The Italians had their chances & could have "shaken" the tie had they been more accurate. AC Roma created some important goal opportunities with an active Salah & forward Dzeko. However, both failed to convert while Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas made sure the ball would not pass him tonight.
Real Madrid had their chances as well, but it was not until mid 2º half when Coach Zidane gave Lucas Vazquez a run to substitute Bale. The player "revolutionized" the game & from his pass came the opener in the 64th min through Cristino Ronaldo. Later the Portuguese would assist James Rodriguez in the 68th min to score the teams second goal.
The two other Spanish Football Clubs with Champions League duties, FC Barcelona & Atletico Madrid, play their 2º leg matches next week.
