Round 15 of La Liga kicked off with the Friday night game between Madrid Club Getafe & Real Sociedad. The final result a just 1 - 1 draw with Getafe goalkeeper Guite pulling off a match saving act for his team. The opener came through Getafe player Sarabia in the 42nd min & the equalizer through Agirretxe in the 67th min.
FC Barcelona 2 - Deportivo A Coruña 2 final result. Surprise as Barça was leading 2 - 0 before Deportivo started their comeback. Barça relaxed with their trip to Japan perhaps in mind & paid dearly leaving another 2 points behind & rivals closer in the classification table.
Barça began strong with goals from Messi in the 38th min & later Ratikic in the 61st min. Deportivo then commenced their comeback with goals from Lucas in the 76th min & Bergantiños in the 85th min.
Celta de Vigo got back to winning ways with a 1 - 0 victory over troubled RCD Espanyol. The winner came in the 41st min through Aspas.
Levante lost 1 - 2 in an entertaining match with Granada player Peñaranda the hero scoring two goals, including the winner in the 87th min. Levante got their only goal through Simao in the 65th min.
Sevilla FC defeated 2 - 0 Real Sporting de Gijon, the latter frustrated & losing towards the end defender Luis Fernandez to a red card. Gijon held out until the 75th min when Gameiro converted a penalty. Then the Frenchman scored the second in the 80th min.
