FOOTBALL TRANSFERS | ALVARO MORATA CLOSER TO MANCHESTER UNITED?

News doing the Spanish Sports papers today is that 24 year old REAL MADRID CF young forward & Spanish International ALVARO MORATA has half a foot in the Manchester United door. It seems that the Striker has decided to move elsewhere to find the playing time he cannot get staying at Real Madrid.

Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho has been his prime backer & has been behind convincing Morata that at United he will be a "regular" & find the playing time needed in an upcoming World Cup Finals season.  

As mentioned its a "strong rumour" with the figure being put on the table by United of 70M€. However, although the player seems to have given his OK, Real Madrid needs to have the final say & they ask for around 80-90M€. Looks like some hard bargaining will have to occur before this story finds a good end.

Added to this Real Madrid wishes to wait until the 3rd of July when Cristiano Ronaldo will apparently sit down with Real Madrid Directives & comment his future. A desired exit by Ronaldo may halt the Morata operation flat as Real Madrid assures they secure themselves a forward. We will need to see this outcome.

With the money generated from Morata (70- 90 M€) & a more than likely selling of James Rodriguez (60-70M€), Real Madrid looks set to reinvest in Monaco French youngster Mbappe to cover the gaps left by theses exits.

THE REAL MADRID YOUNGSTERS IMPRESSING ELSEWHERE

Real Madrid keeps looking into the future, as any big Football Club should, in order to secure & guarantee talent apart from maintaining the levels that keeps them in line with their historic objective: the stay the Best Club in the World.

With this end, the Spanish Football Club scouts the World for talent & often signs players very young with 16 year old Norwegian Martin Odegaard the last case. However, living up to the Football standards expected in a "World class" filled team is complicated when your evolution & development depends on regular playing time from the start. Many young talents - local in-house & externally signed - have had to leave Real Madrid to find playing time elsewhere for some to star later e.g., Mata, Parejo, Negredo, Rodrigo, Soldado... (just to name a few) or come back more experienced after "growing up" elsewhere like Arbeloa or Carvajal.

Loaning players out, or selling with option of buy back, are methods which Real Madrid (& FC Barcelona with their youngsters ) utilize to give "options" to their young players to find the playing time & competition needed to grow & show if they are "Real Madrid material".

Two of these players, Casemiro (Porto) & Cheryshev (Villarreal) are having great seasons with their loaned out Clubs & have shown all their talents. According to Spanish Sports media Real Madrid has decided to bring both "back home" next season both players impressed with their current evolution. Some current Real Madrid "big names" are getting on & need more rest, while the long season is often filled with injuries where both mentioned youngster will be handy to have in case to fill vacant positions.

There is a third player that has impressed Real Madrid which had to sell to "leave the nest", Alvaro Morata currently at Italian Club Juventus. The Spanish Club is impressed with the "explosion" onto the scene of their ex-player that it is said that Real Madrid is currently studying buying back the forward. Remember Real Madrid sold for 21M€ & in order to recover Morata will need to spend 30 - 35M€, plus Juventus & player will have to agree which is not so clear at this stage.

JUVENTUS FC WILL SIGN ALVARO MORATA FROM REAL MADRID CF

Spanish Sports daily "AS" advances that young Spanish International & Real Madrid CF forward ALVARO MORATA is headed to Italy, concretely JUVENTUS FC next season. The deal is said to be around a 22M€ transfer fee plus 2,2M€ extra in bonuses for "objectives". The "sticky" point between Clubs was ironed out as Juventus accepts a "buy-back" clause that Real Madrid insisted on. However, it will cost Real Madrid between 30 - 33M€ if they do decided to buy-back Morata in the future.

The player signs for the next 4 years at a salary of around 2,2M€/ season. This finally shuts the door on a group of European Clubs that had Alvaro Morata as a signing priority like Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Porto, Arsenal, Liverpool FC & Villarreal. The Clubs will formalize the deal in coming days & make soon the official announcement.

The Italian Club secures one of Europe´s young promising strikers with an enormous future ahead. The lack of playing time at Real Madrid was halting the players progress & I am sure that Morata will explode at Juventus FC were he will now find fellow Spaniard Fernando Llorente who will not doubt help the youngster in his adaptation to Italian life & Calcio. A good buy by the Italians.
