madrid fans & followers if it is correct the news from Spanish Sports papers about the words of player Arda Turan. In reference to the 17M€ offer from Monaco the Turkish midfielder has said that he wishes to stay at Atletico de Madrid.

Although the Club does not wish to sell the Turkish International his contract release clause is only 24M€. Atletico de Madrid are concerned that if a Club arrived with the cited sum that player could leave without them being able to do much about it.

According to Barcelona based Spanish Sports paper "Mundo Deportivo" an offer from England arrived last week that was the "feared" 24M€ contract release clause. Arda Turan has let known to Atletico de Madrid & the offering Club that he does not wish to move & has rejected so far up to 5 offers from different Clubs. His desire is to help Atletico in Liga & Champions League this season.

Good news for Atletico, as long as things continue as they are said they are.

GALATASARAY - ATLETICO DE MADRID NEGOTIATING FOR ARDA TURAN

News circulating in the SPANISH FOOTBALL press & media is that ATLETICO DE MADRID is very close to shutting the transfer deal of ARDA TURAN,  midfielder for Turkish Club GALATASARAY. The Turkish Club ignited the news flash by posting on their website that they are negotiating at this moment with the Spanish Football Club.

Turan

This is a past option ( was first studied last March) that has been re-taken up as Atletico sees the DIEGO option ( Brazilian Wolfsburg player ) complicate itself & need to beef up their midfield with a "creative" player. This area is a long time "Achilles heel" of the Club & they believe that the Turkish International Turan will be able to fill the gap & do the job. The player has had offers from English Football but prefers LA LIGA, were Atletico is willing to pay around 13M€ to get the player for the new season.

My only question is, with 75M€ in the bank from the selling of Ujfalusi, De Gea & Aguero, is Turan the only option in all European Football for a creative midfielder?

Stay tuned!

ATLETICO DE MADRID NEGOTIATING WITH GALATASARAY FOR TURAN

News from Spanish Sports paper "AS" comments that Spanish Football Club ATLETICO DE MADRID is negotiating with Turkish Club GALATASARAY for midfielder ARDA TURAN. Altletco is said to be also "testing the waters" to see if they can sell Diego Forlan while in Turkey doing business talking with Besiktas.

Arda Turan

The market price for the Turkish player is speculated to be around 12.5M€, a price that makes one wonder who else Atletico will sell at the end of this season, although we may well all guess. With respect to Turan some "insiders" ask if it is wise to sign a player who has had a very ordinary season & has been hampered by injury. Stay tuned!
