SPANISH FOOTBALL | ROUND 16 LIGA SUNDAY GAMES RESULTS

Spanish Football action this afternoon with the remaining Round 16 Liga games in play. Here are all the corresponding final results along with all the goalscorers.

Real Madrid won fellow city of Madrid Club Rayo Vallecano 10 - 2. Somewhat misleading scoreline as Rayo Vallecano was leading 1 - 2 &had Real Madrid on the ropes, when the visitors lost 2 men to red cards (Tito in the 15th min & Baena in the 28th min) which changed the whole game. 

With Rayo down to 9 men on the field Real Madrid recovered & steam-rolled the visitors. The goals fell in this order:

With this high scoreline, Real Madrid continues to raise more questions & doubts than give solutions to their "troubled" moments. 

Athletic Club Bilbao defeated 2 - 0 Levante with goals from San José in the 54th min & by young Williams in the 81st min.

Real Sociedad hosted Villarreal to lose their game 0 - 2. Both goals scored by Dennis Suarez, in the 26th & 88th min. 

Granada lost 0 - 2 to Celta de Vigo with goals from Orellana in the 20th min & Aspas in the 44th min.

Malaga FC defeated 1 - 0  Atletico de Madrid thanks to a 88th min goal from Charles. Deserved win for Malaga which takes away the chance from At. Madrid getting top spot of the Liga ladder. The winner was FC Barcelona with a game less & shared points.
